Excellent waitress! Very nice!
First time at that location. Everyone from the valet to the busboy was amazing. Very friendly. Extremely welcoming and our waitress made sure we knew what we were ordering how it was served and came to check on us a perfect amount of times. Loved it!
Good dining experience. Our server was excellent.
Food is always good, though one person's shrimp seemed overcooked and somewhat dry. Salmon was delicious. Service by Ali was excellent.
Perfect time to enjoy an early lunch. Great music playing...made me want another wine and stay.
Bobby was a wonderful server! Noticed my salad hadn’t come out and was on it right away. Noise was a bit much due to loud table next to us but not restaurant’s fault. We have been here many times and will come back. Good food for very reasonable price.
Front host could use some classes in dealing with people. He was short and seemed very disinterested in our welcoming and seemed like we were an interruption and didn’t really care if we felt welcomed or not.
We had reservation for 11 people.. upon arrival it was so crowded, it was difficult to move. after waiting 20 minutes beyond our reserved time, we were told they were running 45 minutes late. It was Mother’s Day, so it was understandable to be a bit behind, but frustrating to have had to sit and wait it out for so long.
This is our 3rd year celebrating Mother’s Day @ Maggianos Chicago.
The service was great, but we were there for 3hours. It took longer for food to come out from kitchen and it was obvious that they were short staffed. Our server did his best , provided great service. In previous years the head Chef came out & checked on the Moms, they used to have flowers on table. Those were nice touches that they did not provide.
Very disappointed. Mother’s Day lunch was a disaster. Awful service. Rude staff. The food was still good but we will not return. Very disappointing for a Lettuce Entertain You restaurant.
We had a reservation for Mother’s Day brunch. We were seated promptly as soon as we all arrived. Our server was attentive. The food was fantastic!!!! Great atmosphere, great service, and great food!
We had a great time at this restaurant but the service was kind of slow food was excellent environment was excellent it just seems like the services is running around and while we were there at least there was two incidents involving plates where they broke in the backmy fiance and I never even got a refill on our drinks I don't know how this restaurant is ran as far as getting refills on drinks but the waitress never asked us if we wanted every feeling a drink or she just didn't notice that our glasses were getting more empty I'm sure she would have got a better tip if she would just kept an eye on our drinks instead of asking us if we wanted more food
Had made reservations for 10 on Saturday night for 8:30pm. Arrived and valet my car and proceeded to restaurant. The entryway was spilling to the outside of building. I had 3 elders with me who waited standing outside until 9:15 pm. Temperature was in the low 40’s. We mentioned to them we had elders standing in the cold outside for 45 minutes but no one seemed to care. We were told we are a large party and had to wait. Food was not hot, chicken ptarmigan was dry, bread was extra hard. My bill plus tip was well over 500. Very disappointing
This Maggiano’s is a favorite of my 9 year old and I. Staff is always very accommodating and pleasant even when it’s obvious they are slammed taking care of a constant stream on folks arriving for dinner. Smiles are common and a fun quip are norms here - the staff is just made who good people who want to help you enjoy your experience. The high top area near the bar our favorite, with plenty of tv’s to keep my little guy in check. Reservations are highly suggested as there are a lot of folks who just roll off the street looking for a meal on Friday and Saturday evening. Expect to wait 30 to 45 minutes without one.
Our party wasn't seated until an hour after our reservation. The staff wasn't very forthcoming or apologetic regarding the wait. We were told on numerous occasions that they were checking on or table, but never would follow up on what was happening with the table. The food was fresh and hot, but not very good. The servers were accommodating, yet not very present. The restaurant was pretty busy, so I'm sure they were trying hard to provide a good service experience, but fell short.
One of our family's favorite restaurants in Chicago - Maggiano's always always meets our expectations! Food is delicious and their Take Home a Classic deal can't be beat. Service staff is always professional and the right amount of attentive. We'll definitely be back!
We had a reservation at 7:15, finally seated at 7:47, our appetizers arrived about 35 minutes later and food about one hour and 10 minutes later from time we ordered. Our waiter was rude. We had to ask for Bread 3 times that everybody else was getting served automatically. our advertisers came out but one of our guests didn't receive their salad before their dinner without us asking for it after appetizers were gone. Our food was lukewarm. one of our gas ordered a drink from the bar that took 40 minutes by the time she got it she was not even able to drink it but had to pay for it. Their excuse was they had to get a bottle from the basement that took 40 minutes. The waiter brought us our check all on one even though we stated we were separate. And then I had to split up our check with a pen because he could not understand he said he doesn't go by people he goes by numbers at a table and couldn't mentally split up the check. It was mother's Day and all of the guests left the table except three of us that were paying. the waiter cleared our table but never brought us our check. I finally spoke to the manager who was wonderful and very apologetic I wish I would have spoke to him earlier. He took 50% off our bill for inconvenience and frustration. For that I would like to give him five stars although I do not think I will return to this restaurant or recommend it to anyone unfortunately
Food was great as always for large families. Our server was a little stressed out with managing our 12 person table and the table was not ready on time despite the call ahead confirmation.
Our server Marian was awesome. He was very tentative and made sure we were always good. The food tasted so delicious. I can’t wait to come back again.
We came to celebrate my husband's Graduation and our server Emel was great!!
Our server Brittney was pleasant, helpful, and attentive when needed. She made it special when we told her we were celebrating a special.
Great customer service!
We had a party of 9. It took the wait staff 35 minutes to get our drinks. It took more than an hour to order our food. After an hour had past, we had to ask for bread from the manager. Appetizers came out about 20 minutes before our food, which took about 1.40 minutes to come out. The restaurant was not overly crowded. The waitress and staff were very nice though.
Great service, great food, would recommend for a family of friends get together
Our server was awful and the food was not really worth the price. I never have to go again.
Excellent server very friendly staff. Our server was very attentive and concerned with our parking arrangements
We flew to Chicago for our anniversary and booked out anniversary dinner with Maggiano’s. They made us feel so special. The food was absolutely amazing! We will for sure be back again!! One of my absolute favorite places to eat at!
Very good food drinks were good food waa veryy quick very nice staff
After a slow start that had us seated nearly 15 minutes late and no one coming to our table for another ten, we had one of the waiters come to the rescue. He treated us like gold and saved the day. A manager followed up at the end with a complimentary dessert for us. Nice touch.
The minestrone soup was terrific. The pasta was nice but not over the top. Tasty and hot, which is what you want.
I would definitely go back.
Big menu. Great food and service. Clean restrooms and valet parking. What’s not to like.
Ladies trip to see Hamilton and enjoy Chicago!
Loved our dinner there and the staff was very accommodating. Only issue was our sever got our check confused and put two bills on one card but he got it resolved quickly.
We went on Easter Sunday, and even though we made a reservation we still had to wait 40 min. After we asked they finally set us down. But the most unfortunate was when my husband started eating that was a big piece of broken plate in his food. I couldn't eat anymore. The manager did not offer him anything different, he just assumed and brought him the same thing he had ordered previously. Very dissapointing experience on such special day.
Easter Sunday dinner was delicious. I started with the Maggiano’s salad - yum! I ordered the Prime Ribeye and it was prepared perfectly. My steak was not over cooked and the accompanying potatoes were delicious. It can be hard to find a restaurant to season a steal the way you like it and I was pleasantly surprised - as I judge a restaurant by its steak! Thanks for a delicious meal.
Went for Easter Sunday with my family and it was great! Our server was super helpful and the food was delicious.
We went as a family for a lunch on Sunday while we were walking around town. Everything was great, but be warned!!! After eating our motivation for walking around the city decreased dramatically!!! All we wanted to do was take a nap!
The Easter family style meal was phenomenal, as the food always is at Maggiano's. My only comment is that it took forever to get our food. We would get part of our selections, and then wait, often for quite a while for another. Our server was very nice, and brought lots of bread, as my boys were hungry, but we were there for two hours, and took our desert to go. I would probably not come on Easter in the future. The wait to get the next portion of our family style dinner was long.
I would totally recommend Maggianos, good food, totally a chicago institution.
