About Lucy & the Wolf
Lucy & the Wolf is a new restaurant on the corner of Main Street and Center in the historic district town of Northville and its iconic name-Lucy & the Wolf-captures the spirit of fun and imagination that infuses the food, drinks and atmosphere.
The restaurant's interior is completely refurbished, with reclaimed wood and brick walls and a wrap-around zinc bar. And while the simple and sleek look is a draw, it's all about the food.
The food and drinks have an old world charm with a new world twist. There is a definite Spanish flair to many of the dishes.
The intimate 60-seat restaurant is ideal for casual dining and drinks, where plates can be shared and friends found at the bar. From aged classic cocktails to a grilled fruit sangria, as well as craft beer and a well-chosen wine list-it's a well thought out and carefully orchestrated bar.

Lucy & the Wolf Ratings and Reviews
Food and drinks were delicious and the booths were super cozy. We loved every dish we ordered! I think our waiter was a little shocked at how much we ate. We left nothing on the plates. Service was just right. I would definitely go back!
Terrific food, service and ambience. Love the small plates to share. Great way to try many different flavours and treats. Good wine and bar selections. If you haven’t tried it, we recommend you do! Make reservations to ensure a table!
The food is always different and very good here. No matter how often you come you have a different meal each time. It was a bit on the cold side because the door kept opening and closing into the restaurant. I think they tried helping this by turning the heat on a little higher which would pop on from time to time. Definitely will go back.
This was our third or fourth time here, and definitely THE BEST! Everything was superb. Definitely recommend the BBQ pork skillet and the shrimp. What great flavor profiles. And the roasted beets and cauliflower both ROCK. Will be back soon . . . and will bring nn some friends along too.
Food was delicious. We especially loved the goat cheese and the mesquite chicken.
My husband and I decided to try this place for a fun date however we were met with disappointment. As we walked in no one addressed us. As we awkwardly stood waiting to be seated, the bartenders looked directly at us and continued to walk away. We clearly did not look like the other people in the restaurant and felt very uncomfortable as customers started at us waiting by the door (directly in front of the bar). We decided to leave and go somewhere else that was more diverse and friendly. When I called the manager on duty I was given a insincere “ oh my god, I didn’t even see you” and “ok have a better night”.
Awesome food selections and great drinks- plus fabulous service 😊
We went to Lucy and the Wolf for a holiday gathering of old friends. Perfect casual atmosphere. Great service. Food is great but a little pricey.
First visit - we'll be back! Tried the roasted tomatoes, pork tacos, wurst with grits, and mini donuts. All delicious and worth a look. John Ginitti cocktail was refreshing and not too sweet. Mike the bartender was attentive and took great care of us.
Delicious food. The favorites of all we tried were the biscuits and honey, the spicy shrimp, and the mini donuts.
We took some friends from out of town here for a couples dinner. Some of the food was quite good- the goat cheese appetizer was particularly good. However, the salami on the charcuterie platter was grey at the edges and very unappetizing. The pork tacos were so salty they were not enjoyable. Also, there is a very limited drink menu particularly for after dinner drinks.
Pre Christmas dinner with family
I was seated wedged next to a large, black piece of plywood and my guest was seated in walking traffic path of the kitchen and other patrons. We brought this to the attention of the server as there was an open booth. The server was grossly disrespectful and unprofessional. Informed me that could not be done and “everyone had a reservation that night.”
We definitely will not be going back.
Great little restaurant in downtown Northville. Small plates with a good variety of choices. Noise was moderate, service was casual and friendly. Food is excellent. Cocktails are unique.
Food was excellent. Want go try Lamb meatballs next time. Wish they were offered on the lunch menu.
Love this place, food is always great! The sangria is delicious and our favorites are fish tacos and tomato’s in a skillet with cheese and eggs.
Fun place. Interesting small plates menu, high on flavor. Limited wine list, but good selection. Service was very good. Will return.
This was a great place. The food was awesome and small plates great for sharing. Biscuits and Honey very good and Tacos were awesome with just enough spice! Loved the cocktail list as well. Went for date night and great atmosphere too.
Beer selection is not too many but great taste and covers the ones you would want with the food. The vegetables were cooked nicely! Definitely come back!
We’ve never been disappointed at this terrific small plates restaurant. Really interesting selections. Unless you are seated in one of the booths, tables are pretty close together and it can be noisy.
Wonderful meal and excellent service by Jodi. Pulled pork entree and charred beets salad were both great additions to the menu.
Bourbon smoked sugar glazed mini donuts a must! The tomatoes in cast iron, delicious. The food is unique with great flavors.
Met with friends for lunch, we shared some aps and shared main courses. Were blown away by quality of food beginning with barista style coffee by the cup. Dessert item we wanted was not on lunch menu, but chef prepared the bread pudding that they offer at dinner. Outstanding!
Small plates with plenty of vegetarian friendly options. Good portions. Fresh food, good flavor combos. Will definitely go again!
Love the food. Small plates . I like to eat a variety of small dishes and sample different things.
Small menu of tapas here. Over priced beer and cocktails. The tapas were very small portions and very expensive for what you were served. They need to look at how Fire Fly in Traverse City operates and has on their menu if they want tonup their game.
Some of the food was good. some of the food was microscopic.
the shredded pork, potatoes, and tacos were good. The biscuits, and tomatoes and cheese not so good and the same for the broccoli which was bland. I would go again, since the things they did well they did really well.
We started a girls night out at Lucy and the Wolf. The cocktails were good, nothing too fancy, good pours, with flavor. We ordered a variety of dishes to taste... lamb meatballs were full of flavor and the sauce was delish. The goat cheese app was our favorite, the sundries tomatoes made the dish. The crab dip had a nice Smokey flavor to it. The deviled eggs were a little disappointing. The prosciutto was nice but the egg filling had very little flavor. The mini donuts were sweet, crunchy on the outside and super warm and gooey in the middle. We also gave a run at the Apple bread putting which was excellent.
Celebrated a special occasion here. Lucy & the wolf was great, but it was packed. Took us 20 minutes to get to our reserved table, which was attached to the bar, and not quite as intimate as on of the booths we were hoping to get. The food was excellent though, and the drinks felt like a good deal.. They paced tapas for us and we shared excellent flavors throughout the night. The goat cheese was our favorite.
Loved our dinner. Supper fun for a girls night out.
First time to Lucy and the Wolf and what a delightful find! Everything is made fresh (you can watch the chef prepare as the restaurant is not very large); nothing pre-prepared that rolled off the back of some big food service truck. We had the fish tacos and cubano. Good sized portions for lunch that I didn't think we could finish (but, yes we did!). Cute little town with lots of shops too. Make an afternoon or evening of it!
This was a great fun place for a birthday celebration. The wait person was attentive without being annoying. Her recommendations were excellent. The food was tasty. The atmosphere was vibrant and lively.
We have here many times,! Not your usual dinning- neat for a couple or foursome to try many varied items. All good stuff! Presentation is great as well. Have a great bar menu as well lots of different thing plus most of the usual drinks.
Excellent food and service. First time customers. We'll be back!
Made a last minute reservation on a Saturday at the dinner rush hour. Called to let them know we would be late and make sure that wasn't an issue, they were really accommodating but warned us they had a reservation at 7 so as long as we could be out by 7 it should be ok. We ended up getting there at 6 so I was worried we might not get out in time. They were SUPER fast and all of the food was amazing! Our server was really nice and the restaurant even called us 2 minutes after we left to tell us we left our car keys on the table. What a great place!
Awesome experience! The food and drinks were fantastic!!!
Loved loved loved the donuts!!!
My husband and I went for happy hour on a Friday at 5 p.m. which was a perfect time to go - not too busy. We grabbed a table by the window. The happy hour plate options weren't that great, but you get $2 off draft beers and cocktails and 1/2 off any bottled/canned beers. We had the charcuterie board (meh, not very impressive) and the bratwurst-like plate (very good, with a purple dijon mustard and roasted peppers). We also had the shrimp tacos (YUM) and the lamb meatballs. Interesting/varied cocktails. Left full/content, and perfect location in downtown Northville, so you can walk around after. Tables are small, but we made due. Server was very nice, but felt bad I kept asking him questions about the drinks and he finally told me he wasn't 21 yet. Poor kid. He took good care of us.
Had several items off of the small plates section of the menu, all of which were awful. Want a bowl full of cheap breadsticks with cold bar cheese dip that appears to be from a can? Want some mushy, apparently microwaved broccoli? How about some burnt roasted potatoes over some marinara sauce with a fat squeeze of plain mayo splattered across them? Then this is definitely the place for you!
This place is an utter disappointment.
Carefully prepared tapas in a lovely environment in Northville. Burger was a great value. Unique, homemade flavorful sauces grace most of the dishes we tried. Salads were very fresh and the doughnuts were delicious! Very friendly waitstaff.
Fun small plates in a cozy setting. We were taken excellent care of by Carly, who was working the bar area. The drinks were fantastic, and the food was unique and used many local ingredients. Definitely on our list for future date nights!
