   Service was awkward. Our starters came almost immediately and then there was a very long pause before our mains came. Neither were anything to speak about. Nothing outstanding, just sort of blah. I did not care for having my escargot over very salty toast. I would have rathered a traditional style and with more Calvados cream sauce. I ordered my hanger steak Medium and specifically said " hot pink center." It arrived very very rare almost bloody. Waiter never checked , never asked me or my daughter how our meal was. He took two plates away from the table with 1/2 eaten on each and never suspected there might be a problem. I didn't want to get into it with my college age daughter present, but if I had been there with my husband I would have sent it back immediately. My daughter had the $32 speckled trout and the piece of fish was incredibly small with no standout flavors. Thank goodness I ordered dessert, but it is a sad day when an ice cream trio is the best thing you ate at the restaurant. I loved the decor and ambience, but the food was blah and the service was not on point at all. $150 with -0- alcohol only water and iced tea. I would not recommend Lillette at all. I'm sorry.

    What an outstanding experience! An excellent balance of professionalism and friendliness. Extraordinary food presented again in a way that it is a heightened culinary experience but in a most comfortable setting. Lilette has most certainly earned a spot in our NOLA rotation. Magnifique!

    We were visiting New Orleans for a wedding and a friend recommended Lilette. We were very happy they did. Great ambiance; great service and the food was outstanding. One of the best meals we had.

    This was our first dining experience at Lilette but definitely won’t be our last. The restaurant itself is simple and gorgeous, and the food (especially the Italian wedding soup, chicken breast, and steak frites) was DELISH! Plus the service was fantastic— helpful and not pushy. Loved it!

    Took the streetcar here on the first night of our NOLA stay. Food and drinks were great. Our waiters suggestions were spot on! Marscapone pasta and corn soup appetizers were Mmmmm

    I recently tried to curb some of my grade inflation so not everything that is really good and worth trying like Lilette necessarily gets a 5 star . I give it 4 but it is a must stop on NO great food scene . The menu is sophisticated and all my food was superbly prepared . The sweet corn soup and crab was as expected delicate and superb. My entre was a gulf fish that was superbly cooked . The paring on a bed of quinoa was fine . I did not care for the raw vegetables that came along . For me it was an odd baring of a baked fish with cold vegetables that left me wanting for something different . The dessert a wonderful goat cheese creme franche had just the right amount of sweetness . I found the dining chairs a bit hard and uncomfortable and not up to par with prices . Lilette is a must try .

    I would go just to get the Mezcal Negroni, but the food here is terrific. The drum is always a good choice, since the kitchen displays a lot of ingenuity in adapting the dish to whatever vegetables are in season. The staff is friendly and attentive.

    Even though the tables are incredibly close, we were able to converse. Appreciate your efforts to cut down on noise (tables were padded underneath). Excellent service and he told us that the soft shell crab was almost gone so he saved us some even though we were not ready to order. Everything was very good and we had a great time at your bar next door for after dinner drinks! Thank you!
