Diners' Choice Winners: Best Overall
Melbourne / VIC's best restaurants based upon thousands of OpenTable diner reviews
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food and service were outstanding and the interaction with the chef made for a fun and interesting evening. They've taken the model of kaiseki with a commitment to Australian only sourced product. Apart from the NT they had sourced for our menu product from every state in Australia. If you like Japanese cuisine and want a fine dining experience without the stuffiness that sometimes comes with that then you'll enjoy The Table at Kisume. MoreOpenTable Diner -

A ground-breaking new concept from Shannon Bennett’s Vue Group, Iki-jime is the CBD’s first seafood-only restaurant. A sleek, aesthetically evocative space plays host to an innovative menu that’s focus is fresh, ethically sourced seafood. A unique, intimate dining experience forged from quality ingredients and restrained cooking techniques, each dish celebrates the unparalleled calibre of Australian produce and the relationship between topography and seasonality.
Featuring both a more refined, comprehensive style of gastronomy in the Iki-jime dining room as well as a lighter, less formal proposition in Bar Jime, each distinct offering is complimented by a highly-considered wine and cocktail list. The thoughtfully considered interior has been designed to cater to both intimate, personable dining experiences, as well as to fit the purpose of my commercially intended, corporate dining needs.More
