    Joseph was our server and gave our group the best experience for my husbands birthday! He was friendly, attentive and let us take our time! The food, wine, and cocktails were as wonderful as always! We will definitely be back again!

    My wife and I visited Marcello's for our Anniversary. Started with Crab Contessa, Tomato Basil Soup and Caprese followed by dishes suggested by our server. Molli w/ Eggplant and Linguini Tritone (pork cheek not seafood). Both were great. We will return, thanks.

    We had a birthday reservation there. It was amazing. The Linguini Tritone is a must try. Great service from Reese. Variety of wine choices, glass or bottle.

    Atmosphere and food were great. Our server was pushy about getting us to order our entree —- to the point of making us uncomfortable. We could not enjoy our drinks and appetizers because he kept interrupting to see if we were ready to order our entrees. This started before our appetizers even arrived. The server developed an attitude because we wouldn’t rush for him. This was only 20 minutes into our evening. We go there for drinks, and conversation around appetizers and to eventually order a main course. Not to be made to feel like we are being hurried along through a line receiving plate lunches to be cleared out as soon as possible for the next table. (We can get that experience much cheaper and in multiples places) It was the kind of service that turns a customer off of a place. I may go back but will refuse service from that particular server in the future.

    Our dinner was excellent! My husband loves the veal Parmesan with eggplant, he is never disappointed. Last night I had the special. Scallops served over risotto!! So filling and delicious! Hats off to the chef and the attentive wait staff! Our favorite place to dine in Lafayette!

    As usual it was the perfect setting for my wife’s birthday. Excellent spaghetti and the meat balls. Well let’s just say; If you haven’t had them you don’t know what your missing.

    The only thing we did not enjoy was the AC was not on while we were dining at 5pm. It was so hot it was hard to enjoy my glass of Pinot noir with my meal. Usually it feels nice at a restaurant so I wore a long sleeves. I immediately regretted that decision.

    We were a group of 6, 4 were from out of town and had never been to Marcelo’s. The food and service were great. I love the fish with lemon sauce, mushrooms and asparagus. A couple of people ordered the special of the day. They said it was superb! My husband ordered veal, again superb. We had appetizers and wine so no room for dessert. It was a great evening,

    The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for the food was because the fried mozzarella was a little flavorless and definitely not nearly enough sauce. But the rest of the food was OUTSTANDING!

    Outstanding locally owned restaurant with consistently high quality food. Excellent service! Often too noisy in main part of dining area. Strongly recommend. I eat there frequently. Love it. Best tomato basil soup in America.

    Our waitress was Trinity and she was REALLY special. Jordan, the head chef cooked our meal. OOOMMMGGG! I eat the Shrimp Petape every time go. However, this evening it was off the chart! Lots of garlic, pine nuts, and red pepper kick. The pasta dish had 8 large shrimp and lots of sauce on the pasta to keep it moist rather than dry. Bread is unlike anywhere else and they will replenish you serving with fresh olive oil as often as you request. Overall this was 5 stars, worth every penny!

    A fantastic 2 hour+ dining experience. Great food and fantastic service - excellent ratio of servers to tables. All dishes well presented. Exceptional pacing as well; no rush whatsoever. Would highly recommend for any special occasion.

    We really enjoyed our business lunch. There were 4 of us and each enjoyed the meals they selected. I had the chicken piccata. So yummy! The restaurant is very pretty I will return when I am back in Lafayette. We did comment the restaurant would take on a different look in the evening. Quite romantic, I am sure. Thank you !!
