   It amazes me when people come to a place like this and let their kids run all over screaming. Completely ruins the experience for others. Barrng that, we had another wonderful meal here. Eric delivered his usual great service.

   Get rid of the salmon on pretzel bread. Bread was dry and to hard to eat. The salad Louie was ok but nothing outstanding. The crabmeat had a very strong odor which was distracting. Bring back fish and chips.

   Staying at Hermosa which is wonderful!! Was hoping Lon’s was too but underwhelmed. Bread looked like leftovers, grit in salad and only three scallops in my husband’s main course 😐. Love the atmosphere and staff is great, maybe just an off night. Will probably try again for brunch!

   We love Lon's, but this wasn't their best day. Our server was excellent, but had way too many tables to be efficient. Our food was tasty, but not hot, and one's burger was well done instead of medium rare and cold--fries too. The experience won't deter us from returning!!

   This was our first time to Lon's. We had viewed the menu before going but they changed it for the summer. We still found items to choose from & Sean was Great. He even brought my husband a Birthday Dish even though it was on Sunday but wanted to be a home with family. The trip to Lon's was an early date lunch day. Thank you

    You just can’t beat the patio at Lons. It was high 80’s and under the shade trees it was very pleasant for our lunch. From the cocktails to shrimp tacos, fish, salads and steak frites everyone in our group was happy with the food. Service was excellent.

    Our waiter was so accommodating and informative!! We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday and several people who worked there came over and wished her a happy birthday! The food was wonderful, drinks, imaginative and unique!! Had a fabulous evening, we really felt like we were on vacation and will definitely dine at Lon’s again!

    This visit to Lon's was disappointing. We have had several wonderful dinners here in the past. The service was not up to its normal standards. Our waiter was not up to speed on the menu in regards for special needs (i.e. vegan, dairy free, gluten free). He seemed unsure of why certain entries were or were not compliant. Even when he came back to inform us, we were unsure if he really understood what he was saying. The new york strip steak was tough. We also had a birthday that night and no mention of it throughout dinner after we mentioned it and no consideration for a birthday desert. A disappointing night...

    Food was wonderful, staff was wonderful. The live music was amazing and it was such a great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The scallops were delectable and the seared ahi was a great starter. I will definitely be back.

    What a great way to spend my birthday weekend! Dan our server, Brian the Somme, Jon the GM made our a wonderful dining experience! On top of all that hospitality, deliciousness and celebration, our favorite, local musical artist was the live music entertainment, Stanley Serrano! Awesome night!

    The patio seating was lovely and the food was delicious. However there were a lot of mosquitoes requiring multiple guests to seek out bug spray. It also took 45 minutes before we could order food as no one but the sommelier noticed we had been seated. Let’s hope this was a one off experience.

    The frittata listed many vegetables that were included in it , including squash and wild mushrooms, but when the dish arrived, it barely had any vegetables, and had no squash at all. It was also not fully cooked on the inside. The bread that came with the dish did not taste fresh either. This was quite disappointing. There were not enough healthy menu options either.

    The food was OK for brunch. Not impressed. Monkey bread was tough and hard. We were recommended by someone to go there and it didn’t live up to the recommendation as far as the food goes. Service was fantastic though and cute little place !!!

    I was hoping this was going to be an amazing Mother’s Day dinner for my mom, but quite frankly it was sub par on the expectations level. Pros: stunning historical property, old timey cowboy feel, rustic. Also - the steaks were really good. Cons: it took forever to get our food and when it did come, 1 minute into eating my mom found a long hair wrapped and tangled in the whole thing of the creamed spinach beneath the steak. The waiters’ first response was that no one in the back has long hair when it was clear this sucker was wrapped all up in the creamed spinach and didn’t just fall on the plate(my moms hair is short). The restaurant did take it back and make a new dinner and did take it off the bill, which was great - but the whole experience ruined the dinner and I doubt I will ever come back or recommend Lon’s to anyone. Was not worth the trip out there for a special occasion.

    For my mother’s 93rd birthday, we ate lunch on the patio. The ambience, service, and attentive staff made the afternoon special. The crab cakes were wonderful! Each plate was a work of art and the food presented the perfect blend of taste and texture. Lon’s never disappoints. It’s our favorite venue especially for celebrations and to treat out of town guests
