This is the most luxurious experience in Puerto Rico. Similar to NYC best restaurants, this is one of those that you have 5 courses and great selection of wines, cocktails and spirits. All is great!

If you are looking for a outstanding dining experience, that is what they deliver here. Our full experience from check in to closing was phenomenal. Spring for the wine pairing for a complete refresh of your pallet. Major thanks to Jesus for a wonderful bar program and knowledgeable delivery of the extensive wine selection. Standout offerings in the specialty soup, steak tartare, gnocchi, and beef tenderloin. Highly recommended for any foodie/ wino tourism or special occasions, our birthday celebration was out of this world. Many thanks to the whole team! Will be back

Wayne, Thank you for the celebration visit last night with your wife..... As you are now aware of, Marmalade only offers a five-course tasting format comprised of over 40 different items to choose from. When you arrived later in the evening, you insisted on only enjoying two courses each as it neared 10 pm. We happily agreed with your request and allowed each of you to make your individual selections. The reason you are disappointed with the portion sizes is because you chose to select only two dishes instead of five Wayne. Had you simply followed our dining experience and allowed us to guide you through the menu you would have the amazing experience that you read about online. Service was very poor for a fine dining course dinner experience.Server wasn’t objective or technical about explaining the plates, she will always speak about her favorite plates based on her food preferences and not able to actually explain the fusions, ingredients and textures of the plate, this made us make wrong choices based on lack of information. There was non recommendations for drinks or wine so my husband ended ordering a straight whiskey. One of the courses I didn’t like it at all and it was server recommendations, I let her know when she came up the table yet she didn’t do anything to change my experience and just left. Two of the other courses were cold, but we didn’t want to bother so we didn’t say anything at all. Finally, When main dishes came, server never came to check on us and see if we like our main dishes, she even pass by from far acknowledge and look that we got the food but never came until we were over and my husband actually didn’t like at all his main dish since it was way to strong on multiple species. Overall It was not a good experience for a fine dinning course birthday experience as we were looking for a special occasion.

The best meal we have ever had and we are foodies. From start to finish the team serving us was pleasant, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The owner even made it a point to check in throughout the meal to see if we needed anything. The meal is pre fixe but you get to choose from more than 4 or 5 items for each course. If we lived in San Juan we would visit often.

A superbly executed event! The ambience was special, the food was outstanding and the service perfectly complemented the food. Overall an excellent experience. Today is my birthday and I wanted to treat myself to some really great food and amazing service. I chose the perfect spot!!! From the moment I walked in everyone was so nice and smiling. I never wanted for anything. The staff really was at my beck and call. Every single dish they placed on my table was devoured! The dessert was even bomb. I'd definitely come again and I recommend everyone to try it out if you ever I'm PR. A man and women I believe were the owners or managers made sure they came by my table personally to make sure I was satisfied. The staff including those two told me happy birthday and even gave me a card signed by everyone. That chef deserves everything!!!!! It was the best experience and worth every dollar. I gladly spend the same amount again!

Outstanding service from the whole staff! I had my birthday dinner here and the servers along with the management team wished me HB and gave me a birthday card signed by the staff. Definitely recommended!!

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. From A-Z what a great experience. I ordered flowers to be delivered to the restaurant and they had set up in a beautiful decorated table. I would definitely recommend it 👌

Awesome food! We had a table in the back, it felt very private like we had our own section of the restaurant. Our server was Jesus and he was great; extremely knowledgeable in regards to all the food and drinks. The restaurant gives you proper breaks in between each course as well.

Expensive, we only learned about the $135/ person the DAY of the reservation when they called to confirm. Couldn’t cancel by then! White bean soup was the best dish. All others were forgettable. Lamb was extremely salty and the almond cake was absolutely terrible. Would not recommend. Keep searching! Don’t waste your money

Since our opening, 18 years ago, we have only offered a tasting menu format in which the guests get to create individually their own degustation. We don't offer an ala carte menu, it is simply not the experience we are curating. If you visit the restaurant site online and hundred if not thousands of additional links describing the dining experience and what to expect from our seasonal menus and (16 year) award winning wine list.

It’s a nice place and the service is excellent but there was a really loud patron cackling like a hyena in the restaurant. Food was ok - some dishes were good and some not so much.

Beautiful decor, cozy and private seating. The food was excellent (Fluke Crudo, White Bean Soup, Gnocchi, “3 Pigs” all exceptional). Great wine list!! Best aspect, however was service. Paul curated our entire culinary experience (birthday for a pescatarian guest with gluten allergy) and he was outstanding, engaging, highly trained and knowledgeable. His recommendations we are outstanding. He went above and beyond at every turn. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful evening.
