We celebrated my wife's birthday. We were comfortable and unrushed. Our waiter was polite, helpful and extremely efficient. He gave good input on the menu; answering our every question. Our food was promptly delivered. My steak was perfectly prepared, tender and delicious. My wife's crab cakes were likewise perfect. I have already recommended to a friend and look forward to our return.

Our waitress was great. Cocktails and wine were great. We arrived right at 5pm. We received only two corn muffins. My chicken dish arrived and it was raw. The waitress and owner came right over and they brought me out another chicken dish that was cooked perfectly. I should have ordered what I wanted as my chicken did not have a ton of meat on it.

The food was absolutely amazing. The best Duck Gumbo I have ever tasted. I got the steak and eggs Benedict which was fantastic. Our waitress was incredible too.

Food was delicious...my husband had the sea bass with polenta and said it was the best he has ever had. I had the drunken chicken, it was great (huge) came with black-eye peas that weredelicious. Highly recommend....

Outstanding as usual, by far the best place I know to go in oxford, great food , great staff and always deceiver a high level of satisfaction; Tres is the best attendee that i have had the pleasure of being sat with. We love him and will be back again soon

Excellent restaurant. We had buttermilk fried oysters and duck combo as our appetizers. Both incredible. The duck breast entree was outstanding! The banana cream pie for dessert was delicious. The speciality cocktails were delightful. We highly recommend the restaurant and will be back on our next visit to Oxford!

McEwen's made for an awesome birthday treat for my husband. Upon arrival, we were greeted, and it was sweet that she knew it was us for a 7:30 p.m. reservation. We were immediately seated, and I must say we had the sweetest server. She helped hubby choose a good wine and was even honest when she could not describe the difference; she went to the bar and got clarification. I must say, I would definitely be back. My cedar plank salmon was DELISH, and my husband's steak was perfectly cooked. Whatever you guys are doing, KEEP IT UP!!!
