My husband and I decided to celebrate his birthday at Chop (West End location) after a 2 year avoidance due to a previous bad experience. Well Redemption is theirs! Our server Rachel (I highly recommend requesting her) was phenomenal! She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. She took the time to discuss different dished with us - asking us what we think of this or if we liked that - and it ultimately resulted with us having a perfect meat from beginning to end. Their Chili Garlic Shrimp appetizer was a lovely way to start the meal. It has a moderate amount of chili heat which balances well with the garlic. The shrimp were plump and not overcooked at all. Very yummy! My husband had the Fillet Mignon and I had the Rib Eye - Wow! They were done perfectly. Kudos to that Chef! We did decide to share a dessert and we selected the Salted Caramel Pot de Creme from the Summer Menu. OMG!! It was amazing! Honestly this was one of the best meals we have had - very glad we came back. And the staff even signed a birthday card for my hubby! That was really nice - like I said Redemption is theirs! Thank you Chop and especially Rachel for making my hubby's birthday really special.

Everything was great! And I’m quite picky about my food. But all the food came out exactly as I ordered and tasted great. The waitress was wonderful and kind and we had a lot of privacy on the patio paired with just the right temperature. Lately I’ve been drinking white wine and I really like the Selaks which is dry and crisp!

Not a lot of seating for people who are hefty. Booth tables don’t move to accommodate large people. Chairs for tables are not designed to be comfortable for a larger frame.

This was my first time at Chop Steakhouse and the experience was very good. The waiters were super attentive, polite, and made some excellent recommendations. The food was really good, I did find the steak bites to be chewy but everything else was amazing. Especially the birria spring rolls and the peach desert that they have with the ice cream, amazing. The crab cakes too, are a must have. I’d definitely come back again.

The entire staff here always goes above and beyond, which really adds to the overall experience. For mains, we had the 7 oz filet with peppercorn sauce and the Avocado Super Bowl with chicken. Both dishes were prepared perfectly and arrived right on time. The filet, in particular, was a standout—tender, juicy, and cooked exactly to order. We wrapped up the night with an espresso and a small crème brûlée—simple, classic, and delicious.
