   Haven’t been to this Short North restaurant for a quite some time. Food is pretty average. Won’t b returning for a long while. The eggplant parm was cut too thick and very soggy. Someone should know better and do better. Bar makes a great drink though.

   Asher was amazing and attentive and immediately recognized that one of us had a gluten allergy and went above and beyond to accommodate. The food & drinks were phenomenal as always. Marcella’s will always be one of our go to spots.

   Their food is always really tasty. Breads and doughs are all delicious. Our only problem was getting our drinks. We got all of our food (two appetisers and then two mains) before we got our drinks, and that was AFTER having to ask about them. It put an unfortunate damper on the whole meal.

   The meatballs at Marcella's are the best I've ever eaten, and that is coming from an Italian/Sicilian person. I brought home 4 meatballs to FL for my family that used to live there and gave me the heads up about their meatballs. The burrato salad was also to die for. Let me not forget the truffle mushroom pizza. The service is outstanding, but the meatballs are the true stars of the place.

    As is too often the case with Cameron Mitchell restaurants, the food comes out too fast. Order apps, 2 minutes later they are there. Order main course, a short period of time it's there. I'm not one for a 3 hour dinner, but the pace was too fast. Food was good, not great. Wine was served in water-type glasses. Should have requested a wine glass. For the price, I thought value was average, thus the three stars.

    Service was poor...all entrees were not brought out at the same time. Drinks were not refilled. Bill was dropped off with no opportunity to order dessert.

    We had such a great time at Marcella's! Even with two little ones the experience was great. We did have an issue with the accuracy of the order but it was quickly amended and the staff was so polite. I look forward to going back with friends and family in the future.

    The food was delicious, outstanding!! The service was great. The seating was cramped and very uncomfortable. It was extremely loud. Was expensive but highly recommended the calamari and the eggplant parm!!

    So nice to treat my wife to a Mother's Day brunch! She enjoyed small plates while I had the pesto shrimp pizza. It was so good the entire table shared. The winner of the table was my daughter's pasta carbonara! We all had a bite and it's a good thing she didn't leave the table or it would have been gone when she returned. Our waitstaff, Wren, was a winner also. She was really friendly and accurate and ON IT with the mimosas.

    Our service was awesome, could not have asked for a better Mother's Day brunch. They were so sweet with our kids (and we all know kids can be annoying to serve). Food came out quickly and was DELICIOUS!

    Service was terrible! Waited almost 30 minutes for water & bread. Our waitress seemed to have forgotten we were her table. Food was good, but not good enough to put up with bad service.

    We love the food it was delicious 😋 However the noise level was over the top ! So loud we couldn’t hear what the other person was saying. Good thing the food is so good .
