Great downtown spot for lunch and dinner when in Toronto on business. never fails to satisfy
This restaurant was disappointing especially after reading the reviews on Open Table. There was confusion about our reservation, food was not served hot and I would describe as the quality as fair and the service was not attentive. Given the price of the meal I wished I had gone elsewhere with so many great places to eat in Toronto.
Excellent atmosphere. The service and food were perfect.
Great little restaurant for pre-dinner or a date. Very cosy but elegant!
Welcoming guys at the entrance were very cheerful and great. Table servers need to work in being a bit nicer and show a smile here and there.
Food was great and delicious.
Noise level was fine just right.
Very nice spot. Love the linen tablecloths. Good variety on the menu. Courteous and attentive but not intrusive service.
Going to this nice restaurant and sitting in a quiet area was a great start which was quickly changed. A senior couple obviously with their grandchildren were seated right beside us. These two five-year-old kids were yelling and screaming ( having fun like all kids do) at this nice restaurant is not my idea of having a nice quiet supper with my wife. This was very disappointing. We left immediately after the the supper with no coffee of dessert.
Of course, the Food and service was amazing as always.
Dave Duguay.
Service is good , staff are very friendly. Food is excellent
I made a reservation on Open Table which was super easy.
I came in and was greeted promptly and seated at my table. The dining room is medium sized, so probably good to make a reservation - especially for a weekday lunch.
Our server was incredibly friendly and made us smile.
I came here with a friend for a weekday lunch. We were surprised at how quick the meals came out.
My friend had a caesar salad. It was a good size, with fresh bacon and parmasean. She said it was average tasting though.
I had the veal marsala. It was delicious, with several pieces of veal and lots of mushrooms. It was light on the carbs (i.e. there were none), but there was fresh homemade bread provided.
Our server was very attentive and took time to explain menu as it was our first time there the appatizers were fantastic and the pasta was great it was a lovely relaxing night
Really good service, ambiance and food. For a fancy restaurant the price seemed pretty normal. Only complaint is the serving sizes were small.
Great service - very accommodating, followed by great food definitely will go back.
Dinner and service was outstanding.
I had the carbonara and it was very good.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Salmon dish was delicious. Would definitely return.
Love coming here before the ballet!
Great location, food, service.
Nice quick dinner before the Ballet.
Very pleased. Service was excellent, as was the food. Seating was comfortable, and the noise level was low so we were able to enjoy good conversation without having to shout as most restaurants seem to be like these days. I would rank the Caesar salad here as one of my favorite Caesar salads — it was dressed perfectly. My Osso Buca was very nice as well.
The number of guests in our party kept changing as two couldn’t come at the last minute due to work obligations. So we were put at a table better suited to our numbers. Half way through the meal, one guest was able to get away from the office and showed up. The servers quickly and seamlessly added another spot at our table.
I will definitely return. It was a lovely evening. Great food. Great service.
but this is a qualified "yes" ...I went to the restaurant a couple weeks ago with some friends and we had an amazing dinner....food and service excellent...so this week recommended to another friend we go there...well the food was still good ...but the service on this night was TERRIBLE....worst service I have had in an upscale restaurant possibly ever...there was a "trainee" on that night but not sure who was worse - the trainee or the trainer...they were so discombobulated and repeating and stepping on each other further confusing us as to who we gave our orders to ??..mixing our orders up...crashing plates and glasses at table beside us...barging in and interrupting our conversation repeatedly through the night...bringing me the wrong dessert but I just took it as did not want to go through anymore delays...did not bother to ask if we wanted coffee or tea.....was tempted to give nothing for a tip ...but goes against my grain....still gave a tip but would be hesitant to go again or recommend in the future.
The service is good, the food is well prepared but the portions are small and the prices are a little high relative to what is served.
This is the third time I have dined at Little Anthony's and was disappointed that they no longer offer smaller portions of their pasta dishes. That was the reason we would return year after year, since many of us have smaller appetites. The food is delicious - just too much! And as conference delegates only in Toronto for the weekend, we cannot take leftovers with us, so food is wasted. Also, we were surprised that the server did not ask but bought a bill for the entire group and we had to ask for separate checks.
Food is great and so is the ambience :) great place to have lunch.
Had another wonderful dinner here, service is exceptional, absolutely no complaints
We booked Little Anthony's essentially because it's Italian and we were going to see Turandot close by. I had been there once before. They had a pre-theatre special on. The ambiance was lively with different levels of seating and interaction. My wife loved everything we was served, so a higher (excellent) rating for her experience is warranted. Apart from the dessert, which was very good, my own selections from the fixed menu ranged from okay (Caesar salad) and sub-par (Chicken parmigiana) . The latter appeared burnt. So I would have ordered the alternative had I known: salmon. The server was friendly and adequate. I would probably recommend it to someone in a similar circumstance to ours... More broadly, I am uncertain.
Delicious food - quiet and comfortable ambience that made it easy to talk. Outstanding gracious service.
Actually, I'd rate it a 4.5. The food was really good (Atlantic salmon, fresh, cooked to perfection). Food and drink were a little slow initially, and the staff wasn't terribly friendly or attentive, but still the whole experience was enjoyable.
This restaurant never fails to deliver - excellent food, nice staff, proximity to Four Seasons Centre.
I love it!
We loved Little Anthony's ...food was great..ambiance and location are perfect for a pre or post show or concert or opera.
We've been to Little Anthony's twice this past week. The food is reliably excellent, the servers friendly and completely professional, the ambience cosy and welcoming.
All round a great night out... food was delicious and service fabulous... perfect for a group night out.
Delicious pasta and great variety! The desert was decent too!!!
Goos food, courteous staff ... very accommodating ! Thanks
Food tasteless. Lobster negligible in aSea of pasta.
Martini great.
Everything was mediocre except the price which was high
Food was really good. Ordered the Strozzapreti Genovese. Only downside is there isnt a big enough portion to justify the price.
Hi,
I have been to Little Anthony's many times and each time it is excellent in all areas. On Saturday I ordered the chicken from the Theater menu, and my rating is low there was nothing about the dish that made it special. It was simply a large portion of chicken with a large portion of cheese that was in a large hunk in the middle of the plate surrounded by the spaghetti. Not to be mean but I guess I am - sorry, but it was a meal that was flavourless. It simply did not meet the high levels of food experiences I have had in the past.
The soup was tasty but arrived luke-warm.
I WILL come back and it the lesson to be learned not to order from the Theater menu?
My friend had the Ceaser salad (it was not finished) and the salmon, which was wonderful.
Best value in Toronto during our visit. No rush in service or getting you out the door. Top quality service and food our server 10star review. (Hugo)!
The food was fabulous but the service was a little bitter and not very attentive
We had a great evening!
Loved the wine, the bacon wrapped dates!!! The main dishes ! So good!
Service was excellent, with very friendly staff from the moment we walked in, until we left. We definitely dine here again.
Grazie

Nice open, tables spread out nicely, no loud music, good service, friendly and welcoming. The food was very good and pasta dishes served nice and hot.
