Luckee features Chinese cuisine at its most sophisticated, with comforting and recognizable recipes of classic dishes and dim sum for the culinary traditions of Guangzhou, Hunan and Szechuan regions, updated and enhanced by Chef Lee's delectable signature.
The interiors subtly blend accents of imperial red and wall-to-wall panels of dynastic architecture, with a nod to 20th century Chinoiserie.
Luckee Bar, already a favourite of locals and travellers alike, boasts themed as well as classical cocktails, an extensive wine list, and an urban vibe that is one-of-a-kind.

I was in town for work and heard about this place during a business meeting. It came highly recommended and it didn't disappoint. The waitress made helpful recommendations about signature dishes, and helped us understand the menu, as we were from out of town and came during the "Summerlicious" dining series in Toronto. Great food, nice ambiance, and yummy drink selection.
Slow service. Went for Summerlicious and the food was not up to a high standard.
We ended up leaving without eating because we weren't told the restaurant was operating on 1/3 of the menu because of summerlicious even though the full menu was still visible on the website. A warning when people book a table would have avoided trying to find another restaurant on a Saturday evening. Will not be returning
The dessert trio was my favorite part of the meal.
Tried because I saw on BT. The online menu looked great but was disappointed with Summerlicious reduced menu. Compared to the food quality/creativity at Lee Restaurant (same chef) I was very disappointed. Perhaps the full menu would have been better. Too expensive for what was offered. Minimal creativity and not what I expected from Chef Lee.
Ordered from the Summerlicious menu and truthfully felt it was underwhelming.
When I booked they didn't mention about summerlicious, the menu changed and it wasn't what I expected so that was a bit disappointing. The event was for my husband's birthday dinner, I made the reservation thinking we would get a quiet seating area but instead we got a table facing the entrance. I'm not to happy about the overall experience but the waitress tried her best to accommodate us since my whole family is vegetarian. I doubt that we'll be going back there any time soon !!!
Food is not authentic Chinese but service and environment is supper good.
Been there for dinner and that was good. Didn’t like the flavours of the dishes, ordered dim sum.
Not your typical Dim Sum. Excellent ingredients with a twist on the original. What you would expect from a celebrity chef. A bit pricey but thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Came back for a second time in a week because we enjoyed our meal so much.
First time there. It was a birthday lunch, food was excellent, very tasty and beautifully presented. Service was also great. Nice balance of professional and casual. The space itself was lovely. Very inviting. Would definitely go back and be very happy to recommend it.
Had a great dinner with out of town friends. Even though we were three big appetites, we filled up
Pretty good by going through our server's suggestions. Beef short ribs were an excellent choice. Fairly priced wine list.
Very helpful staff to explain dining options. No delays between courses. Very courteous and obliging staff. Attentive manager.
A little on the cool side by the windows with air conditioning on.
Would recommend for a dining experience.
Had the Luckee dim sum basket, Kobe beef fried rice and green beans. All were exquisitely plated and very tasty! Loved the twist on traditional dim sum dumplings. Will definitely go back to try the Cheung fan and turnip cakes the next time I visit Toronto.
It was delicious, fun and beautiful inside the restaurant. I brought my partner’s parents from New York and they loved it! Awesome ambience and delectable food!
My wife and I had lunch and were truly satisfied. The food was very delicious. We will return when visiting Toronto next time.
My friend avnd I were checking the restaurant out, to see if it was a good choice for a group event in the summer. The food was very good, as was the service. The restaurant was comfortable and not too noisy. We'll be back with the larger group.
We ordered almost all the recommended menu on the list— and we didn’t regret it
The Lobster cheung fun was really good and the Beef short ribs was amazing
My husband and I brought our teenage Chinese exchange student to Toronto for the Memorial Day Weekend. We stayed with good friends and all of us dined at Luckee on Sunday evening. The restaurant is very attractive. The staff was highly attentive and they were very knowledgeable about the cuisine and wine. Our student wants to study to become a chef; he was given a tour of the kitchen and treated very courteously. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Wonderful post ballgame meal - Luckee Duck was amazing. Service was great - look forward to our next visit!
The restaurant was half empty and our waitress had limited knowledge about the wine and food menu but she was pleasant and attentive. The ambience was quiet which was surprising for a Friday evening. It was more than half empty. For appetizers we shared a rainbow dim sum platter which was average in taste and presentation. However the sauce for the dim sum was very flavourful. We had the steamed fish and seafood fried rice as main course. The quantity is good but the fish was a little bland though well made. The fried rice was well made and flavourful. For dessert we had the bubble waffle which is a bit juvenile as it’s basically a waffle with vanilla ice cream and berry compote. Nothing too spectacular and presentation and taste.
Delicious food attentive knowledgeable staff super service and great location
Outstanding food and service! We were staying at the Soho Metropolitan Hotel & even after having dinner at the CN Tower, came to Luckee Restaurant afterwards for after dinner drinks & apps! Love the vibe & would definitely recommend!
Been here a few times and the service is always poor, this time it was atrocious. After sitting for 30 minutes our waitress finally asked if we would like a drink. I repeatedly asked for the server and manager in the 30 minute time frame but I guess neither wanted to serve our table. I will not be going back or recommending to others. I’ve always told people that the food was amazing but service was slow, there in excuse for the manager to not address me when I asked for them twice.
This is my second time dining at Luckee. Unfortunately my experience this time was sub-par. I attended with my family for Mother’s Day Brunch. Because we were the last seating (2:30) our server quickly rushed us to get our order in (kitchen closed at 2:45 pm)
The brunch menu was not explained well by our server. Food was great as usual, we all wished we had more time to sample and decide what we wanted. My husband’s main meal order was not put in at all. The food we did receive was outstanding. Overall our experience was disappointing.
Very loud, service was not attentive and our two servers were too quiet. Food was good.
We were a party of three and two of them had a stomach upset after eating here. The chicken in the Cheung Fun seemed undercooked. The third person ate vegetarian food which was good and no issues with that. Food is pricey but it is different from your average Chinese food. Kudos to creativity.
Amazing One of the best dinners we
Have experienced in a long time
My husband and I eat out regularly and both of us give this experience a 5 in all aspects
Ambiance, service, food and price
The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. Would definitely return and recommend it to others!
Great , innovative food and exceptional service ! Would go back anytime !
We will be back. Everything was perfect for a lovely dinner.
Great food. Exciting menu, very unusual, the peak of original Chinese cuisine.
Service was exceptional, our server was very informative, accommodating and friendly. Food was good but not exceptional.
Overpriced. Feel Disappointed because it is a so-called Susur Lee restaurant. Food is average, food court quality but charges you fine dining price. The beef short ribs were too salty. Hot and sour soup is no longer as surprising as before, adding only a piece of squid should not make it worth $12. The only highlight was the Abolone gow. Nice place for a super casual meal, just a meal to make you full. No expectation, no disappointment.
This is my 2nd visit to Luckee, the last time was 2015, and it is as I remembered, even better. The food is simply delicious and absolutely beautifully presented. The staff is very knowledgeable and everyone has a role. The table was cleared within good time, the ambiance was dark yet very lively. Everything about this place is a truly great experience.
Excellent as always
Luckee has gone down hill. Not only did we end up with broken glass on our drink flutes from a breakage at the bar but there was a hair in the dipping sauce and small flies hovering around our table. It doesn’t feel nearly as special as it once did. I won’t go again for that price.
We went there for a family dinner. The food was creative, very appealing to the eye, and delicious. The wait staff was very helpful with choices and helped us adjust dishes to satisfy everyone. Our only disappointment was that the dishes were on the small side, but we were advised of this when ordering.
Great food. Tasting an array of the menu, every dish full of flavours and a pleasure to eat.
Next time in town would definitely visit Luckees again
