As always, the martinis were icy cold, the oysters were briny and fresh, and the filet medallions were perfectly medium rare. Attentive but unobtrusive service was right on the mark.

Food was really good. We had the vin blanc mussels, a cheese board, steak frites, pork schnitzel, a burger and the orecchiette pasta. All of it was very good. We were seated at a table upstairs that was better suited for 4 but we were a party of 6. It made sharing the appetizers difficult.

The food was extremely disappointing. Lobster bisque tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup. The steak tartare had no seasoning. Mussels were gritty, although the broth was delicious. Skip this one- overall the food is terrible.

Terrific birthday dinner was enjoyed by all. 4.00-6.00 happy hour is not to be missed. Was a bit surprised that the birthday dessert for the celebrant that we didn’t order and believed was comped was in fact charged to us.

For restaurants in Arlington, VA there is no better value, service, and overall atmosphere than Lyon Hall. The menu options rotate and the food quality is tremendous. cocktails are not over priced and taste great.

Great, attentive service. Food was delicious. I had the hake & my friend had the roast chicken. Both were perfectly satisfying. Started with some fun cocktails, then shifted to wine by the glass. All great compliments to our food. Always a reliable spot for a great meal with wonderful service.

My friend and I started with the warm Bavarian pretzel, which was delicious. My entree was the Lyon Hall burger, which was also very, very good. We each had a cocktail, then a glass of red recommended by our server, Marisol. The wine was quite good. And Marisol was excellent: helpful, attentive, but not obtrusive. Very nice meal.

This is our young daughter’s go-to spot for a dozen oysters and a great mac and cheese all of which were delightfully consumed. The great music selection adds to the ambiance. Lyon Hall never disappoints!

Dining out on Valentine’s Day can be a dicey proposition, but Lyon Hall delivered a lovely evening! It seemed that the entire restaurant was filled with 2-tops, but despite the crowd the service was prompt without being pushy, the food was outstanding (especially the mussels!) It and the ambiance was engaging. This was our first visit and we look forward to returning to try more of the menu items.

Casual European elegance - fresh white tiles, warm lighting, good background music, attentive and pleasant staff. We like to go during Happy Hour for their excellent mussels - they vary the broths but there's always one that we love (Provencal in particular). Good selection of beers and wines to complement their Belgian-focused menu. We go several times a year and it's always a special visit.

Perhaps Lyon Hall was having an "off" day, but first, it took more than 10 minutes after being seated next to a hyper-noisy foursome for a waiter to appear and take our order. While the nonalcoholic drinks were served promptly, it was another 30 minutes before we saw food, and missing was an ordered side that was refused when it came as we were checking out. Other service issues: took waiter 5+minutes to replace dropped fork; check presented (with my name & Visa # on it) was for another table.
