This is a cool place to have brunch. Great harbor and city views. Food was pretty good albeit a little expensive. Cocktails are very expensive. We just did wine and mimosa. We had indoor high top seats which still had a great view. I think the igloos were really cool but they hold larger parties and we were only 2. I think this would be beautiful at night as well. From the photos I’ve seen it looks great. I don’t know if we absolutely needed a reservation as it wasn’t too busy Sunday around noon but as the afternoon goes on it definitely picks up. Looks like all lot of people just grabbed drinks and stood out on the balcony. So that’s an option too. It wasn’t too noisy or crowded. Staff were friendly.

Mare has one of the greatest ambiences in all of Providence: great interior and exterior, glass roof for daytime brunch, well spaced tables and layout. The service and servers are wonderful, and the food is great. I wish there were a 4.5 star option, because the entree this time was a little overcooked (cod). However, appetizers and dessert were top notch, as were cocktails. 100% recommend.

From « Tim, » who greeted us outside (We had an early reservation -5 PM) to every staff member and every server, we experienced nothing but outstanding service, drinks, and the food was beyond delicious! We dined outside, enjoying the spectacular views. Presentations were lovely. By far our favorite part of the evening was our server, Martin, who is finishing his third year as a Server at PePé’s and who hopes to return next summer. He was the most professional server any of our group had ever encountered. His personality was delightful and he was exceptionally attentive.

We love this restaurant! Everything was awesome but I think they may have been swamped, hence the service was not as good as usual. However, that being said, it is still much better than a lot of places. The food is always spot on too! Love this place!

I hadn't been for a while, I don't remember the food being this great! Not sure if it's a new chef or what but the food was fantastic. The server was great and as always the atmosphere overlooking the the wine aging making barrels put us in the right mood.
