Hubby & I tried the tasting menu. Each course was outstanding. Extraordinary server. Attentive but not hovering. Excellent timing serving food and drinks. The NY strip was generous and prepared as requested. Some people order “stuff” on top of their steak. But a good piece of beef — like mine — needs only a little salt. The on duty manager runs a tight ship and it showed top to bottom.

I first dined at Jimmy Kelly's in 2008. I have enjoyed dining at Jimmy Kelly's every time I've been in Nashville since then. This week's visit was no different. Chris, our server, was impressive and most attentive. Even learning names of folks at our table and addressed correctly each time. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. We're always excited to dine at Jimmy Kelly's.

Mama's was recommended to us by several coworkers and my goodness they did not disappoint!! First off the restaurant is located next to this incredible beach with turquoise blue waters and dramatic seafoam capped waves. The grounds are covered with lush tropical greenery and plants. We attended the restaurant on one of our last days as it was close to the airport. We were celebrating our honeymoon and they sat us where we had exceptional views of the ocean. We ordered a Pink Hibiscus drink and a Bourbon Sour, which were both strong and delicious. While waiting for our appetizers, the waitress provided us with fresh warm, soft bread served with butter and a delicious small serving of bisque. For appetizers we had the crab cakes and they were so delicious and flaky golden. For the entree we both ordered the stuffed mama's Fish, and my goodness it was the best fish I have ever had. Its the fish of the day stuffed with crab and seerved with a lobster tail and the lobster was cooked perfect. The fish is covered in a pineapple sauce but doesnt taste like pineapple at all. For dessert, we had a banana crumble served warm with ice cream and a chocolate pie with a caramel crust, super rich but so delectable for chocolate lovers. This was the priciest restaurant that we have ever eaten at, spending around $200 for the 2 drinks, appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. Maybe slightly overpriced, but I'm telling you it is the best on the island!!!! Definitely a must. 10/10 recommend. Service was excellent.

From the moment we walked in to our ride on the elevators we were overwhelmed. We were greeted at the counter with a smile and a happy anniversary from the receptionist. Everyone was awesome. Our waitress was great and she took care of us. She even took pictures of us after our meal. Speaking of the meal, WOW!! I had the Southern fried chicken with pimento Mac and cheese and collards. Fabulous. My wife had the Steak Frites. Perfectly cooked. And the char was great. We even got a gift before leaving. The view was awesome too. I have never been in a building that high up before. It was cool to say the least. Thanks to the staff and management, and kudos to the chef at Sundial.
