Our waiter was extremely helpful and courteous. Even with a reservation, there was a few minutes’ wait, but was not an issue considering how busy of a night it was. My complaint would be there wasn’t an adequate waiting area for guests near the front entrance; it was cramped. The food was really good. I hesitate to put great because I didn’t love the bread and he Alfredo pasta could have used more sauce. Appetizer and dessert were excellent. I would consider visiting again as it had a romantic dinner atmosphere.

I ordered chicken francese it was breaded chicken cutlet with a slice of lemon average to say the least...the waitress took my piece I had on a plate to take home, my date had lasagna he said it was good...felt very rushed...not sure I’d go back.

Maggiano's is a lovely restaurant. The lighting is subtle: bright enough to read the menu, low enough for a calming atmosphere. High-quality table appointments. We were seated at the time of our reservation. Bread, olive oil for dipping, and water appeared immediately, at the hands of our friendly server. We both enjoyed our food—mushroom ravioli for me, with a chopped salad on the side, and tiramisu for dessert, braised beef al forno (with gluten-free pasta), a Peroni beer, and spumoni for my companion. Everything was perfectly prepared and arrived in good time after we ordered. Our server kindly packed up our leftovers (the portions are generous). She was attentive, but not intrusive. The restaurant also gave us two complimentary pasta dishes to take home. We chose four-cheese ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo. We have had exemplary food and service every time at Maggiano's. It may be a chain, now, but the food and ambience make me feel as if I'm back in Chicago at the original restaurant. We'll be back!

All was great, food came out quickly, drinks were always refilled in a timely manner, hot food came out hot and cold food came out cold. Great experience. This is the second time we have dined with y'all with a large party for Birthdays. They even wrote my Parents Happy Birthday on their dessert plate and lit candles for them. Thank you all for a great evening.

We love Maggiano’s food. Love. But the last two times we’ve been there, the service has been so miserably slow that we will not be back. We’ll do carryout, but no dining there. Our server was sweet, but every stage of the meal took for-ever. Again, for the second time in a row.

First time to go to Maggiano's will not be the last time that is for sure. Could have used someone downstairs to greet us or at lease some signage. There was a little confusion on the kitchens part to the wait staff about what they had or didn't had. First 2 things I ordered they did not have (note it was only 5pm). But the kitchen staff bent over backwards and made sure my meal was fantastic (which it was). They didn't have to but threw in a free dessert. The kitchen Manager, came to our table two times just to make sure all was good. Trust me it was. Can't wait to go again.

i love maggianos but this visit was subpar. service was meh but the waiter seemed like he was new(er), so i won’t be too hard. food was amazing other than the fact that we were given three rolls to start when every other couple was given 6, 7 or 8. asked for more rolls but didn’t get them. also asked for the special cheesecake only to find out that they ran out of cheese cake entirely. we were compensated for an order of lemon cookies on the house which was nice. i’ll always come here but this visit was mediocre. :(

We got to the restaurant an hour in advance. We went in when it was time for our reservation. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes and then it took forever to get our bill. Wait was minimal (10 minutes) and though my preferred requested booth was not available, we were placed next to it. Service was prompt, friendly and informative (our waiter did more with one arm than most do with two.) The Linguini di Mare was prodigiously loaded with mussels and the marinara sauce was tasty and light. In and out in just over an hour. Great view of the whole house from our romantic banquette. Perfect for Valentine's Day.

Well lo and behold we got there and they had no reservation for us. I showed the reservation on my phone hostess acted like she couldn’t give two craps about it and said that they would have a table for shortly which they did it was pretty immediate although not the table that I had reserved but whatever it was still good. Apparently making a reservation and holding a reservation are two separate entitiesI really feel like we should’ve at least gotten an apology or a free antipasto or something but again whatever food was awesome service was a bit slow but she was very good

I used the OpenTable for the reservation and that was great. We arrived and were seated right away. The food is very good and the portions are more than enough. It was a good value for the money. Down side - It was very noisy so had a hard time hearing conversation. Would not recommend the waiter we had. I asked three times and my husband asked once to get my tea while i watched him get refills for the next table over from the bar several times. We had already received our food before it finally came. We ordered the special for two and after we had given him our food order I asked him about the dessert thinking I would give him the order all at once and he said no, that comes later and we have a whole other speal for that. I told him we had already been given a menu from the chef and knew what we wanted to order so he finally took the order. We will go back again.

We have always enjoyed Maggiano’s. The buy one/ take one home for two is a routine for us. It’s a good value indeed. We were there early (4:00) due to having plans later and perhaps that resulted in our less than expected service. Our appetizer was not served so they packed it to go, not what we had planned but best they could do. Requested more bread, never saw that either. Could have used the ice tea refill but didn’t happen. Just an off night, we will still be back. Food is always good here.
