Great experience, the food and service were wonderful!
I love this place! The food is consistently good and the menu is great!
It was amazing. The food was great and their brunch bottle was fantastic
Build your own Bloody Mary was amazing
Food and ambiance were great.
My go-to place for brunch. Great variety of food and drinks, always done well.
Had a fabulous birthday dinner with 10 others. Always great food and service at Logan Tavern.
Madeline was awesome. Very attentive. Wonderful personality. I love Logan Tavern. The food is always perfect.
A popular gathering spot near Logan Circle, the food is well prepared but not exactly innovative. Both dining areas, unfortunately, tend to be somewhat loud but the servers were attentive and, apparently, have good hearing. Our biggest beef was the lack of parking nearby. Forced to leave our vehicle five blocks away, we were subsequently late for our reservation and they had already given away our table. A hazard of city life but one that might have been handled more graciously. Do get the fried sprout appetizer with bacon and the excellent shrimp and grits. Also, be happy with the extensive beer selection, likely one of the keys to its popularity.
The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect. Would recommend.
We dined here for Valentine's Day and the ambience was lovely. There was warm, low light, it was quiet enough to talk easily, and there was a little vase of roses on each table.
The food was delicious and arrived promptly. Our server was attentive, fun to chat with, and checked in on us frequently. Our drinks arrived promptly (we ordered beer but nonetheless lol), as did our appetizers. Highly recommend the Korean BBQ wings, Caesar salad, and grilled burger.
Amazing food. 3 course menu every one was perfect!
Fabulous food! Best burger I have had in a long time. Great appetizer of bacon wrapped dates. Wonderful service without being overly intrusive.
Great dinner spot for a group. We were staying at a local hotel for a conference and were happy to find Logan Tavern!
The Cauliflower Steak is a joke. If it's going to be presented as on entree it should be more than just a big piece of cauliflower with sauce. Everything else was great.
Our server Maddie was the best! Great brunch with friends.
Went for brunch. Nothing special. Food and service just ok
This is our favorite restaurant for pre-show (Studio Theatre) drinks and dinner with our friends. For 6 of us we made a reservation so the side room is more quiet than the main room. In nice weather we enjoy sitting outside. Food, drinks and service are always great.
This was my first time at Logan Tavern - but certain to not be my last.
I met a friend for a combined business/personal lunch.
Our server, Patrick, was great - attentive but not overbearing.
The menu was creative and our luncheon choices were perfectly prepared.
Great food, service, atmosphere and reasonably priced.
Connecting with a former colleague and friend, this was a perfect environment. Wait staff was extremely attentive but not intrusive. Lively atmosphere without being obnoxiously loud. Menu is outstanding and our meal was excellent.
Wonderful service and outstanding food! We did not particularly care for the ambiance in the back room.
Good place for brunch essentials, nothing fancy. However, avoid the lattes-they're so small! I ordered a $5 latte that I finished basically in two sips.
We were here for restaurant week and the food was amazing - especially the scallops!
Normally, I would recommend Logan Tavern, but after the experience earlier this week, I can no longer recommend.
This is the 2nd time we've dined at Logan Tavern as a group. The service this time around was sub par. I don't know if someone called in sick or what, but it appeared that only 1 person was cooking? The entrees came out in a reasonable time, but the appetizers that one of my colleagues ordered came out at the same time as well. It felt like it took 10 plus minutes for the desserts to arrive at our table.
We had to ask our server for the dessert menu as well as the check. It would be understandable if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn't. There appeared to be only 3 servers, but the one assigned to our table appeared to have a lot of tables to serve.
I'm not sure what was going on, but the dining experience this time was very different from the previous one.
Ordered a turkey burger and received a veggie burger. When I told them I didn’t think it was a turkey burger because it was filled with grains they said it was panko filler. Look at photo close. Didn’t eat it and they didn’t remove or discount.
Logan Tavern is good for brunch. We were early (11:30 am) so it was not too noisy on Christmas Eve day. One of our party ordered a brunch item and thought it was tasty. One ordered a burger and said it was ok. One ordered the lamb burger without a bun and it was tasty. The cole slaw was so-so. The space is decorated in a "very Los Angeles way" according to one of our party. That could be good or bad! The menu tries hard to be more than a burger and fries place, but not sure it quite succeeds. Prices are high for what you get.
The Logan Tavern is the perfect destination for your drinking and dining pleasure if you're in the East Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, or West Shaw neighborhoods. Solid food and cocktail menus and a great, approachable wine list. The friendliest staff in DC!
Good food and prompt service. Was a bit loud but overall a good value. Would go back.
As usual Logan Tavern didn’t disappoint. I brought some out of town guests and they loved it. The servers and managers are great, it’s a great casual atmosphere and terrific food.
