Lighthouse Bar & Grill
Great location with mediocre food.
The food, view and music were great. Our server, Adam, was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Fabulous service, excellent food. Tables were spaced to accommodate COVID requirements. We had a lovely experience.
Fresh and great tasting food. Great service and atmosphere.
What a special place! The service was so prompt, and filled with happiness. The shrimp and fish tacos were superb. All the food was such quality. We loved everything. Surprise live music on Thursday evening made the night extra special. We will be back.
My guests were VERY impressed. My only issue might have been how long it took before anyone took our drink order, but we did have water poured. Also, I’m aware there might be some ongoing adjustments as dining in begins again. It was an extra special treat and the menu choices were superb!
The food was great the ambiance was nice, however got sat at little to top in the little sun room, would have liked the dining room. It was a bit loud due to the echo out there. The server was really nice, however the drink delivery was very slow and our soda refill finally came when my daughter was done with her meal. We both had the filet mignon and we were half way done with our steak before we got our first check back. Glad there wasn't really any complaints because we may have been sitting there for awhile. Over all we enjoyed ourselves, my daughter and I knew what we wanted when we came in, we got our steaks and the food and view were nice.
We sat outside and it was lovely. The service was quite good as was the food.
Outstanding dining experience at Lighthouse; food, drink and our waitress Colleen were all first rate, as was the view of the bay, even on a cloudy day. Made for a very enjoyable anniversary meal!
The blue cheese salad dressing was very good. The rice in the risotto and under the fish was unevenly cooked. Some grains were mushy and others were hard. The bread in the basket seemed to need more salt in it, it was rather bland. The service was excellent.
Great service, great ambiance and the food is excellent
Good food, the menu is limited, but that is due to covid 19. Overall a great place.
We arrived early for our reservation. So we went to the bar. We sat at a very nice window table with a view of the bay. We didn't want to move so we had dinner there too. My husband had the salmon. It was perfectly cooked and was delicious. I had the lamb shank. It was served with a wonderful demiglace. It was delicious. It was such a treat to have someone bring me food and drink. Especially after self quarantining. We would go back here in a heartbeat. Wonderful place to spend an evening.
good meal, the menu was limited, but that is understandable with covid 19.
You really get what you pay for. Food was excellent and service was great.
The Light House gets it right! Excellent dining at its best. The staff is attentive, and appreciated. You cannot go wrong with them . Highly recommended.
We love this place! Service seemed just a bit delayed but Adam was great as always.
Menu seemed limited if you couldn't eat shellfish or lobster.
Will definitely be back for the ambience
They ran out of several menu items at 6:15 pm (only an hour into dinner service) and what was left was over-priced and mediocre in the taste arena. This was a destination weekend. Disappointed
A perfect dining experience, it was amazing. I wouldn't have changed a thing.
We went on Valentine’s Day date night for dinner. The ambiance is excellent and the service was great..Food is ok .
Dinner was absolutely fantastic, and the service is the best in town, we will continue to make this our Date night spot :)
This was our first visit to the restaurant. All of us were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The service was spot-on and every course was delicious. A wonderful way to celebrate a birthday. I definitely recommend this place!! BTW - the Caesar salad is one of the best I’ve had :)
We decided to come here after searching "Best Places to eat in Bellingham". We figured it was a nicer drive than to downtown Vancouver, BC. So we did the 21 mile drive and was pleasantly surprised at the location. This restaurant was located near old Fairhaven and has a fantastic view of the water. There are other restaurants in the area, but we chose this one due to the ambience. Anthony's is another one on the water, but it was a more-relaxed atmosphere. Either places would be great in the summer when you can enjoy the outdoor deck in the sun.
Adam was our server and he was very attentive and informative. We had a great time! Food selection is adequate and the drink selection is also very good. Portion size is "fine dining" size, so do not expect to eat large portions although I was full in the end.
fantastic views of the bay and the islands, combined with a great sunset, made for a perfect outdoor evening. I also got to enjoy the restaurant in the winter time and with fire place on, made this establishment very cozy.
The food was excellent as was the service...our waiter was very attentive but not overbearing...food arrived promptly and was very flavourful and well plated.
The location offered a nice view...unfortunately the weather did not lend itself to outdoor dining although lunch...had we stayed would have been pleasant.....prices were comparable to finer dining and with the coupons given as part of our hotel stay, dinner and breakfast were quite reasonable...live piano music in the bar section was nice background.
Overall a very pleasant dining experience and we would certainly partake of the dinner package when we stay at the hotel again.
The sea scallops dish was superb, the best I've ever tasted!
We came early (5:00) and were told they were out already out of crab cakes! Menu selection leaves much to be desired. Would rather they had a few signature dishes than menu items you might find anywhere. Service was good.
the service was at best, adequate. it took over ten minutes for a waiter/waitress to bring us water and ask us if we wanted a beverage. the food, adequate as well. Nothing special. It's a shame too as the location is amazing, right on the water. It is too bad the food and service were not up to par. We would not return to this restaurant again.
Food was nothing special. A nice place to go for a drink with a view.
I really enjoyed my meal and the service was great. I plan on visiting again and recommending it to friends.
This location has had several different restaurants in the past few years, all of which were disappointing. Finally, I think we have a winner. The location is superb, and this time the restaurant lives up to the location.
The best view of Bellingham bay from any restaurant with outside seating in Bellingham. Marina boat traffic, sailboat races, people flying kites and sunset on the bay all make this spot one the best dining experiences in Whatcom County. Their new menu is a real upgrade, fresh seafood lots of small plate options for sharing or for appetizers with a drink all at a moderate price.
