I came in for a celebration dinner with my family recently. While I have been to Alla Vita a few times, I was completely stunned at just how special the manager Jo and our waitress Brie made the evening for us. The food is always amazing, the professionalism of the staff was top notch, and both Jo and Brie thought of every detail to make the night special and memorable. With the exception of one item, everything else was perfectly delicious. My only issue was with the butter lettuce salad with the beloved mustard vinaigrette. I’ve dined at this restaurant for years and while I did eat the salad, it consisted of only the dark green more bitter outer leaves of butter lettuce. They were tough and bitter, and there were no baby sweet delicate tasting lettuce leaves from the inner part of the lettuce head.

Everything tasted good. The restaurant was also completely empty at this time since it had just opened up, so the noise level was very low. I made a reservation on OpenTable but honestly you can probably just do a walk in any day between 5-6pm and still get seated.

We were 30 minutes We had 2 family members surprise us and they accommodated our party of 6. ALL staff were so friendly.
