I’ve been here a couple of times mainly on special occasions and haven’t had any issues with the waitresses as they’ve always been lovely and 100% excellent service, but this time the waiter we had spoke in a rough, annoyed manner. Her accent was strong so we had to ask back/forth a couple of times so wasn’t sure if that was what annoyed her. The word I used was can we please get the banquet menu and she snapped ‘no banquet here only set menu.’ She was definitely different to the other waitresses we normally get who were friendly and gentle. Girlfriend found this place on both Social Media and through adverts and such. We went while on a short weekend to Melbourne, and I will say, that the Omakase that they provide is amazing. The food on the night was a 19 course menu, each meal tasting unique from one another. All the food served on the night was prepared and made to eat in front of us. A very friendly as well as a very knowledgeable chef, providing an explanation for each meal prepared for us. If you are after a fun dining experience with some fantastic Japanese Omakase, this is definitely the place to book and try out. The price for the dining experience was dear but I would say, the experience, the company as well as the great food is worth every cent. I highly recommend this to those who are interested in a good Omakase experience and want to have a good evening out with partners/friends. MoreOpenTable Diner -

Serving fusion dishes bordering on technicolour food art, Sash Restaurant on Chapel Street in Windsor is pulling in a crowd.
An ideal blend of restaurant and bar, this funky night spot is all sleek, dark spaces with neon signs and downlights, creating a moody, jazzy vibe, from a vibrant wall mural to bench tables overlooking the tap room. Sash’s original menu concept takes dishes from around the globe and fuses them with Japanese flavours – resulting in taste sensations like spicy tuna tacos, Japanese inspired pizzas and other great ‘Izakaya’ options.
