The food to table experience was outstanding. Everyone commented how much they enjoyed the food. From the cabbage salad to the Hoppin john to the Fried Patole Sole/Fried Chicken all the food was well seasoned and prepared. We even received free chocolate chip cookies. Great music complemented the great food. I will definitely go back!

My friend and I were celebrating our December birthdays. We chose to dine at Ceron Kitchen in Alameda. We both ordered the pork chop. Which was very delicious. To our surprise we were given a complimentary glass of champagne, in honor of our birthdays. Our server Arnold was superb. He helped with our dinner selection and made our dining experience even more enjoyable.

We are so lucky to have this place as our neighborhood go-to!! The food is always outstanding, and the service is impeccable, with an attentive style that remains down-to-earth and low-key in the best way. Creative and innovative cocktails are served by approachable staff in a hip yet comfortable atmosphere. During our most recent visit, we shared the Oakland Ceasar, which included flavorful, bright cherry tomatoes and lettuce perfectly dressed with avocado Caesar dressing. We split two entrees, one being the duck breast, pomegranate-cabbage salad, and sweet potato puree in a rich and well-balanced sauce. The serving size was large but such that we didn't feel overstuffed. The other entree we shared was the chard-wrapped whitefish (grouper?) and brussell spouts in another delicious sauce, which was also exceptional. They offer a number of small plates that looked delicious and we're looking forward to trying those when we return. Couches, bar seats, and high tops are available for reservation beyond dining tables. Such an inviting place that's easy to love. I bring all of my out of town visitiors to this favorite neighborhood gem :)

This is a local gem. You don't have to go to Napa to have a nice glass of wine and enjoy a beautiful view. This is a great place to meet friends or celebrate a special occasion.

Discover San Francisco

Farm-to-table is everywhere now, but it was here first. Just north of San Francisco, the values-forward counties of Marin and Sonoma offer an abundance of sustainably sourced produce. Of course, there’s more to eat in the Bay than leafy greens alone—don’t miss the mainstays like Cioppino (a seafood stew best eaten with thick-cut garlic bread), Mission-style burritos, local oysters and Neapolitan pizza where pizzerias around town war for the ultimate version. The city has long been home to distinct international flavors, so for authentic dim sum, Chinatown tops the charts. The Mission is ablaze with longstanding taquerias, steakhouses and a new wave of artisanal bakeries and coffee houses. And the Fisherman’s Wharf, while touristy, is the spot for Bay caught seafood. From there, we recommend walking to Crissy Field for Golden Gate Bridge gazing and sparkling sunshine.
