It was a great dining experience! My son who turned 18 last week picked this place for dinner. I can not say anything bad because everything was gooood! We got the garlic edamame, wagu tacos, baked salmon roll, and the baked roasted salmon. We will definitely be coming back to KAVIAR :)

For years we have gone to the JW Marriott but the experience at the Omni was a 1000% better. We were not rushed. Previously at the Marriott it was always chaos and over-crowded. The Omni had an amazing kids section which kept our nephew busy and fed while we could enjoy our meal. The food selection was fantastic and the staff was so kind and excited we were there. A+ for Thanksgiving Dinner.

The only bad thing was that were seated outside under a trellis. A pigeon messed up on our table from overhead on a beam and then later I got splashed on my shirt by one sitting on a different beam So don't sit under that structure if you can help it.

We had a lovely meal last night in gas lamp district at Ill Sogno restaurant. The live music with Roman Palacios was outstanding. The scampi diabolo pasta dish was delicious and the sauce was unique and very flavorful as were the crab cakes. Only one drawback the pasta was cut in smaller pieces ( like for children) which made eating them a bit awkward. Tip> All long pasta should be never be cut in the kitchen. Of course we will return for another wonderful evening of live music.

For years, Lino Pertusini, owner of Osteria D'Assisi, wanted to do justice to pizza in this country. So when the opportunity to open Pizzeria & Trattoria Da Lino presented itself, he jumped at the chance to create authentic wood oven pizza from the freshest ingredients available. In addition, Lino's son Alexander, Zymurist, offers handcrafted small-batch brews at the new Chili Line Brewing Co., specializing in smoked beers.

One block from the Santa Fe Plaza on Guadalupe Street offers a full menu of pasta, salads, gelato, extensive wine, and beer produced on-site. Gluten-free and vegan options are available.

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of attending Clockwork Rose Tea’s annual Charles Dickens Tea, and it was absolutely enchanting! From the moment we walked through the door, we were transported to a whimsical world steeped in holiday charm and Victorian elegance. The ambiance was thoughtfully curated, blending old-world Dickensian charm with a unique steampunk twist. Every detail, from the beautifully set tables to the perfectly themed decor, added to the immersive experience. The tea service itself was impeccable. The selection of teas was diverse and expertly brewed, offering something for every palate. The food was a true work of art — delicate, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Each course felt like a delightful surprise, with creative touches that made the experience unforgettable. What truly set the experience apart was the warm and welcoming staff. Their passion for creating a memorable event was clear, and their exceptional service made us feel like honored guests in a Dickensian story come to life. It is a travesty that this restaurant is closing. It's a fantastic venue with delicious food and great service. We need more places like this and less chain restaurants! We've spent several birthdays, anniversaries, special occasions, and numerous "just because" dates here; we're just incredibly sad that this was our last meal here. So many memories... It's really a crying shame that crappy downtown restaurants are supported, and finer dining places with inventive entrees, quality ingredients and exceptional service aren't. Farewell, Stanza. It's been an absolute pleasure to have had so many meals here.

We are very sad to hear that Promesa will be closing. This was the first time we attended and were planning on making it a regular outing. We love tapas restaurants and family style dining as we are a large group.
