   The jazz combo was quite good and the food was excellent. The wait staff was also unobtrusive, but attentive. All in all it was a great date night for an old married couple.

   Disappointed. Believed the reviews. My dinner was way over cooked. My server did not ask why I didn't want it. She was too busy restocking the bar to worry about our needs.

   I was a little ahead of my reservation but was seated promptly. I received a drink and service while I waited. Server was friendly as well as understanding that we went a little long on the back end as well. Food was hot and very good! Had lasagna on my mind all day and it didn’t disappoint.

   What a wonderful find! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy. All the staff are friendly and provide just the right amount of attention. The food was fabulous. We shared the meatball appetizer and the wedge salad on happy hour. Both were wonderful. Then we split the shrimp scampi/angel hair entree. We topped off the meal with spumoni ice cream, which by the way is very hard to find and most Italian restaurants do not even have it. The menu is varied from pizzas to pasta, fish, chicken, veal and more. Oh, and this restaurant is family owned. They open at 3pm daily, with happy hour from 3-5pm. We plan to eat here again and again even tho it is 35 miles one way and an hour away from our home.

    Food was good just very slow. Took almost 45 minutes for salads. Server tried to be good but had to be asked multiple times for things. Overall would recommend the restaurant

    We have been here during lunch and dinner and every time we’ve had great service and the food is consistently good, portions are perfectly sized and staff is always kind and welcoming. The beet salad keeps us going back, it’s plenty for two people as a starter.

    I was very disappointed in this trip to Mezzo. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had there. It started in a room for our reservation that was so dark we all used cell phone flash lights to read the menu. Then 3 of us ordered Italian Wedding soup and it came out cold without the meatballs. When we told them they took it back and returned with the meatballs but it was still not hot. The calamari was like rubber as well. Now from the appetizers we went to the main course. Most main courses were good but mine was awful. I order the tenderloin and it seemed like it was 3 days old and was extremally well done and like shoe leather. I only ate 2 slices of the tenderloin and then only ate the potatoes. I didn't send it back since it was useless when we sent the soup back earlier. It's a shame because I really liked it here in the past. I will not return. It appeared there was something going on in the back with an issue but that still isn't an excuse. Very disappointed.

    Our party of 4 had spaghetti with white clam sauce, chicken parmigiana with rigatoni, baked ziti and broiled salmon with asparagus. Each meal was superb. The wait staff was perfectly attentive. All in all, Mezzo is our new go to Italian Restaurant. We will go back as soon as the winds due down and eat in their outside space. zBravi, Mezxo!

    We had the best time tonight! We came really hungry. But, after ordering calamari, we were stuffed! We ordered 2 pizzas and when they brought them out to us we couldn’t believe the size! We tried our best, we really did, but could only eat 3 slices. We brought the other Six pieces home with us! ALWAYS A GOOD TIME AT MEZZO!

    Never disappoints. Food - was excellent, full of flavor, very generous portions. Staff - friendly and seem to enjoy serving the customers while there. Even the busers are very pleasant and helpful. Ambience - very relaxing was able to talk and have a successful dinner meeting.

    Your GPS may have a hard time finding this gem but you should persist! This is a lovely fine dining establishment with low lighting (sometimes a little too low) and plenty of space between tables. We had a party of 8 so we were seated in a semi-private alcove off the main dining room. The menu includes a wide variety of options making this a great place for people of all eating persuasions. The service was a little off the night we were there. Several times we were brought food that wasn't ours and the server was a bit abrupt at times. Everyone was very happy with their food -- I share the vegetable pizza with a friend and we both thought it was one of the best things we had ever had. Everyone else in our party loved their meals. Portion sizes were very large making this a great value. I would for sure recommend eating here with a group or on a date.

    Want great Italian food? Look no further. The authentic taste and portions will not disappoint. There is the regular menu, which in itself is amazing, then add the weekly appetizer and main course specials, and it all adds up to a must visit.
