The bacon wrapped dates are amazing!! Great service and great food.
Staff was very friendly. All six members in our party were very pleased with their meals. We would definitely go here again!!
Food was wonderful. Service was great. Made an error on one of the dishes but had it fixed immediately. It was really nice and quiet. The late after dinner was perfect.
The food was delicious and the service was amazing! We were a group of 10 and we never had to wait for our server. She was phenomenal and I never refilled my own glass of wine once - she was on top of everything!
Good and great food
Great food and service. Must stop in Toronto.
Excellent primo and Osso bucco. Dirty water glass I changed myself after server poured water into it. Server did not tell me about changes to dessert menu when ordering panna cotta and got strawberry topping instead of which I am not fond. A different Server, however, apologized when I asked about it, and replaced it with tiramisu but I did not ever see my waitress again. I was charged anyway for unsatisfactory dessert. Strong start, impressive ambience but weak, lazy finish to my experience there.
The service was great. My wife and I shared an antipasto board and it was excellent. She had the Chicken Parmesan and it was tender and very flavorful. I had the Cioppino and it was a delight - very flavorful and full of seafood. I had a little sorbet and it was very flavorful and tart. Regina had the Riccota Fritters and I was jealous - they were amazing. Not sure when I will be in Toronto again - but I know one of the places I will be eating.
I go to Little Anthony's regularly and the food and service are of a very high quality and it is very convenient for business meetings.
We were in town for the Rotary International Convention and wanted to find a good Italian restaurant near the Hilton downtown. LA's was the perfect choice! We ate there twice in our 6 day visit to Toronto. Excellent choices, reasonable prices and super service! Booked using Open Table which was fast and efficient. Staff made you feel a home!
Highly recommend pasta with clams and the shrimp scampi. All courses were delicious. Nice atmosphere and great service.
Having to wait in excess of 2 hours and the waitress disappearing was appalling. The only saving grace was a manager in training explaining they lost a cook, and stepping in to do the simplest of things like being out the bread, refill our drinks, bring out the entrees 1 hour after they were ordered, then bringing out fresh coffee and tiramisu for my Birthday Celebration. If not for him, we’d have had no service... which had no bearing in “we lost a cook!” But the icing in the cake.. waiting 20 mins with no one showing up with the bill, and finally having to ask another waiter to bring out the Manager. She was most gracious and understanding.. and after listening to my complaints, comped the meal. I’ll not be going back anytime soon...
We enjoyed our meal. I liked mine better than my spouse liked his. The chopping was delicious but could have used more seafood. Server was friendly and helpful but rushed.
Great for a family event!
Very nice meal will return
Very loud. Could hardly hear conversation between myself and the person across the table from me. There was an after work group party that was quite loud which raised the noisel to an uncomfortable level
Being from out of town I try to get local's recommendations on places to eat in the city. I was not disappointed with this recommendation. The food was fantastic and the wine list was great. Would definitely go back when visiting from out of town again.
This is the 3rd time I've been to Little Anthony's and it won't be the last. Cozy and comfortable seating, wonderful service by Michelle and lovely wine selection. Steak was fantastic and Osso Buco was fall of the bone delicious. Thank you for a delightful evening
Great restaurant. Everyone was friendly and responsive. The food came quickly and was delicious. The music was a bit incongruous with the atmosphere (a mix of old Motown hits), but not enough to detract from the overall experience. Would definitely eat here again.
Excellent food and service. Never disappoints.
Our waitress was amazing but run of her feet as the restaurant was understaffed though it was a “ballet” evening. Though she managed to get us fed and out in time, we could not help but feel her stress as she literally ran the main course to our table.
This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant. It just doesn't impress me enough to recommend it to anyone. I do think it is a little over priced.
What a delight to find a restaurant within a few blocks of Roy Thomson Hall that does not feature 'factory food', too much noise and pushes the drinks. It was our first time at Little Anthony's and we found the service to be excellent -- attentive and friendly without being clingy -- the food was prepared with care by real chefs and the décor and ambience of the room were just right. We could actually talk to each other without shouting. The only downside was the high price of the wines. We will definitely return!
It's a nice restaurant, I have been there couple of times. It was first time with my wife. Nice ambience, good food, and good service.
I selected the reason for dinner as 'date' still the lady at the entrance gave us a bigger table instead of a smaller table, even though the tables for just 2 people were empty. I hope they pay more attention to the requests included in the open table request.
Server was nice.
My daughter and I had a very special birthday dinner before going to see Anna Bolena at the Four Seasons Centre...excellent food...service and ambiance was wonderful! One of my favourite places for a special occasion!
The food is good but the portions are too small for an Italian restaurant. Unfortunately, our family was still a little hungry after leaving so we had to grab food elsewhere. This surprised us as we ordered full sized meals for our two young children. The full order portion was smaller than most kids sized portions elsewhere. I have eaten at LA’s many times for lunch and the portions are perfect lunch-sized portions. I was a little surprised to see dinner meals the same size. Or perhaps it is the same menu for lunch. Overall, I would not recommend it as a restaurant do people who are hungry at dinner time.
"Everything went well from ease of reservation booking, ambience, our specials selection (racks of lamb), attentive and helpful food server (Jason), and value. We will return."
Food, service and atmosphere great as I have come to be accustomed with at Little A’s.
This was my 2nd time dining at this restaurant since 2 years ago. The atmosphere and service were great. Quality of food was at the same level as before as soon as I can remember.
This time We ordered the best bruschetta there at Little Anthony and it becomes my favourite. It was very tasteful with the right among of ingredients. One of the best I experienced so far in GTA. The linguine vongole was delicious. The same goes to the minestrone.
Overall we will return to this restaurant. Probably try their lunch menu next time.
A wonderful evening!! This restaurant consistently serves amazing food and the service is impeccable. I would recommend it for a special date night or an evening out for friends.
My favourite dish is linguine vongole and it never disappoints. Their food is high quality and it is consistent. It is a bit spicy which I love. Highly recommend.
ALways like the atmosphere - table clothes napkins, good service, hot food
I have been to LA's many times over the last 20 years or so and I was happy to be able to get a table for 10 - especially in the front section (separated by a curtain). We had some antipasto and bruschetta for the table, many ordered the shrimp appetizer and raved about it, others had appetizers as well.
For dinner guests ordered a variety from osso bucco to pasta and without exception everyone was happy. Service was excellent and even with several bottles of wine, coffee and dessert the bill was highly reasonable. Of course I'll be back and I think it's time I took my husband!
Great service even better food, we ordered a variety of items and all were excellent
We went with her entire family for our 20th anniversary, the service was excellent and the food was even better. The dishes didn't have a bunch of food, but it was amazing food. I would go again anytime
Been here several times for dinner with friends. (Up to 10). Food is delicious (linguine Vongole is a group favourite), and service is always consistently attentive. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Our server was Michelle Grassi. What a gem and amazing asset to your restaurant. She was very attentive, extremely helpful with the menu. She certainly added to an amazing evening.
Excellent experience as usual- consistently great food and service
Twice a year, I come to Toronto from New York to attend Opera Atelier at the Elgin Theatre, with a good friend. Little Anthony’s Italian Ristorante is our favorite “go to “ place for dinner before the opera. The service is terrific, the ambience wonderful, the food delicious! This is the perfect restaurant to go to when celebrating- or, just before attending the opera!
Had lunch with friends. Found menu a little pricey. Lunch specials would be welcome. We attend pre theater ballet dinners which offer special table haute pricing which we enjoy
