Marks, established in 2003, was built into a historic, turn-of-the-century home nestled into a quaint business district in Omaha’s historic Dundee main-street neighborhood that has thrived since the early 1900’s.
Marks’ vision for the menu is to create dishes with a hint of French influence, balanced with some Asian accents, along with good old American.

In addition to street parking in front, we have five spaces in the rear, off the alley, two reserved for handicapped access, and the Clearview center across the street (4913 Underwood) has given us permission to use their spaces in the evening. There are 8 spaces behind their building, and it is almost never full.

6:15 reservations for 2. I had the pork cheeks and my wife had chicken stuffed with figs, both very good. For dessert I had bread pudding with a scoop of their homemade ice cream, my wife had Cream brule, again both very good. Noise level not bad but it was a Wednesday. I enjoy Mark's and we come here every 3 to 4 weeks.

We celebrated with friends after having our marriage of 28 years blessed in a ceremony at St Cecelia Cathedral that morning. We love Marks & go back often for special occasions. The only drawback is the acoustics—it gets very loud.

This was the first time I had been to Mark’s and we were seated at a great table. The server offered recommendations on the menu and even put a candle in my creme brûlée for my birthday. Wonderful ambiance and the food was delicious! It was a little loud, but that usually means a sign of a popular place to eat! The restaurant was full even at 9pm. Definitely will be back!

Apps came before drinks even though we ordered them before and separately. Potato on entree way over fried. Steak very under done. Risotto and dessert was good. Just a really almost average experience.

It was my wife’s birthday. It was way to hot in the restaurant to enjoy the experience. When the air conditioning periodically came on we were all fine. However, it hardly came on. We were looking to leave as soon as we could. Unfortunately, it was a terrible experience.

We were traveling from out of town and called to say we were running behind. They held our reservation even though the restaurant was starting to fill up. Mark’s is in the Dundee neighborhood on the upper level of a house turned commercial property. The decor was pretty dated, but still attractive. Our server was attentive and accommodating when we told her we were in a bit of a rush. We had the snack Mac and cheese as an appetizer. It was piping hot, just the right size, and very delicious. My husband had the sliders and I had the chicken lasagna. Both dishes were excellent! Plan to arrive a little early to find a place to park. There is no parking lot, so you’ll have to park on the street and may need to walk a bit.

First time at Marks. Our table shared the brussel sprouts and the artichoke bruschetta. Tasty and satisfying. Everyone ordered something different. My scallops special was very good. The scallops were presented nicely on a pumpkin half. Other meals at our table included pasta, main dish salad and chicken lasagna. All were good. My bread pudding great with the whiskey sauce. The poundcake was dry. They did comp us for the desserts because of an issue in the kitchen.We didn’t expect that, but we appreciated the gesture. While we waited for the desserts, our waitress made sure she kept us informed as to what was happening.Our waitress, Holli, catered to our every need. We will come again. We hope to sit on the patio. Thank you for a nice evening.

Mark's is an old favorite tucked into the heart of Dundee. The chicken lasagna and risotto are top-notch, as are the soups and salads. Great spot for lunch or dinner, no matter the occasion. Will continue to come back!

Had a wonderful time at this restaurant with family. We sat outside on their patio on a beautiful evening. The lush greenery and flowers were especially lovely. A unique thing about their patio is that they had different levels and areas which made your experience seem very private. Although the food we had was pretty good, I was looking for a place that served risotto, I was disappointed that the main course was not served with a house salad or at least bread for the table. I would however suggest trying this restaurant as it was a nice dining experience.

Marks is a go-to when we have family or friends in town. The atmosphere is perfect for date night, or a night out with friends. We reserved a room for a private group over the holidays and our guests loved the charming space and well-prepared food. The service is reliable and professional, atmosphere is inviting and important for us, they offer gluten free and vegetarian options even on their dessert menu.

I’ve been to Marks Bistro several times, one of my favorites. Unfortunately, service was slow. My scallops and mashed potatoes were cold. I was a bit confused and asked if it was a salad type of dish. The server indicated it should be served hot. Took it to the kitchen and approximately 10 minutes later brought the same plate of food back.... warmed up with a microwave I presume...not good at all. Left it unfinished Must have been an off day.

It's rare for me to give Mark's low marks, but since you asked...on this night, the server was sub-par. I had to ask his name and he was not attentive to our table. Long time in between visits and other servers brought us our food and drinks. He described the specials in french or whatever and we had no idea what they were so had to get clarity. Not a ton of personality and not the usual Mark's way that makes it all come together into a fun experience.
