O Ya is the place to go for some of the best sushi in Boston. Located in a 100-year-old fire station in Boston’s historic Leather District, it features contemporary Japanese dining in a cozy, intimate setting. The dining room only seats 37 people and has a 17-seat chef’s counter where you can watch the skilled chefs preparing your meal. Owner and Chef Tim Cushman offers an Omakase tasting menu as well as an extensive a la carte menu. You can sample a wide array of their creative nigiri, sashimi, vegetable, wagyu beef, pork and chicken dishes. They also have a killer sake list. Expect to linger over your meal - average dining time is between 2-3 hours so you get to fully appreciate every flavor.
