My friend wanted to order something that wasn't on the brunch menu (eggs benedict) and the restaurant had no problem providing them with what they wanted. We were given some delicious amuse bouche and madeleines gratis as a starter. My vegan truffle mushroom pizza was decadent and delicious.

Super friendly service. I made reservations for my sister’s birthday and they gave her a complimentary dessert and a little birthday postcard. Definitely recommend if you are willing to splurge a little.

What a brilliant night. We have visited Michelin restaurants throughout the world but this restaurant blew us away.
We sat in the atrium with chandelier lighting overlooking a part of the city that made us feel like we were a part of the excitement of New York City.
We were greeted by Dil. What a sweet man. His warmth and gentle attention made us feel like family. His suggestions regarding the menu were spot on and our tasting 5 course meal was absolutely unbelievable.
We met Louigi too. He was our wine pairing expert and his choices for each course was so precise. Louigi also stayed with us after our meal to entertain us with some exquisite digestives, absolutely gorgeous.
Our chef, Alex came out to see how we were enjoying our night, and what an amazingly talented man. His fresh and thoughtful food was pure magic.
This was our first visit and certainly not our last.
Thankyou Dil, Alex and Louigi for making this an unforgettable experience.
P.S. I’ve already booked to come back for lunch. 💋

Market by Jean-Georges is one of our two favorite restaurants in Vancouver. This restaurant serves brilliantly prepared, creative food from the region that is absolutely delicious. There is also a great bar with wonderful wine and cocktails. The staff is outstanding. There is nothing about this place that we do not love, enough so that we are eating there twice on an eight-day vacation.

This restaurant may be overlooked because it's not visible from street. However, the decor is beautiful, and the food is consistently very good. Staff is friendly and professional.

This place is phenomenal! The food is AMAZING! Of course I shouldn't be surprised because it's Jean-Georges but I really do love the food. I can for brunch and ordered the avocado toast with the poached eggs. And also ordered the bacon, roasted heirloom tomatoes, roasted potatoes, and croissants. It was all delicious! And of course, last but not the least, the staff was wonderful! Very attentive & super helpful! I will definitely be back & will recommend to everyone!

We always go to Market for special occasions (birthdays or anniversaries or weddings), or whenever we have foodie friends come into town. I have been vegan for nine years and it's the best place in town to be able to enjoy a superior quality meal for everyone at the table. The meat eaters get a gourmet meal and so do I! Everyone wins!

I would absolutely recommend this place. I was there for my birthday dinner, which was amazing. We got complimentary prosecco, as well as a complimentary dessert. The food was more than amazing, the staff super friendly and caring. They even created an extra cocktail for my friend who wasn't sure what she would like.
Best restaurant in Vancouver :)

The stellar terrace setting for dinner provided a superb opportunity to appreciate the beauty of Vancouver. The added touch of the attractive blanket helped when a breeze cropped up. Having visited Granville Public Market that afternoon, we definitely noted how truly fresh the ingredients were for the selection of dishes we shared. The Market by Jean-Georges certainly deserved its name for the top notch menu, supreme creativity and exquisite presentation of the honeydew gazpacho with prawns and macrons, a pair of salads (special kudos to the salad combination of beets and blackberries with cashews and granola), and the scallops with roasted cauliflower and caper/raisin emulsion. The peanut butter chocolate bar lives on in my tastebuds' Hall of Fame. Our waiter was congenial and fun to chat with as each course arrived. Even the black marble bathrooms were striking.
My friend and I come from culinary/catering backgrounds and have to gush about this memory-making dining experience.

Great & creative food. Fantastic service. Nice wine list with excellent help form the server in assisting with pick a bottle. Although the restaurant was a little tricky to find...we got a good story out of it. We walked into the market next door and asked where the restaurant Market was. They pointed to the back of the store where they have a cafeteria...too funny.

Our server, Dyllan was a very pleasing man who was very enthusiastic to make sure our first experience with Market was memorable. It was my father's birthday, but I didn't not tell them, and they were disappointed, because they would have given us a complimentary cake. It's the thought that counts, thank you Market

Attractive dining room with comfortable seating and good spacing between tables. My first course, the fois gras was over sauced and not inspiring, however my wife’s shrimp salad with champagne sauce was excellent. The short ribs may have been the best either of has ever eaten and the rack of lamb was
well prepared

We came here for our 7 year anniversary and we loved our experience here. Their attention to detail and service blew us away. The food was to die for; we highly recommend their asparagus and poached shrimp soup, their steelhead sashimi, their chicken and the sablefish. Our server JP was awesome; he gave us some complimentary bubbly which was so kind of him. We loved our date here and can’t wait to come back in the future.

At the price point, the food quality makes a pretty clear statement that Jean-Georges is cashing in on his reputation. Tried it twice and both times were a letdown.

I expected more out of the service for a place like this, but the service was just adequate. The food was okay, the mushroom soup was really good and the ling cod was decent. However, the lamb bolognese was underwhelming.

The ambience was nice and we had a nice view of the busy streets and shops.

We had a decent experience, but I don't think I would go back here or recommend this place to a friend.

I have always wanted to go to Market and took the opportunity to go with a friend. The experience was beyond my expectation. The service was impeccable and the server was very knowledgeable and patient. While I was waiting for my friend, the bartender was very kind to offer snacks with water even without me asking for it. He was coming from time to time to make conversation and check on me. The steelhead I ordered was cooked to perfection and it was the first time this happened, so I was very pleased about that. The oysters and dessert we shared were delicious. What a great experience! Thank you.
