Everything is as elegantly close to perfection yet without any of the pretention that comes with a stiff perfect. It's a fluid, human, authentic, warm and cozy experience. Dinner was spectacular in every way. Beautifully presented, complex flavours, delicious and filling too!!! After tasting the intro beverage, husband opted for matching fermented drink pairings instead of the wine (he's usually very much a wine guy) and quite enjoyed it. I do wish the Menu that we were given at the end was more detailed. The description provided by the server had FAR more info than this menu list. We will likely return when the menu changes.

An incredible view with delicious food to match. Our server, Nick was simply amazing and made our experience even that much better. We had come from Vancouver for a foodie trip and this was the highlight of our week even though 2 nights before we had spent 3 times as much at another restaurant which had turned out to be more hype than anything else. This was my first time going and… WOW - No wonder they got a Michelin star. It was a pleasure to sit at the counter and watch Chef Daisuke Izutsu prepare each dish. The Lunch Lady was a fantastic experience for us. We were celebrating our son's birthday and we were looking for something out of the ordinary. The Lunch Lady certainly filled the bill. We ordered three apples and three entrees, all of which were superb. Worthy of special mention were the carpaccio, the deep-fried tiger prawns, the Dungeness crab fried rice and the lobster hot pot. My partner and I had the best time having dinner at Miku. For our first time there, I asked if we could have a table with a view and we did! The ambiance and service were top notch. We were expecting to order sushis but got seduced by the duck breast and rib steak on the menu and it was truly delicious. The ingredients (mushrooms, miso, eggplant...) tasted better than I ever tasted them before. Then, we still ordered one portion of sushis just out of curiosity and it tasted like heaven. We will be back by ourselves and also if we have guests we want to impress!
