Fish soup was saltier than usual. As it is always a favourite. Cold sitting by the window. Main meals & other appetizers were scrumptious. Overall the usual good and reliable place to dine. 😊🎄

Unfortunately the latest experience was disappointing. firstly, It was so cold inside the building that I Had to have my coat on for the entire meal.
Secondly we arrived at 7 pm. Had a couple drinks. Our appetizer arrived at 8 pm but our entree did not arrive until just after 10 pm!!
We both ordered the tenderloin and when it finally did show up it was cold!
I will not be back anytime soon.

This restaurant has a great atmosphere for an intimate evening with your partner. The food is great and the service is very good, but yet not intrusive. This chef must be a true professional. The restaurant is also quite clean and tastefully decorated. I definitely recommend this place.

We ate in the basement, which had a nice cosy ambience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent.

Service very slow. 6:30 reservation food after 8:00. Had to ask for bread and water multiple times.

Wonderful experience!! Haven’t been to this restaurant since it moved locations on Duckworth Street (many many years ago) and now wondering why we waited so long! Absolutely amazing food, service and ambiance. If you haven’t tried M&S…..treat yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

The hostess and waitress were so sweet and very attentive. The food was great, we had the scallops, the surfboard spread, and the duck nachos (a must!). They also have the best margarita I’ve ever had.

My husband and I were visiting from the west coast and wanted a nice evening out with a great meal and we certainly received it!! Renee our server was absolutely fantastic and the food was so delicious. The fish was fresh and the lamb was to die for. Thanks, we definitely will be back.

Prefer to be in restaurant area not the bar in the basement. Noisy. Also, door was opened permitting second hand smoke to enter the area.

Would highly recommend, service and atmosphere is the perfect match! Everything our party of 4 ordered was fantastic! Only comment is the duck nachos, again amazing but there was not quite enough of the duck spread to enjoy with the nachos, either more duck or less nachos. Had the duck nachos appetizer before and there was way more duck on the serving compared to this time.

I thought second time might be the charm but not for us. No problem with the wait staff as she did as much as she could. Our server came to us at 805 and told us our food would be just a few minutes. Reservation at 645 received entree at 835. Pasta and a burger??? Food was fine when we got it. Table next to us got served and done while we waited and they arrived 15 minutes after us. Some how a table of 10 downstairs bumped us down in the queue. Appreciated manager coming to us and offering an apology and comp desserts. Would still recommend you to others but with some caveats.

Excellent service. Very good selection of wine to accompany the delicious halibut and lamb. The fish soup is just what you need to get warmed up on a cool evening.

Multi generational birthday dinner. The menu was varied and had something interesting for everybody, the quality and preparation of the food was excellent, portions were generous, service was attentive and engaging and the noise levels were low so plenty of opportunity for comfortable conversation. Overall a great experience.
