If you think you would like to go reservations open 90 days ahead so be ready to book when you are planning your visit to London. I think it's worth it to plan your day around your meal here. The staff were welcoming and attentive, made a celebration meal very memorable. This was our first time at the Ivy and the menu, venue and food were excellent, recommended for a special occasion or treat.

World War I poet Siegfried Sassoon lived in Matfield and is the inspiration behind our name. Sassoon was awarded the Military Cross for "conspicuous gallantry" and later won acclaim for his writing. We're pretty sure he would have loved our food too!

I had a wonderful dinner at The Quality Chop House. I started with the Devon crab and prawn ravioli, which was delicate, fresh, and packed with flavour—a perfect beginning to the meal. For the main course, the lamb chops were outstanding—perfectly cooked and deeply satisfying. Finished the dinner with a delicious strawberry pavlova - highly recommended. The restaurant has an excellent wine list, with options that pair beautifully with the food. The staff were knowledgeable and welcoming, and they helped me a lot in choosing from the menu as a first-time customer. I’ll definitely be back soon!
