   The overall of this visit scores 4 out of 5. The main server isn’t professionals to my all request. I asked her to recommend for a main dish and she replied very quickly without more description and seemed to get tired of telling that to customers. This is the first impression on me and my clients. The food we ordered took 35 to 40 mins long to our table and I didn't complain about it in front of my guest who are the first visits to Locanda Verde. The ambiance is same as usual and noise level is a little higher than usual. If I can be a secret visitor to share my experience to make your service better, I would like to do that. This is because of my loyalty to Locanda Verde and you are the one of my favorite restaurant in NYC. Thank you for running your business long that I can visit and enjoy it with my guests.

   Host staff at check in are completely rude, untrained and disinterested. Had a 5pm reservation with my family arrived 4: 58pm I was told to wait outside on the bench. Came back 5:05pm, got checked in then she walked off outside for 5 min while other customers got checked in and seated by a different host. She finally came back in and without making eye contact the entire time, we got seated. Both hosts are young kids with zero training or etiquette, or desire to represent LV. I have been coming here since 2010. The server was excellent, professional and provided excellent service.

    Mother and daughter weekend. The restaurant was the perfect place for our last meal before heading home. We enjoyed our brunch and the service was not rushed. Hope to come back on another visit in the future.

    There was lots of energy in the restaurant last Friday evening—a great NYC vibe. It had been a few years since I had been at Locanda, and I had forgotten how great the food is here—from the steak tartare to Grandma’s raviolis to the lamb chops and steak. It was a memorable meal with top-notch service, and I can’t wait to go back!

    What a gem! Our experience was simply fantastic from the moment we came in the door. This restaurant has a level of detail and care that many places just don’t get. Try the crostini ricotta it’s awesome. We are looking forward to our next visit.

    Loved the food and the ambiance!! Ravioli wasn’t fully cooked but the restaurant did their part and took it off the bill, as well as sent a lovely desert selection as a courtesy. We will definitely be back! :)

    The location is great food tasty. We had brunch, the lemon ricotta pancakes were very good, I’d recommend them. The waiter was not very welcoming and we felt a little rushed. Otherwise, it’s a nice Resturant and food was good.

    Hostess told us it would be over hour wait after I saw available reservations every 15 minutes on your site. As I didn’t know when my friend would arrive I didn’t initially make a reservation. After being told that we stepped over to the bar and made reservations on your site for 15 minutes later and went back to the hostess to be seated. Tables were turning over quickly and we were seated. That service experience tainted the day. The waiter was great and as always the food was good. Bad business practice.

    We enjoyed a corner booth in the lovely, dimly lit Locanda Verde. The black truffle mushroom pasta, lamb meatball sliders, and Brussel sprouts were fabulous. Portions were generous. Plenty of food for two. We’ll be back.

    The food is always stunning. The grandmother's ravioli gotta be the best pasta we ever had. The wine list is great, service is very attentive. And its one of the few places in NY you can get dessert that is not too sugary or heavy, all is light and well done. We love it !

    Great place. Prince Harry and Meghan went there so you can feel privileged. Very tasty meal. Not such a big menu but the trout was succulent as was the bruschetta. Really tasty.

    Made a reservation for brunch. Sat down and was told the kitchen closes in ten minutes. Should have left but had quests. Everything came out pretty much at once. We were told we could open the table up if we needed. Drinks, although ordered first, arrived much later than the food. Dismal experience.

    Not impressed. I’ve visited your restaurant several times over the years and always been pleased but this time was sub par to say the least. To start (1) the water glasses smelled, like a dirty rag was use to polish them. The waiter forgot to replace the glasses and so we had to follow up. (2) the waffle was dry and overcooked (3) the frittata wasn’t warm and frankly not tasty. (4) We requested bread and it took forever to come out. Unfortunately, although I’ve been here many times, this one occurrence cost $95 would deter me from returning.
