I've been going to blind faith since it was a cafeteria down the street in the 1970's. It's just gotten better over the years. The food is absolutely fantastic for vegetarians, vegans and everyone who likes good food. It's our go to place for special occasions, or when the walnut loaf appears on the menu in the fall which it did this weekend. A special shout out to our waiter who was so friendly, attentive and just a delight...great service added so much to our fantastic meal. My favorite restauratnanever disappoints.

I ordered the al pastor de pollo/chicken tacos and they were delicious! I would've loved some extra heat, but it was just enough spice to give great flavor. I came in for lunch on a weekday and it wasn't super crowded, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The vibes overall were great as the decor was very cute and the drinks were fantastic!

The food was delicious, and I appreciated the opportunity to choose a keto friendly dish. The keto bowl is quite tasty, and very unique! It’s nice that there are a variety of proteins available for this dish. I do wish there were more keto friendly options, but having this one is definitely a plus. Our server, Robert, was, as always, very attentive and quite friendly. Unfortunately, because of the rain, we had to dine indoors, which can be very loud. I love the patio area, though. Overall, I would label this a neighborhood gem!

We got a chance to try the new fall menu and all the vegetable dishes were outstanding. Chef Zimmerman and his team’s mastery of spice is phenomenal. The dressing on the Tahini salad was something we would eat everyday if it was in a bottle. The Mole sauce with the mushroom Tamale was out of this world good and the paneer Kofta was one of the best Indian dishes we have ever had (and we’ve been to both India and Michelin starred Indian restaurants, as well as many neighborhood ones across Chicago). While we’ve enjoyed Proxi for many years the way the vegetable courses were sequenced is the first time it hit us that the standout quality of the Proxi team is the mastery of “spice” across a such a range of the world’s cuisines in a way that just flows from one dish to the next (as a vegetarian, not sure how that plays in the meat dishes, but I’d highly recommend as a vegetarian). Speaking of sequencing, our waiter was outstanding. We ordered individual dishes off the menu (vs the tasting) as we had tickets for the opera. We let our server know we wanted to be done by 6:30pm and the last course came out at 6:15 and I was signing the bill at 6:28pm! The service was well paced and we truly appreciate being able to get a great meal in more quickly than we normally would without feeling rushed for an evening event. Well done and we’ll definitely be back for a more leisurely dinner to savor the flavors of this menu.

My wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary there. I ordered the NY Strip and she ordered the Filet,delicious! I also had 2 Black Manhattans, marvelous! The meal was so good I left my card there. They contacted us before we made it back to our hotel. I walked back and apologized for any inconvenience that may have caused. They were great and we can’t wait until our next trip back to Chicago. We’ll be definitely going back. Thank you!

Brought our brother-in-law who was in town and it surpassed our expectations. The food was delicious! We shared family style for the three of us the large Caesar salad, crispy Brussels sprouts, the loaf of garlic bread where they pour the melted garlic butter on top. The spaghetti and meatballs and burrata lasagna were so good. The pasta was cooked to perfection. We finished with the Tiramisu which was enough for four people. The ambience and decor was fun and set the right mood. I would definitely recommend my friends and family come back as the value for the meal and drinks was unbelievable!

Osteria via stato is one of my favorite places to go when I’m in Chicago. Every meal I’ve had here has been top notch and last night was no different. I had a wonderful hand rolled pasta with fennel sausage, spinach and tomatoes. I added ciabatta bread for dipping and of course - a glass or two of wine. Aldo was my server and he was delightful.

Everything was fine, as usual, but we went to Wildfire yesterday, and inadvertently got the scratch off number for Big Bowl. Our waitress helped us find the correct scratch off , and told us we could use the Big Bowl one the next day (today) at Big Bowl. To be sure, we called the restaurant before we dined here today, and we were told we could use yesterday’s code today. This was not true, and we are hoping that Big Bowl’s manager could resolve this issue tomorrow when Lettuce Corporate is open. We are Gold members and have not used any scratch off for Big Bowl.

I just felt like going out to dinner and made a reservation that morning for 6pm that day. Great decision for the 3 of us - for my husband, adult son, who was visiting us, and me. Food was outstanding, as was the service (Nick was great!). We had the bruschetta de prosciutto, pear salad, ravioli (lobster & mascarpone), pappardelle, mixed greens and 1 "classic" tiramissu (very different from what we typically get elsewhere).

We had a reservation for 7:45 and didn’t get seated for at least 30 minutes but when we did, we were given 2 free appetizers, a free round of Prosecco for both of us, and free dessert for the two of us at the end. That goes a long way with me. Overall extremely satisfied and will be coming back.

This restaurant was recommended by our Air BNB hosts and it really delivered! Food was delicious, people watching was great and the patio was AMAZING. The only thing I'd warn potential customers - the restaurant has a very young, hip crowd so the music was very loud. This worked GREAT for my 23 year old son and 24 year old nephew, but not so much for my 81 year old mother. Get ready for more of a bar vibe than a quiet restaurant and you'll have a great time!

It was another fantastic dinner at Maple & Ash, the best restaurant in Chicago. Michael’s service was first rate. The hospitality of the entire crew was on display throughout my meal. Our last trip to Antico Posto was disappointing. The revised menu is a pleasant surprise. We shared chicken meatballs (really delish) and fried calamari (also yummy) for appetizers. Dinner entree included the special risotto with sausage, shrimp linguine, porcini ragu gnocchi, and sausage ragu cavettelli. All delicious, though the sausage ragu was too sweet according to the food expert who ordered it. We will be back to be sure it's a permanent improvement. And our server was excellent, so I am sorry I did not ask her name.

A friend and I got together for lunch today. Neither of us had been to the restaurant before. We were greeted by our very friendly waitress. We talked for some time and she did not pressure us to order. After about half an hour we ordered and the food was delivered quickly. The food was very good. Both of us would go back another time.

This is one of the best restaurants if not the best in Evanston! We love it here and as a celiac they are sensitive to dietary restrictions. Do yourself a favor, dine here and expand your notion of thai food. There is a lot of love in this place from food to service and leave room for dessert!

Asparagus soup was fabulous. It was soooo good a “to-go” container was ordered to take home. Same for my 2 fellow diners. The ahi tuna salads were also fabulous. Waiter was very friendly and provided great service. Atmosphere was very pleasant and conducive for great conversation with friends.

Great place to watch any game ! They had one TV put on for us so we could also watch the Fever playoff game (Caitlin Clark) while also watching the Bears and other NFL games. Tim, our server, was a delight. So funny and gave great recommendations. We got the cheese curds and that gave us life! Drink specials on Sundays are also really good with domestics or nutrls buckets.

Finally made it to Dawson’s! Such a great place and will definitely return. We enjoyed the French onion soup, fish n chips and beef stroganoff. Was hoping the stroganoff noodles were more of an “Amish” style fatter noodle but the dish was quite tasty. Will return with friends soon!

Another great dinner at Rosewood! I was there t o celebrate my birthday with family. As always, our server was exceptional. Macy did an outstanding job keeping up with us. Whe was very attentive and professional. She was always smiling and happy to meet our every need. The food, as always was fabulous. The buffalo chicken rolls were as wonderful as always. We also had the pig in a blanket and Burrata..delicious! I had the delminico rib eye that was cooked to absolute perfection accompanied by asparagus and the corn salad. Both were terrific! Everyone raved about their meals too and that their steaks were also cooked just as they asked. Spdesserts were indulgent! Triple chocolate cake and salty caramel cheesecake! A great to ending to a great meal!

This was my 1st time here. It was enjoyable. The atmosphere was not quiet, but not loud. Like, I heard you talking, but I don't know what you were saying. The service was great 👍🏾 Our waitress was super cool. Everything we asked her opinion for, she was locked and loaded with her thoughts on it. I loved it. It just makes me feel better when staff can be honest and give their thoughts on dishes and drinks they've tried. I had a Cesar salad for my appetizers. It was ok. The lettuce could have been much better! There was a lot of dressing on it but it didn't taste too dry. My biggest complaint is the dated lettuce. Soooooo, they have like a regular menu and a seasonal menu. I ordered the ribs / fried chicken combo with shoestring fries. The ribs were ok. Clearly, not the best, but they satisfied my hunger. I'm not a shoestring fry person, but these were seasoned very well, which made me eat all of them. The fried chicken, however, was burnt. It looked extra crispy on 1 side, but I flipped it, and it was a blackened crisp! Yuck. Needless to say, I sent it back. Here's why I still give 4 stars 🌟 I ate the new chicken for lunch today, and it was delicious 😋 All is forgiven. My friends ordered the burger and fries. They were ok.

As always, food was excellent. Salad greens were crisp, halibut prepared to perfection, Creme Brule with a perfect texture and glaze. Samantha was courteous and engaging, attentive but not obtrusive.

The chicken sandwich that I had was super. The chicken was juicy, the lightning sauce was yummy, and the combination of flavors was delicious. I don’t usually eat fried chicken but this sandwich was outstanding. We shared the cauliflower with lightning sauce before ordering our entrees, so I knew I wanted something with that sauce- it had just the right spiciness!! And our waitress was friendly and efficient. If I ever get back to Cincinnati, I’d surely stop here to eat.

Great server, location and food was delicious, but the French fries served with burgers was the smallest order I’ve ever seen. They need to throw more fries on the plates.
