From the moment we arrived into the restaurant we were so impressed with the staff. Everyone was so pleasant, attentive and personable. The food was exceptional from our seafood and salad appetizers to our main courses and dessert. We all finished everything on our plates which is uncommon for us. It was our mom’s 80th and we were given a glass of champagne as a congratulations upon our arrival. It is obvious how much the staff enjoy their job and how well they must be treated and respected. Beyond a 5 star experience! Thank you from all of us!!!

LIV was an incredible experience.. Everything was perfect. Food was delicious, portions huge, taste, great. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend this for any occasion. Everything at White Oaks is superior. Worth every dollar spent.

Was great but was surprised that the vegan options were so limited for dinner. Lots of options for breakfast and at Play, but Liv only had one vegan main and no vegan dessert. They were accommodating but was a bit disappointing.

We went for a birthday dinner and were greeted with 2 complimentary glasses of champagne. That set the right tone for the evening, and after bread with spreads, an amuse bouche, and a palate cleanser, we were ready for the adventure of the meal. My husband ordered the t-bone steak, and I ordered duck. The food was excellent, and the steak was huge. After the cheesecake dessert, there were delicious mignardises. Service was also impeccable, and the whole evening felt like the special night out we were hoping for.

The food was so salty menu wasn't great nothing exciting about it and the music was putting me to sleep . Menu was very limited not many vegetables or fish. The oil the food was fried in was old and tasted off . Very disappointing especially because it used to be so good once upon a time.

the lamb was fantastic the beans that accompanied it seemed out of place. gave my wife serious gas and she was up twice during the night visiting the toilet. it's a shame that their menu is set with no substuitions. very limited appetisers. for the money i have a hard time saying it was all that. won't go back . cafe amore in st.catharines has better lamb dinner

This was our 2nd visit to the Liv restaurant and once again it did not disappoint. One of the many reasons we like it is because there is no loud music to drown out the conversation and the staff are welcoming and professional. This restaurant is on the expensive side but it checks all the boxes for us.

My wife and I frequent this establishment for breakfast. We were both very disappointed with the food quality. My bacon was so dry that I was unable to eat it without chipping a tooth. My bread had some sort of green muck (likely some sort of brown avocado) on the back. My wife ordered gluten free toast, which was an upcharge. She didn’t get to eat the toast. It was clearly burnt to a crisp. The above are all issues that were clear when looking at our plates. Our meals should have never left the kitchen looking the way they did. We know this is not the quality of food that a restaurant such a LIV adheres to. We are greatly disappointed and it’s unlikely that we will return in the near future. The service was great as usual. However, our server should have noticed the above and not served the plates.

3 of us for breakfast - 2 a la carte, 1 buffet. Buffet was a little disappointing (items didn't seem fresh and oatmeal was cold). Vegan Eggs Benny was delicious, kids' french toast was also excellent. Kid's meal excellent value (large portion, low price). Would definitely return again but skip the buffet.

Everything about this place was perfect. We came here for our anniversary and not only did they treat us well, they had several little touches to make our evening. We had to move our reservation back very late (flight delays), but our server was impeccable she never rushed us. The food was whimsical and delicious and the portion size more than justified the price. Come here for a truly romantic dinner.
