The food was exquisite. The menu changes, but will share our favorites: arancini, foie gras(omg-heavenly melt in your mouth), pork tenderloin, sea bass. Sadly the onion(?) tart appetizer didn't land for me. I would say the food reminded me of Michelin meals I had in France: delicate, exquisite, refined but also grounded in local, seasonal, fresh produce and meats. There is pure talent in these dishes. Will return happily. The price is commensurate with the quality of what you receive. Dish portions are appropriate. The foie gras for instance is one cracker sized however that one small portion has a world of flavors and delicate textures and richness. You won't want more, it's perfect. Note to restaurant, I suggest more comfortable seating. A 55+ couple celebrating an anniversary should not be seated on the same side of a table in a booth seat with poor support. I liked the coziness but not facing each other and not having proper back support was an uncomfortable distraction. Would rather face each other than the hallway. Note to diners, other diners were very, very casually dressed - as in shorts and dirty shoes or sandals. So dress up if you like, or don't. We were the only dressed-up couple. Typical Boulder snubbing of proper dress. The restaurant is also warm(in Summer),not a/c cold like in the SE of the US. Truly fabulous culinary experience, with personable and professional service. It is a small, cozy, boutique style restaurant. Not clanky, loud, boisterous though at times the very tasteful piped music seemed loud, and the couple from Wyoming next to us had booming voices, lol, go figure. Highly recommend Bramble and Hare. Can't wait to return.
