Amazing experience, atmosphere and food!!!!
Amazing food - we just had apps. So much flavour and quality. Fresh too!
The food was perfectly cooked and decent portions. We enjoyed our meal!
Great food , quick service , perfect for lunch , well done
Very good but expensive. Service was a 5 star. I would go there twice a year.
The food was good. It was the male server we had that ruined it for us. We sat a long time and finally I waved him down so we could order drinks. He never came to see us again to see how we were doing even once or to ask if we wanted another drink. He was constantly chatting it up with other staff.
Didn’t ask if we wanted dessert just came over with the bill. There were 4 servers and maybe 6 tables with 2-4 people at each one (nobody outside). It was like they didn’t care.
No interest in returning for that reason alone.
I was out for lunch with friends. A couple of us chose one of the lunch specials
which included fattoush salad, hummus and shawarma chicken.
There were pitas as well. Everything was very good.
There are many choices and the food is always excellent. Employees checked
that we were happy with our food, on more than one occasion.
We had a noon reservation indoors and stayed until 4pm. We were not asked to leave. We also had the option of eating in tents outside with heaters.
It is the first restaurant I would recommend to anyone wanting Lebanese food.
The best humus I’ve ever had.
Wonderful dining experience
Ambiance was lovely good food and service . The virgin drink was tooo sweet but other than that everything was exceptional
We felt rushed since the second we got there. Our waiter was more interested to get us out as quick as possible other than let us enjoy our dinner.
I ordered the Shish Duo. The rice was cold and the portion was extremely small. This was my first time trying Mazaar out and I will never return.
Delicious meal and wonderful service: apps, mains, desserts, and drinks!
Wonderful to be eating out
Sat ourside because one guest forgot proof of vaccine; however, it was lovely being outside. The patio seating was excellent.
Always a wonderful evening, food and staff outstanding
Our travel date had changed and we ended up driving into Windsor the same day. The staff was great at having to adjust our reservation 2x. We were greeted and seated promptly.
Our server was fantastic and was very good to replace and re-make the Negroni my Husband had ordered. Our food portions were good, would have liked more vegetable sides with the Beiruti fish dish tho. We were also anticipating a more generous portion of the hummus as well as the halloumi & fig considering they are sharing items. Perhaps we are basing them on portions given in similar establishments in Toronto.
The only thing we didn't like was when the DJ had set up and started playing music. Other tables nearby also complained that it was WAY too loud. Conversations couldn't be continued and the vibration of the music made it an uncomfortable setting. Thank goodness we were near the end of our meal and didn't have to endure this for too long.
Yes there should be music but NOT at that loud level where conversations amongst diners at the same table cannot hear one another. It put a bad finish on our reservation. Also, the seemingly attentive staff during our meal did not acknowledge us or thank us on our way out, even though she saw us getting up to leave.
Our group would only recommend Mazaar for some of the entrees dishes but not necessarily recommend for a good in-dining experience simply because of the LOUD obsurb level of music that ensued. it really did ruin it for us.
Very good food and atmosphere
Excellent food outstanding service, amazing patio, music and singer added to the enjoyment
Went there for our 10th wedding anniversary.
Walked in, was asked if we had a reservation by one of the staff. Told them the name. Then someone else came to look up the reservation. Then another person came to seat us.
We were sitting at the table for 15 mins. No one came to take our drink order or drop off water. Menus were down and off to the side to indicate we were ready to order our meal.
Dining room was pretty empty except for the 10 staff. We were seated in plain view. Manager came out from the back several times. Didn’t acknowledge us.
We ended up leaving without being served. No one even said anything to us when we left.
I don’t mind waiting when it’s obvious staff are overwhelmed. But it was clear they were over staffed and being ignored by the manager is also disheartening.
We’ve been to this location several times without an issue. Was really disappointed with this experience.
The ambience with the tents and flowers was very pleasant! The food was served at just the right pace and was delicious!
This is usually one of my favourite eateries. This time, we were sat by the patio door in an otherwise pretty empty dining room and just had a constant stream of servers in and out the door all evening. The patio was busy and the Inside dining room seemed to just be an extension of the kitchen with staff just communicating loudly with each other in an otherwise quiet dining room. We seems to have multiple servers, just whoever was passing by it seemed. All were friendly and professional but we just seemed to be an afterthought. Food was good though we weren’t offered bread for some reason (think this is usually standard?), and the fattoush had way too much dressing so I couldn’t eat the last bites as they were just too saturated in dressing.
I’ll still return as I normally really enjoy this place, just one disappointing experience.
My friends and I went to mazzar on cabana on Thursday at 8, as soon as we got there our waitress did not welcome us, she just said sit wherever you want and said we close in an hour. We made a reservation that let us pick 8 pm. The waitress was extremely rude and not welcoming, we understand they closed in an hour, but she could’ve been nice about it. She told us to to “chug” our drinks because they need to close. Worst service I’ve had.
Delicious! Staff was extremely attentive, food was delicious and cappuccino was the best!
Much better than the last visit in March
First time there, great food, great staff. Definitely will be back!
Our waiter was excellent. He made suggestions to help our teens decide on a dessert, he was so nice and kept our drinks filled, checked on us just the right amount. The food was delicious and plentiful. We always have a great experience here!
Staff were accomodating, friendly and capable. Food was excellent with the minor exception of the Kabobs, which were somewhat overdone, but still tasty.
Food was terrific. Server made a mistake with one order but did not bother to correct, just took home the extra hummus and pita.
We loved the meals we’ve had at the original Mazaars, but haven’t been there in a few years. Fir my husband’s birthday we tried the new location. The new location has a good vibe inside and out but the food wasn’t what we remember from meals at the original location. The pita bread is still great. The hummus was a bit bland. The deep fried potatoes, lamb and chicken were all dry and served warm, not hot. I’d definitely give them another chance because perhaps after reopening from co-vid they are still working out the kinks.
Absolutely delicious meal, great service and great atmosphere.
Mazaar now has no gluten-free pitas that they once had before! Also, the beef needed to be re-made to make rare beef, not well done; it was redone very good. The outside tables were too close and not comfortable chairs and table. The service was very good.
The food was decent but the service was lacking. Servers could have been more attentive to customers. Often they were standing in a group at the bar or sitting in a booth.
Unfriendly staff, appetizers were amazing but the main course was not good at all. Not worth spending almost 200CAD.
Delicious meal. Never disappointing. Great service
A little pricey but the fresh pita & hummus worth every cent.
We wait long for our order 2 table ordered after us and got food first
Marvellous lunch specials and efficient, friendly service were highlights. The food was tasty, drinks were cold and our waiter Abe was pleasant and attentive. A wonderful experience in their charmingly outfitted “COVID pavilion ”!
Waitress and waiters need to be trained on how to behave.I had to wait for 20 minutes for waiter to come & take order..Uhh what a place!!
The globes set up outside were cute, the staff was amazing, and the food as delicious as always
The staff was very friendly the food was excellent I thought I died woke up in Beirut.
The service was excellent and the tent was better than most booths I've sat in.
The staff took care of all our needs.
