With the exception of one item, everything else was perfectly delicious. My only issue was with the butter lettuce salad with the beloved mustard vinaigrette. I’ve dined at this restaurant for years and while I did eat the salad, it consisted of only the dark green more bitter outer leaves of butter lettuce. They were tough and bitter, and there were no baby sweet delicate tasting lettuce leaves from the inner part of the lettuce head.

First of all our server was phenomenal, I believe her name was Mandy or Amanda, the food was fantastic we were celebrating my birthday and most of us got steaks, I don’t know why you would eat anything else here, very flavorful, perfectly coked to our desired temperatures, everyone loved their food in our party of 7. Let’s not forget desert because the strawberry shortcake was the cherry on top of my birthday celebration! Highly recommend if you are visiting the Sarasota area.

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays last night at Geronimo. As usual we were treated like family, with superb service and excellent food. This is an amazing restaurant! Our server was Jarod and he was so attentive but not overly so. Ask for him to be your server, you will enjoy his knowledge of all the foods on the menu and his wit. The food is outstanding! Everything we had was perfectly seasoned and presented so nicely. The menu is exciting and it was difficult to choose what to enjoy. Of course we took our leftovers home with us. They very nicely package it up for you and present the food to the table in a bag. Definitely plan ahead and make a reservation. My wife had the seafood gumbo and pork chop, saying it was definitely the best she’s had in the city, with pain perdu bread pudding for dessert. I had the tomato bisque with crawfish bread, crab and tomato salad and darkened salmon, with a surprisingly delightful green tomato with cinnamon and hazelnut alongside bread crumbles and vanilla ice cream. All dishes were delicious, and service from Bryan and Meril was great with the right balance of checking in and leaving us to enjoy our meal.

The mixed greens salad was really good. The albacore had a nice sear. Get the biscuits!!!. And the mint coffee ice cream covered in chocolate. Great food without the tourists. Would definitely go back again when in the area.

This was third year of taking my brother to Washington Inn for his birthday. As usual from the valet parking, to being greeted friendly to the service, the food, the drinks - everything was perfect.
Built in 1840, this Cape May estate is now home to the acclaimed Washington Inn and Wine Bar. The Craig Family has carefully preserved the beauty & essence of this distinctive treasure without undertaking major alterations to its original form.
