The food was delicious and service was pretty good. We were just a little taken aback that during brunch they put on very loud “club” music.
Very nice atmosphere. Our food came really quick. It was very tasty. Would definitely come back.
This was a great experience! I have never been to loca luna and it was great. The only thing that I was disappointed in was the food. I was expecting chips and salsa to be served (at no charge) and an entree. I had a small empanada and was still starving when I left. We had to go somewhere else to eat because we were still hungry. Other than wanting more food, it was amazing. I would definitely come back after I ate a full meal before hand! The vibe was really cool. The people were extremely friendly. The waiters were alert.
Great music! You should check this place out. The food is good, but the portions are too small. Overall , this place has a great ambiance!
It was great! Our waiter was awesome and answered all of our many questions.
Had a fun time here and the food options are great! Lots of different dishes depending on your mood. My favorite was the loaded chicken burrito! They had a live DJ playing EDM on a Sunday, would have liked the DJ to play Latin music because of the menu/venue theme. Fun time and would recommend this place for brunch once again!
Server was horrible and then he did 22% autogratuity, on our total bill AFTER tax. We only had 5 in our party plus a baby in a high chair. Had to ask 4 people for creamer for coffee. Food was excellent though.
Weve been to Local Luna before and always had a great experience. This one wasnt - but was our first time for brunch there. Place was not crowded but they could have been understaffed and definitely with it being a late night joint, maybe the servers were a bit tired. Nonetheless, service was very slow, food wasnt great - nasty eggs - but the crab cake benedict was pretty good as was the breakfast empanadas. Server worked with us to take off items that were added on and not ordered, but even the menu was changed from what was online for brunch - missing a bunch of items (biscuits and gravy; blueberry pancakes; fritattas (sp?) and it wasnt a "Mother's Day" change either. Overall still good ambiance, but wont be going back for brunch...
My parents came to town and me and my husband met them for dinner inside on the dance floor at Loca Luna to watch the band and eat. Our server, Oliver, was very attentive and the bartender, Matt, was so friendly and helpful. There was always someone available to clear our plates when we were finished. The food was quick and delicious. The band was awesome. The new manager, Eric, even came over and spoke to our table. We had a great time.
Had a great time. Good food and music. I'd recommend to a friend.
I've gone to Loca Luna many times before. I love the Tapa's and I love the atmosphere and music! Very lively!
I made a reservation for 10 during their Sunday brunch for my 29th birthday. I also asked to be near the DJ. At the last minute, I had extra guests and they accommodated me :) The food was amazing, their new chef makes delicious food. They even had hookah and bottomless drinks. Our server Tania was super sweet and took great care of us. Aisha, the bartender, also made sure we got a round of birthday shots :) Finally, a surprise - the DJ called me forward to break open my own piñata!! It was super fun and now my friends and I want to make this a monthly thing. Big thanks to the manager, Yobi, for making this extra special.
Great experience!! Our server was outstanding and the staff was able to accommodate our late arrival and brunch was Awesome.
The food was great the service was good. I definitely would return to try more dishes. The chicken empanadas qwas amazing and the mac and cheese was to die for. Service was well-timed and friendly, there we not great selections on frozen
drinks or non alcoholic drinks.the prices were affordable. Great date night overall.
I've visited Loca Luna on several different occasions but this was the first time that my guests had ever been and they really enjoyed themselves.
Loca Luna was an amazing experience! They were so fun and efficient. All of my friends said how awesome the food, band, and restaurant vibes were.
I would recommend however, would make it clear on your website on whether you have to reserve inside or outside and you have a 2 hour limit. It was my birthday Celebration but we were told we had to be out by 9pm...very disappointed
The hostess was nice and approachable. We were accommodated with seating quickly . Our server was friendly was was not engaging or checked on us. We spent most of the day looking for her and waving her Down.
This was our first time, not sure if this was how it supposed to be here. After placing our food order the food came out 1 at a time , for example: The waffle came out, then 15 mins later the bacon, then another 15 mins the crab cake. MY husband ordered French toast he only got crab cakes she never came to check on us when the food came. My friend got his waffle then right as the check came his bacon arrived and no apologies for its late arrival just the plate handed to him assuming hey we made it so you pay for it now!? We had sat there for a long time waiting for forks and utensils AFTER our food arrived. SHE NEVER bothered to explained the food list or like most restaurants ask if it was our first time. The non alcoholic drink was never refilled everything was SLOW AND WE WERE AFRAID TO ORDER MORE FOOD BECAUSE it would have taken forever or came out wrong. We tried to get help from the food runners and they were rude and replied “we can’t do anything kitchen is behind” OVERALL, NICE FUN ATMOSPHERE. Service was terrible & SLOW. We didn’t feel welcomed. THE DJ AND ATMOSPHERE SAVED this review.
This was the worst dinning experience I ever had here. my ribs had so much vinegar I could not eat them, the other tapas were poorly cooked and I think they were cooked long before we sat at the table and were not hot when we got them, the paella was notgood either, the tres leches cake tasted like it had been sitting in a dirty refrigerator for a month. Our waitress was missing in action for must of the evening and felt like he rather be somewhere else but he needs a job so he shows up to work just because...
Great food & great service by waiter Mario! Recommend coming later if you want to hear the band. Overall excellent experience.
Overall great experience. Will recommend to everybody wanting a good Saturday night spot with music.
This place never fails...
If I just absolutely had to complain about something, it would be that the drinks are $10 for 8 oz... the margaritas at La Parilla are AMAZING and 20 oz for same price.
But nothing tops the food, music and service!
I have been going Loca Luna for many years and have always enjoyed the music, live and DJ, atmosphere, service ,food , drinks and especially my server Ron( he's the BEST!). I always take my out of town family and friends and I have introduced it to many of my local friends. Everyone always loves it. I must admit that this visit for my daughters 30th. I noticed the tapas have gotten a bit pricey and with tiny not small portions. I will definitely like to keep Loca Luna as one of my favorites however I will patronize when I feel I'm getting more for my $...1/2 price tapas Wed.....
Thank you so much for letting us celebrate my birthday Here! I’ve been here a couple of times in the past but never ordered food and now I know if I want something appetizing before getting drinks, this is the spot where I can do it all. Eat drink and dance!
Terrible , very small portion , menu not traditional Mexican (not even nachos) .
We celebrated my aunts 83rd bday and she LOVED it. She said the food was great, the band was awesome and the dancing was the icing on her cake.
This was a nice place to come with friends. Small tapas plates, cool live latin music, and nice ambiance. Our waiter kind of needed a fire lit under him, but once he got going, he was pretty good. Mojitos were on sale for $5. We tried the strawberry, mango, and passion fruit. The passion fruit, a flavor I usually do NOT care for, was DIVINE!! Small plates tasted were as follows: Garlic hummus - tasty! The marinated olives were delish. Found out that you can get these as a side for a charge. Malbec braised short rib - sooo good. Tender and flavorful. It is a small plate so be prepared for a small portion. A nice surprise to this dish was the fried yucca root. Scallops Y Pork Belly - this was one thumb up and one down. The scallops were cooked perfectly and had a good flavor. The pork belly was disappointing as it was not crispy, actually kind of mushy. I may order again and ask them to be sure to crisp up the pork belly. Empanada de Pollo - meh. It was just "ok". The pastry shell was kind of gummy; could have been more crisp. The filling was pretty good. Gambas Al Ajillo - this shrimp dish was VERY spicy! Described on the menu as sauteed shrimp, fresh garlic butter & grilled bread. It did NOT mention the ABUNDANCE of red pepper flakes. Not my preference. Calamares Fritos - do NOT miss this dish. It was absolutely divine! Loved the pico de gallo under the calamari and the spanish paprika gave it a nice flavor without making it spicy.
Great food. Wonderful service. Very popular on a Saturday night. Nice crowd.
Prompt service and delicious tapas, especially considering how busy they are on the weekends!
First time. Very good food and excellent service.
Overall it was great, the food is a bit over priced for the portions, but its a fun evening for a girls night. The dance floor should definitely be bigger.
Go early to avoid the crowds and find parking. The live music is great! The closed in terrace can be a bit chilly...
It was very nice , one thing tho is the serving is really small so we had to order like twice 😂
The atmosphere was lively and not too loud so that you couldn't hear the person next to you. The food overall was okay, not bad or fantastic, nothing wowed us. Out of six different tapas two very very good, the mussels and octopus. The other four were satisfactory, with the macaroni & cheese being the blandest I've had in a long time.
Our pitcher and glasses of sangria were filled with ice, which was pleasant once the ice was removed from our glasses and prior to said ice watering down the pitcher. The staff was very good, our waitress was fantastic and we appreciated her attentiveness.
The food was great but the service was superb!!! Tania was amazing and we will be back!!
Menu is scaled back at night to open up for the night life. Trying to overcome that balance is a challenge here. Loud music while trying to enjoy dinner.
Love the environment, music & food We had a blast. Our sever was very friendly.
Such a fun dinner !! The dancing and the music was amazing!!! What a great night
Great atmosphere, service, food, music, and hookah! Great experience and look to make it a regular thing.
