The whole experience was great, food and service were fantastic. I got the seafood medley pasta and the other person got the 12oz charred steak. The portions were very generous and lots of seafood in my dish. Our server was very attentive and funny. We arrived early for our reservation and got a table right away. We were seated in the bar which was small and more casual. The only thing to make the experience better would be more tasteful Christmas music instead of sounding like you’re in a Walmart shopping. Maybe some more classic or instrumental would set the atmosphere better in this nice restaurant.

Perfect lunch by the boats at Dockside. Table couldn’t have been more perfect. The chicken sandwich was yummy especially the pickles. Lovely to start with a mimosa even though brunch hour had passed. We devoured our food. I had the pancakes with thick bacon which was a perfect sweet/savory combo. I enjoyed every bite even though I think soufflé pancakes would elevate the dish even more! Great experience as always! It was our first time sitting downstairs in the bar area. Was great atmosphere and our server Rory was great. My wife did find it kind of cold sitting there though. We were in the corner booth, which was great but for her it was cold. There was other ladies there who also had sweaters or still had jackets on. On the same point I was ok and found it comfortable. We had a lovely time at The Commoner, party of 6. Ambience was great. Food delicious except the veggie burger was over spiced and had an unpleasant taste. Street corn tacos awesome as well as the cheeseburger and fish and chips. The Nashville chicken was great and the Poke Bowl was awesome! All the dishes we ordered were updated to Truffle Fries. Super yummy!!! Will def be back!! Staff are very courteous and polite and food delivery was superb!

We spent 4 days in Vancouver eating at nice restaurants and this was our favourite meal. Our 10 and 12 year old boys ordered off the adult menu and said it was the best fish they've ever had.
