Great service, Amazing food! I’m so disappointed it will be closed.
Unfortunately Lisa Marie is closing. Sad to see it go.
Service was a bit slow and the tables are very close together. I was bumped into countless times by other customers and service staff.
The food was amazing and the over all atmosphere was great though. Will definitely be back again
Another delicious meal as usual. It's a shame that they'll be closing this week.
One of the best food experiences I have had in Canada - buzzing ambience, courteous, friendly staff, amazing food and a sound owner. Sugo&Bread is amazing and il be sad to see them go.
The food was good, and reasonably priced. The service was friendly, but sometimes hard to get a server. I wouldn't object to another meal there, but I won't be rushing back.
Food was ok but it was extremely busy and service was poor
Social vibe at Sunday brunch was great - friendly, upbeat patrons and staff. Food was hot & tasty - a suitable antidote to a late Saturday night. Arriving at noon, noise from a full house was ... intense. But ... after a couple of drinks we were into it.
The food and the service was great. We had four in our party and we enjoyed a bottle of cava and about 5 dishes to share and we were stuffed! We also got both of their desserts and it was amazing. Even if we were stuffed to the brim - there’s always room for dessert :) the only comment about the place was that it did get super loud at one point where we couldn’t hear the server - but the music was turned down a bit after that. All in all - great resto!
Great service. Good recommendations from our server. Half price wine offer was a bonus. Food was very good but I would skip the fries next time.
Good food at a decent price. Only compliant are high top seating are not that comfortable and you are arranged randomly even if you make a reservation. In larger groups (4+) then the system works well, if you dine in pairs then it is pretty uncomfortable to be that close to your neighbors. Also they lack any accommodation of jackets and the light which they can solve easily by putting hooks under their high top tables.
Overall, definitely a four star experience, but far from a five.
Didn’t love the mimosa but the eggs Benedict and Pad Thai fries were amazing.
The food had the potential to be good but ultimately was below par. I had to send my meal back twice. Once for undercooked eggs and another
Everything was perfect - eat here . You'll love it.
Delicious food and great vibes all around! Will definitely be coming back for half price wine on Wednesdays.
I met my son there before seeing a play at Theatre Pass Muraille. It was conveniently located to the theatre. The place was casual and comfy but could use a paint job and some basic cleaning. The food selection was minimal and a little pricey for what it was, but the food was very good, albeit not the healthiest. The Kung Pao cauliflower dish and Pad Thai fries were most unusual and very tasty. Not sure I would go back but my son seemed keen to try the spaghetti and meatballs (they did look amazing! - Wednesday nights only) so he'll definitely be back.
Nice spot for brunch, liked the communal setting and vibe. Food was good, but no wow factor like I can't wait to come back and eat here. I can see how it would be a fun after work spot for drinks.
The food was overpriced and not very good. The drinks we ordered came in really small glasses for $15 each. Our dishes didn’t come out at the same time. We were two people! Why?! The place wasn’t even full. Really disappointing experience overall.
Overall great experience. Matt was willing to come out and take a pic with me and that really made my birthday extra special
The food was delicious but the place was a little too loud for my liking. I would still recommend for a nice quick brunch!
Tables by the window can be too hot and bright. No way to shade your eyes.
We went for brunch. I specifically reserved a table asking not to be placed by the front door and was placed RIGHT in front of it! When I brought this up to the server, she said "that was all they had left", which means they clearly gave us the first table they had on hand as opposed to actually reserving any sort of seating - it was a coincidence we happened to even find some. Every time it opened, there was a gust of cold air from outside.
After that, we were told they don't have an espresso machine, so forget about having a cappuccino with your meal. What kind of brunch place in Toronto (especially one that has a special brunch menu and charges $4 for a small tea) doesn't have one of those these days?!
We ordered the bacon explosion benny with pad thai fries (mediocre, and the fries were fridge cold and had to be replaced), California benny (decent, fries were only slightly above room temp) with the same side, and the smoke salmon latke (the best dish at the table, quite good) with duck fat fries (duck fat fries had dijon mustard - they were ok but nothing to rave about, and were cut too thick IMO). Both bennys seemed overpriced for what they were.
Overall, there are other places in Toronto with far better service that I'd pick over this one for brunch.
Super yum! Rich dishes, but so easy to share. The cheese steak buns and cauliflower were just excellent.
Great vibe! Food was delicious and a good choice for brunch . Better than average coffee. Just a little loud.
The service here was incredible. I organized a group get together on a Saturday night for my husbands birthday and we were shown amazing hospitality all night long. Management helped bring out birthday dessert with candles at midnight on the dot. The cocktails were delicious. Love how this place served amazing food for dinner and and then turned into a bar with a dance floor and an awesome DJ. Very happy with my experience here!
So incredibly over priced I couldn’t believe it , we went 2 years ago and now everything has double in price. $12 for a small portion of French fries tossed in hot sauce, are you kidding me? Spent $26 on chicken that didn’t even fill me up, couldn’t believe how small the portion was. We will never be going back
We found the menu was limited with its food items. For regular pancakes with no chocolate chips or dressing, we needed to pay the price for the "Smores Pancake" item which was $16.00. For that price my husband was presented with 2 mediocre sized pancakes that were lukewarm that came with a thimble-sized plastic container of syrup. They did not have butter for the toast or the pancakes. Our table were asked to wait about 10 minutes for a freshly brewed coffee. I would think brunch would have coffee ready at all times considering it's a staple for many for breakfast/brunch. My $17.00 shakshukah, although delicious, came luke warm to our table and much later than the rest of our party of 6 were served. It was flavourful, generous with the eggplant and feta cheese and had two small eggs that were smothered in tomato sauce. I would have preferred to have it served in anything but the aluminum platter that it came in. Even though the amount of aluminum that leaches into food is usually minimal, I did detect an unpleasant metallic taste in the tomato sauce. The restaurant was loud and necessitated us yelling to one another across the table. If you're going there in the hopes of having any sort of conversation, save the conversation for later. There was an automatic 18% tip levied for our table of 6 so check your bill carefully prior to paying.
Liked the decor. Service was good. Enjoyed most of the dishes.
Was there for dinner and the noise level was so high. The communal high top tables are too close together and the group sitting beside us were essentially shouting at each other. Food was overall pretty underwhelming as it was under seasoned and lukewarm.
Fantastic, great food, good portion size, fast, friendly
We went for Winterlicious. Food, service, ambiance and staff friendliness was outstanding! highly recommend! We can't wait to dine at Lisa Marie again!!
My friends and I arrived for Winterlicious on a Wednesday night for 7pm - lots of available seating. We decided to go for the a la carte menu instead and ordered the pad Thai fries ($12), Seoul fried chicken ($26) and pork belly fried rice ($21). Flavours were decent but value was awful. Chicken was $26 for two small thighs, one drumstick, and one small breast. Pad Thai fries were $12 for a dessert plate’s worth of fries.
Service was generally inattentive - server took our empty water jug away and didn’t bother coming back with a filled one.
Nothing inspires me to make a return visit anytime soon.
Great Brunch food and atmosphere! Would definitely go back for the eggs benny!
Went for Winterlicious and food was practically thrown at us . Arrived for 7:30 and were finished 3 course by 8:00. Was barely finished one course and the other was put in front of us , everything was just VERY rushed and didn’t have an opportunity to enjoy the food or the night
Always the best in every way. As always , we will be back
The experience wasn't bad however there were a couple things that didn't meet expectations. Although the server was good, he took a long time to initially come over and take drink orders. They also first out us at a table near the door and it was very cold everytime people would come in which made us uncomfortable. The food also could have been slightly better. The garlic butter donuts were cold and didn't seem fresh. The main meals were fine but also slightly cold. And the desserts just seemed mediocre, particularly the Elvis which, although tasted fine, the menu didn't indicate it also came in a jar.
So, again, not a bad experience. Just could have been better.
Food was great. We expected to be treated like crap since we were there for Winterlicious and our past experiences at winterlicious participating restaurants has been poor. But staff were pleasant and treated us fine. Service was super quick and we probably would have liked a bit more time to enjoy ourselves between courses, but cant complain overall.
Went for winterlicious dinner had the tuna ceviche, kung pao cauliflower and tofu, and the elvis for dessert. My fave was the cauliflower and tofu. So delicious! Service was also excellent!
Never had a bad meal here, the Pad Thai fries are worth the trip! Always have fantastic service!
The food was terribly underseasoned and tasteless and the service was awful. They have high chair table seating and the couple on either side of us were offered refills on their coffee and we were not. We saw the waitress when she took our orders and when it was time to pay the bill. When we arrived we even stood at the door for 8 minutes before we just decided to seat ourselves. When we did we were told the table was reserved for a group and only then were we acknowledged and seated to a different table. The food is VERY overpriced for the crap you get. Worst place for brunch I’ve ever been to.
