Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. We went with the chefs choice and it was fantastic. The food kept coming. We had our 12 year old with us and even he really enjoyed it. Started if with a cocktail and went with a half bottle of wine with dinner. I had the manager pick out a botttke based on our interest and he hit the nail on the head.

Excellent food and great service! Definitely order the tasting menu, plenty of food and fun to see what the chef creates. All of the food was very well cooked and presented but a couple of the dishes weren’t for our palate. It was busy for a Wednesday night with it being around the holidays but the employees were always very friendly.

We went to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent. The service was also great. Our server Jonathan even let me take pictures of the wine bottles since I track them on an app. Overall wonderful evening.

Had a fun, relaxed meal with friends. Food was very tasty. Squid with pasta was outstanding. My main complaint is small portions at a fairly high price. But overall, a high quality experience. Liked the rustic, casual, yet comfy atmosphere.

Our server (Justin) was outstanding. We are still not used to restaurants adding an automatic gratuity. MH does a good job communicating that this will occur. What did not make sense is they include this service charge as a taxable item - so we were taxed on the service charge. I have not seen this on other checks and is not our experience when we add a tip!

Food was very good. Service was disappointing and given that it wasn’t at all crowded, unclear why we were given so little attention. The automatic 20% service charge eliminates penalties for poor service.

What an odd name right? I'm sure it's to add to the feel of exclusivity which is doubled by the fact that there are only 6 tables. The food was amazing. Super yummy.

My wife and I went on a date night. We had the tasting menu which was great with local ingredients. The wine list was quite eclectic. We have enjoyed wine for decades and recognized very few of the wines. Along with our very helpful server, we decided upon the Santenay which was delightful and an excellent price based upon the quality of the wine. We enjoy trying new restaurants whenever possible, but decided we will be back to this gem.

Overall the experience was enjoyable. I really liked the first few courses; their presentation seemed more thoughtful and creative. The gazpacho, oysters, mussels and scallops were awesome! I thought the main entrée would be seafood too; it was good (pork with lobster mushrooms). The dessert was just fair. A bit odd: I was trying to enter the restaurant and the host closed the glass door on me. When she realized, she asked me if I was trying to find Marine Hardware. I guess there's a lot of confusion about their guests?

Marine Hardware exceeded expectations. This is a tapas style restaurant. The small menu provides enough variety to make it hard to choose a "meal" size portion. My boyfriend and I ordered 3 plates which were a good amount. I'd recommend 4 if you're hungry. They presented their 5-course chef's menu ($65/person) which sounded awesome. I'd love to go back and splurge on that experience in the future.

This was a a fabulous lucky find for us. We were celebrating our 19th Anniversary and decided to do something we never have done. Boy are we GLAD we chose Marine Hardware. We also chose the tasting menu...which definitely was the right choice. Small plates of the most amazing food. Tiny Abalone, Tomato/crab Gazpacho, Local Manila Clams, Agnolotti, Sea Scallops, Duck Breast and a beautiful sampling of many little bites of dessert. Justin was our server and he lit a tiny candle on the plate for our anniversary. We also chose to have the wine pairing option....also incredible choices and perfect with each course. We couldn't believe our eyes and tasters! We will definitely go back for another round. It was SO very well worth the price we paid. We can't afford to go every week, but the choices we got may not have been something we might order on our own, so we would have missed out. It was definitely not overpriced with the quality we received. We don't want to miss a thing, so will do the same next time. Cannot recommend Justin and Marine Hardware any more highly! Tiny, sweet restaurant. Very comfortable, not noisy, but nice music playing. Every staff member was adorable and friendly. Our evening was positively spectacular.

As usual tasting menu was amazing. Ravioli dish with squash flowers, a squash purée, and lobster mushrooms was the highlight of the evening. Trust the chef here and order the tasting menu with pairings, impossible to be disappointed.

I was happy to try this place for a friend's Birthday. We made our reservation two weeks in advance as this place maybe hold 30-40 people. The tasting menu is recommended and I can definitely see why, however my friend and I weren't too hungry. We ordered the bread plate and the butter was amazing. We also ordered the tartare. It was good, however there was a dill/pickled flavor that my palate wasn't a fan of. The pumpernickel chips were delicious though. We also had the potato gnocchi. The lamb was delicious and over it was a good dish. What stood out to me here was the service. We had an excellent waiter and he provided a great description of the dishes and made recommendations.

We ordered the tasting menu and were both very pleased. The first course was actually composed of 5 different small dishes, which explained why they brought two glasses of wine from my wine pairing before it arrived. The rest of the dinner courses were single dish courses and were fantastic. The dessert course was good but a little boring as itwas just a collection of small bites, but we didn't really have room for anything else and so we weren't too disappointed.

We went to Marine Hardware over a year ago and really didn't feel like we got value for what we paid; however, we decided to try again, and we were blown away. They've reformatted the tasting menu (which we got both times), and it's more substantial. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was spectacular.

This is another great restaurant by Ethan Stowell. We had a great experience and the service was wonderful. Our 6 course tasting menu ended up with a few more courses and all were great. The wine flight was excellent in its pairing with each course.

We enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu. Everything was done to perfection. It was a great mix of new and familiar flavors. The wine flight fit each course perfectly. The waiter/wine steward did a nice job of mixing in some personal requests (I wanted one wine to be a rose) and to advise the kitchen that we didn't want oysters. The abalone was a fun appetizer, something you usually do not find on most menus.

We enjoyed the tasting menu and wine pairing. There is plenty of foods and the wine pairs nicely. We enjoyed how they slowed down the bringing of the food toward the end because we were getting full and it was nice to hang out there.

Chose the tasting menu for a table of four with one pescatarian. The dishes were creative and interesting with almost everything working. Kitchen paid attention to dietary restrictions. There were a couple (small) misses (cold cucumber yogurt soup was a little like a sauce) but we were having such a good time it didn't matter.

Food and cocktails were good. Our waiter did a poor job of describing the tasting menu and made a lot of assumptions of what we knew/should know. I took 20-30 minutes to get our drinks because their bar was backed up.

Had the tasting menu. Would recommend it and they were very flexible in modifying it (my wife doesn't eat seafood), but the last course (dessert) was pretty disappointing. Just some biscotti with a bunch of finger desserts like truffles that you can just buy anywhere an plop on the plate.

We had the tasting menu and wine pairing. Perfect for foodies. Small restaurant, intimate feel. Justin our server was knowledgeable and paced the meal very well. Huge portions. Left completed satisfied. Everything we tried was exceptional. Bar tender was also very helpful. Very friendly staff , all very welcoming. Away from the tourist area but well worth the cab ride. Loved every minute.
