The food as always simply delicious. We both had CHILAQUILES AIDA. "infladitas rellenas de chilaquiles con pollo y frijoles, con 3 salsas y huevo de cordoniz estrellado encima". Great, exquisite without being the gigiantic plate of chilaquiles. As always the service is superb. They always great music, kind of American or Brazilian jazz or blues. Prices are going up. What used to be a $650 pesos breakfast for 2, went up to more than $1000.

This is like the Platonic ideal of a cafe. It's listed as French although the menu also includes dishes that are Mexican, Italian, American, or some fusion of the above (Tequila creme brulee, anyone?). But the various cuisines blend harmoniously. They make excellent salads and vegetable dishes and a pretty mean pizza, too. The menu offers a classic steak frites and a daily fish dish, house made desserts, and a wonderful array of coffee and hot drinks as well as cocktails. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating, and although the cafe overlooks a busy road, there is enough greenery to make it feel like an oasis. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Beware: the in-house bakery sells out early, and it can get noisy and crowded at peak times.

We had brunch on a very warm day, and there were many large tables of diners on the floor. Our server was top notch, but the kitchen didn’t deliver. Three of us got our food, but our 4th companion wasn’t served until well after we had all finished our meals. Our server was apologetic, and she didn’t charge for the late arriving meal. I think there may be better options for brunch in Roma Norte or Condesa.

Excellent location in the Historic Center, delicious food and professional customer service by all staff. Cinthya was our server and she was a delight. Definitely coming back, family friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Menu has wide options European/ American and Mexican options. Everything was exquisite.

Absolutely beautiful garden surroundings and dining area under a thatched roof veranda with rustic chairs and hanging vines . Our anniversary dinner was so delicious and the service was top notch. 3 couples were celebrating the same Oct 1st anniversary- 44 yrs, 41 yrs and 2 yrs. To celebrate my birthday while traveling to SLP, me and my family searched for a nice place to have a Bday breakfast. Malo Cafe did not disappoint at all! The restaurant was cozy, the service was good, our dishes were delicious and the cappuccinos were amazing! I had two cups… could not get enough. Thank you taking care of us and making it a nice Bday moment. Cheers.
