We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Chandlers and enjoyed every minute of it! Our waiter, Ryan was so attentive and personable. We never felt rushed and he always checked back to see how we liked everything. We had a great bottle of Northwest wine - Sleight of Hand Cabernet with our perfectly cooked steaks and of course the chocolate soufflé for dessert. A perfect dinner!

Christopher’s did not disappoint at all! Busy night in College Station after a football game, and we were seated as a party of 8 immediately. Michael was our waiter and he was excellent. He covered all the bases and was very attentive without being excessive. The food was outstanding with large portions and excellent presentations. The bill was very reasonable for the quality provided and as we exited virtually every Christopher’s employee we passed had an appreciative comment for us. The meal was amazing. We loved the seasonal salad, the Tuscan style bread, the lobster raviolis, the beef tenderloin. Down side: portions are small, and the butter rum cake did really taste like butter rum cake. We will definitely go back. I loved the rose wine, and the sancere. Both were smooth tasting. Native son Humphrey Folk, Jr. was a prominent and shrewd developer, whose hard work carried him all over the country, cultivating his sincere appreciation of food and fine wine.

Undaunted by a complete lack of restaurant or culinary experience, he decided to convert a quaint and intimate house into a small eatery. His peers offered little encouragement, so he added the word “folly” to his own name, and Memphis’ Original Prime Steak House was born.

With only a gentleman's handshake to signify agreement, Humphrey Folk welcomed famed Memphis restaurateur Thomas Boggs as managing partner of Folk's Folly in 2003.

This is our favorite restaurant in town, and we have never been disappointed. The quality, flavor and presentation is Michelin star deserving. Pellana's is absolutely wonderful. It is a great place to celebrate a special occasion. The food and service are aways outstanding. They have the best staff they are very knowledgeable and friendly. Always a perfectly, proper, upscale dining experience. Excellent, attentive service by Alexis. Thank you. Spectacular lake and downtown view. Wonderful live piano music in the bar and great service and drinks by Pam. And the main reason we love it? The food is consistently incredible. The swordfish, one mildly spiced and two simply prepared were perfectly cooked, moist and delicious. Highly recommend all the above.

The food and staff at Salt are absolutely amazing in every way! We have been to Salt countless times and have never been disappointed. The staff are most friendly and accommodating - we always feel welcomed here. The one difference we noted this time over our previous dining experiences is the high level of noise from the speakers used by the guitarist making it difficult to have a quiet dinner conversation not to mention difficulty hearing the servers and not particularly appropriate in our opinion for a five star restaurant.

Celebrating a birthday at Sorrento’s in Houston was an exquisite experience filled with rich flavors and attentive service. We started the evening with a glass of Amarone Monte Zovo wine and a lemon drop cocktail—both perfectly crafted, setting a sophisticated tone for the night. For appetizers, the Soft Polenta & Jumbo Lump Crab Cake was divine, balancing textures and flavors beautifully. The mains did not disappoint. My Herbed Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna, while deliciously seasoned, was slightly overcooked. However, the Pan Seared Filet of Branzino that my date ordered was a hit—perfectly prepared, and the flavors were incredible. To top off the meal, the desserts were a true indulgence. The Double Chocolate Cake with White Moscato Praline Sauce and Vanilla Gelato was presented beautifully, a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. The House Made Tiramisu, accompanied by a decadent Chocolate Truffle, was the perfect ending—a classic done with flair. Overall, Sorrento’s provided a fantastic atmosphere and memorable dining experience, ideal for special occasions. While the Ahi Tuna could have been cooked a touch less, the attentive service and superb quality of the other dishes made it a night to remember. Highly recommended for a refined celebration!

The restaurant setting was excellent and unique. Our server, Katie, was nothing less than exceptional. The manager even stopped by and asked us how everything was. Everything was excellent, including the playlist of music. I will definitely go back for any special occasions. We went there for my wife’s birthday, and I had requested a cupcake with a candle, but we were given a nice 6 inch layered birthday cake bravo !!

Another wonderful experience from Vivace. Our server Bella was wonderful. The drinks (martinis) were terrific, the pours are generous, and they dont break the bank. There are other restaurants in the area that are gouging the higher end liquor which provide the restaurants higher margins. Not here they are really trying to provide value and want you to come back. Check prices locally to see the difference. Dinner was excellent as usual. I had the salmon over angel with rock shrimp, portion was fabulous another value. My partner had the tenderloin, and it was perfect and the mashed potatoes were some of the best I have had. Desert was awesome, the fondue we had was semi-sweet chocolate with vanilla gelato smothered in almonds. Because we were celebrating a birthday they comped the desert. Think they want us back? One of the best restaurants of the area, they continue to prove they care about the customer. They always make sure we feel important and find value in the experience, as well as providing great food and atmosphere! No brainer for Italian in Tucson.
