- CClaireVIPVancouver / British Columbia •157 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoContrary to several friends who had tried Elio Volpe and weren't that impressed, we were wow'd. First of all, the service was amazing. Our server was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and able to really connect with everyone at our table. He asked questions but was not intrusive. Different people delivered food and drinks to the table, and there were others who cleared away dishes. The restaurant was well staffed and the teamwork was very well orchestrated. Well trained top notch service. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. The salads were very generously sized, the pizza was just right for six people to all have a slice, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the main courses very enjoyable. Three different desserts shared amongst six people was just the right finish. The restaurant was hopping. It was nice and calm when we arrived at 5 pm but as it started to fill up it became a bit noisy. Elio Volpe is a restaurant that we'd like to have on regular rotation as we enjoyed everything about it so much but it's a little pricey to go back as often as we would like. But we will definitely be back.More infoElio VolpePrice: Expensive• Italian• Fairview•4.8
