Lisa Marie Ratings and Reviews
Excellent service and food as always. Steak and eggs cooked perfectly served with the delectable duck fat fries.
California eggs benny was delicious! Great service
Amazing spot for a group booking! Thank you so much for accommodating our large group.
Great food, very imaginative.
Wish there was more Elvis!
Tables were too close together which made it awkward squeezing between two strangers with a winter jacket on. Music was very loud for brunch but the playlist was good.
Cali benny made with fresh ingredients, eggs poached perfectly. Pad Thai fries I found spicy.
Mimosa 14 too expensive for the size. Our drinks didn’t come at the same time and took a very long time to come after being seated. The Cali Benny was exceptional but due to the ambiance, level of service and rest of the menu I wouldn’t go back.
Place was fantastic.. Best of all, no need to do lineup..reservations are taken for Sunday brunch. Music was a bit too loud though.
The food here is always good, never disappoints however on our most recent visit the same items that we have ordered before were in noticeably smaller portion sizes.
The food was amazing and we had great service wth great recommendations...We’ll be back!!
Tons of fun. Great burger!
We had watched the Netflix shows & were very much looking forward to trying the food featured on the show...but were extremely disappointed. The pulled pork was dry and tasteless. The ribs were delicious and the brisket was okay.
I have to say that since we live so far away (Alliston) that it wasn't worth the drive at all.
I was meeting a friend there for brunch. We had to ask to be served and seated ourselves. The servers were too busy but they were nice. The coffee was cold and tea was weak. It took forever for them to heat the coffee, or refill hot coffee, or just get a fresh cup, or get another teabag. The food was ok. It's served on big pans that don't retain any heat so it's cold after the first few bites.
Awesome food. So good that every dish was so unique and tasty. I’ll be back for more
Delicious food and our water jar was always full!
The place is very cool, cozy, and has a variety of food options. No specific cuisine, a bit of everything, good appetizers to share (fried cauliflower & philly cheesesteak baos are my favorites). Being from Montreal, I tried the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich that comes with a cheeseburger patty - apparently they smoke the meat in-house - pretty delicious! My only disappointment was the elvis dessert, I expected to have french toasts with PB&J, bananas and bacon, but it was more like a whipped cream cup covering some bread & bananas, the candied bacon was still very good though.
Date night! Food was amazing
Pad Thai Fries amazing. I will be telling my friends and going back!!!
I've been here for brunch and dinner and both were delicious! They also know how to make a decent cocktail which is an added bonus. The winner of our last meal was the king pao cauliflower (which to be honest we were all kind of surprised by) though, the Mac and cheese was a good second but I would suggest sharing it and something else as it is a bit rich and repetitive.
Sound volume was awful though, especially with the DJ.
Food was great. But service was horrendous.
We arrived for our lunch reservation at 12pm. We ordered our food by 12:20pm and all our food arrived by 12:40pm. By 1:08pm the server advised us the next reservation has arrived and asked us to finish our food and pay our bill immediately. They acknowledged that they double booked the table and was their mistake, but still asked us to leave. We didn't even finish half our meal yet. I declined and said we aren't leaving, and it was up to them to fix the mistake they made. They came by 3 more times and said they couldn't fix the mistake asked us to leave. I declined again. Finally they said they will figure it out. We were paying our bill at 1:25pm and was chatting amongst ourselves. The server came by again, asked us to leave as the guests were still waiting.
Food was good, but wow, was the service terrible.
Slow service, extremely noisy (can’t have a conversation) mediocre food
Really delicious food and great service. The music was so loud it was hard to hear my friends. I think it was too loud for a Saturday morning.
Good but a bit loud if you are trying to talk to your friends
Great atmosphere, great beers, awesome food and great service.
Amazing! Food looked beautiful and tasted so good, can’t wait to go back!
I had a great experience at Lisa Marie. I loved the food, fun & unique. The Kung Pow cauliflower was a hit, and trust me I'm a very picky cauliflower eater. I'm also not a big drinker, but the Ain't Nobody Got Thyme For That got me- and it was very good. Liked the music. The service was good, and was able to accommodate our increasing party size. Bathrooms were clean. I will return if I'm in the Trinity Bellwoods area.
Great food, great service, great location. The only drawback was the extreme noise level...ok for an evening but a bit over the top for Saturday brunch. Could not hear each other speak without shouting.
Worst dining experience I have ever had. Even after complaining to the manager, little was done to resolve issues. The manager actually asked us to come up with a solution. Everyone left hungry.
Not good for dining at all.
Was disappointed when we were told our table was given away after arriving 8 minutes late for our reservation. They were sold out of their special at 730. Our app came out after our mains.
Great variety on their menu. Reasonable pricing. Service is fantastic every time!
It was a bit too hot in there! Unseasonally warm conditions, yes, but need some fans going...food was alright, not as great as the reviews!
We went in as a part of 4. We wanted to have dinner there. More than 15 mins passed after we were given a table, no one came to take our order. We decided to leave, disappointed with the experience. VERY dissapointed. We were completely ignored by the staff.
I found the place quite enjoyable overall. The fusion style of food was something that appealed to me. If i can have one critique, it would be that some of our dishes were consistently on the salty side (kung pow cauliflower & smoked brisket). The flavors were there and matched perfectly but if only the chef didn't go heavy handed on the salt. The washroom can also use some work. It was a little dungeon-esque for my liking.... Otherwise, I really enjoyed my time here and would recommend this place to my friends. Will also come back for the pad thai fries.... regret not trying that.
Tuesday Bingo Night is so much fun! Great environment and friendly working staff. The Pad Thai fries are delicious and they have a great selection of beers on draught. I will definitely be back
Ate brunch Labour Day Monday, it was my first time. I was very happy with my expierence from the start; A quick reception and seating upon arrival, followed by well made beverages, and an exceptional main course. Next time I'm in town I'll dine again!
I have had it on my brain over the past couple of years to go to the Bake Shoppe on College Street. I was in town this weekend for a concert with my mother and two friends and talked them into walking over to College Street from our hotel on Richmond. Ambitious? Nah, you build up an appetite and burn off those calories before inhaling them.
On our way up Queen Street West we walked past a VERY BUSY Lisa Marie. We stopped, heard the hostess say there was an hour and a half wait. We felt all signs pointed towards "check Open Table for a reservation for Sunday!" SCORE! They had one right when opening time was before we headed back to Buffalo.
We had front, open window seating that was fun since a Labour (Labor for us) Day parade going down Queen Street and the air show was still flying about. Over stimulation? Nope. Just a fun experience on those two event alone that will ruin it for future brunch ventures for me.
Anyway - service? Miranda was just great! Total sweetheart! Patient, friendly, provided good service without making us feel rushed.
Ok, so the food and drinks? My mother and I got the bacon explosion and pulled pork benny special with pad thai fries AND the duck fat potatoes. Mom and I split our meals and the sides. My bacon explosion seemed a little dry and my eggs a little too hard (I love drippy), but I still ate most of it and enjoyed it. I got two+ Last Stops' to drink as well. Mom asked for another that didn't come. She considered it saved calories. Too bad Duty Free didn't have the Butter Ripple Liquor (buttery nipple I kept accidentally calling it) on our way home otherwise I would be all set with my own homemade cold brew to make my own Last Stop.
I will be sure to keep Lisa Marie on my list of places to come back to on future trips up North. I hope Bake Shoppe will be open next time so we can walk off our Lisa Marie calories on our way over!
Side note: I keep thinking about the pad thai fries this week! YUM!
Always love bring our out-of town visitors to Lisamarie's as it encapsulates Torontos fun street food scene in a comfortable fun atmosphere. Great cocktails too. Definitely have enjoyed some of the finest in the city here.
Great food, nice urban atmosphere and 1/2 priced wine on Wednesday is a win!
Great experience as always. Love lisa marie for great food!
I celebrated my bday there, and it was amazing!! Thank you so much for the experience, your staff went above and beyond!
A wall of noise hits you as you enter, so loud that we left without ordering.
