Came with family on New Year’s Day. Food was pretty good, we were all satisfied with our meals. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. The overall service was a bit slow though and the prices are pretty high. The ambiance is amazing, very bright and nice.

Food was good but the restaurant inside was kind of dirty. The bathrooms were not clean and that’s important. They need to throw a bottle of bleach in those bathrooms. Parking is horrible as well. Good luck with parking.

Went on a Monday at 7:45, waited 6 mins to be seated. Had the choice of high tops, bar, or booth. Chose high tops. Ordered and old fashion and camila. Which were both great drinks. Camila is coconut rum pineapple juice agave and lime juice. So amazing comes with a green leaf and dried pineapple. It’s like a pina colada. Then for appetizer Maduros $10 Fried sweet plantain, sour cream, queso fresco, and cilantro. It was a 4/10 it was alright. Then for entree Bistek Alteño $35 Grilled skirt steak with chorizo, pico de gallo, chihuahua cheese, roasted potatoes, onions, and poblano peppers. This was a 10/10 had it medium and it was so amazing full of flavor and so soft to chew. My partner had New York $45 Grilled 18oz New York prime steak demi-glace, roasted cherry tomatoes, cipollini onions, string cut fries.which for him was a 8/10 he liked mine better said his needed a little bit more flavor. But still enjoyed it even the next day. For desert we had the flan it was so amazing and creamy 10/10 and it was $9. All in all the total came out to $135 and the total experience was a 8/10. The service could have been better and it was our anniversary and they didn’t say anything and I had put it in the reservation. Also they were out of basically all the deserts.

This was our first time at this restaurant and let me just tell you, it was an amazing experience! Marco was a on point with all of his suggestion. We followed all of them and were not disappointed. We had to short ribs and gnocchi and salmon. We were skeptical about the goat cheese cheesecake but it was delish! The service was top-notch! We will definitely be back soon.

The Mecca is like the ultimate sports bar with an enormous theater size screen carrying the featured event of the moment, and high energy music pumping throughout the space. Like a sports bar, you don't really go there for the food, so don't expect incredibly executed deliciousness on every plate. The food is pretty standard pub fare of the deep-fried, high-calorie variety. The drink selection offers a range of local craft and national name-brand beers, wine and quick-prep or ready-made cocktails. They do offer four different kid's plates, which was nice. All-in-all, a really good spot in the Deer District to get pumped up for a Bucks game at Fiserv Forum, and possibly to go to view a big event on the giant screen with a whole bunch of other fans.

We highly recommend the Friday fish fry. Generous portions and delicious. More important was the service. Karen and Lawrence, the only two serving most all the customers, were fantastic. They engaged the customers with their smiles, great attitudes and made everyone feel like we were one big family. It was one of the most relaxing, happiest, and friendly dining experiences we've had in a long time. Thanks Karen and Lawrence....we'll be back soon!
