The service was incredible the food was great and no complaints on the visit, it was to celebrate a birthday and an anniversary that was ten days later and we were taken very good care of but I have to be honest the prices are a little jacked but as the saying goes you get what you pay for so if you want to make a night special and don't have a mortgage payment soon Michael's on Simcoe will make that night special
The service, food, and ambience was amazing! Would recommend for a special occasion!
An outstanding experience. Steve and Peter went out of their way to make our visit so spectacular. One of the steak cuts was a bit tough but everything else was 10 out of 10!!!!
The most incredible restaurant! Everything is PERFECT!
The food and service are always good! Great steak!! Will keep going back.
An overall good experience. Went for my partner's birthday and the place was gorgeous. Service was great and the food was fantastic. I would go back again for sure.
Food was amazing great customer service I love the atmosphere great place to go with the wife or the girlfriend definitely will have a great time I love the live music
Great night out.
Exceptional service and a very delicious food!
Very good restaurant. The food was excellent and the waiters very attentive.
Restaurant is amazing , food is great ! Service is one of the best I’ve seen
very expensive but if you enjoy fine dining well worth the money
had a travelzoo voucher as did at least half the packed restaurant. $139 for a 5 course meal for 2 which was fab. felt like royalty dining in such a posh place. i would only recommend to a friend if they did the deal. couldnt afford the regular menu
Staff were very formal, they could be warmer and smile. Food is good however it is smaller than other higher end restaurants. In addition, main food presentation could be more creative, it was pretty standard, but the dessert was pretty. Decor is decent and more appropriate for an evening. Live band was great - good place for a drink (expensive though)!
We had winterlicious menu. Excellent appetizers and desserts. Duck leg had practically no garnish. Portions are small.
Great restaurant and atmosphere highly recommend for any occasion 😄
Awesome Winterlicious menu! Love their mushroom ragu, angus striploin and sticky toffee pudding!
One of the best steaks I had in the long time. Service is friendly and personal, wine selection is great and had mid-range price options that were amazing. We appreciated few compliments from the restaurant (appetizer and after meal drink). Definitely it is a great place to visit if you dont mind to spend $200+ per person.
Great service, amazing wine list and food to pair with.
We had an amazing evening. Food and drink lived up to all expectations.
Excellent Winterlicious dinner, thanks so much!
Our waiter Etienne was absolutely brilliant with us and the food was fantastic, can’t wait to be back
Michael's on Simcoe is one of my top go to restaurants. I go there at least once per year and always satisfied. Everything from the ambiance straight down to the food is A+.
Dining here is enhanced by dim lighting and an accomplished pianist quietly playing familiar pop tunes in a quasi classical way - great for a date night. Can't go wrong with beef cooked exactly to one's specifications. Desserts are beyond good. Service is friendly and helpful, but don't be in a rush - place is busy with happy customers, deservedly so.
It’s hard to give a proper
Excellent service. Food was very good. I had steak and side of Brussels spouts. Both were excellent and prepared well. Staff help select wine that paired well with my meal. Overall great experience
The food were too salty that evening.
The service was excellent but I guess my expectations for the food were too high. My steak was "okay" but honestly I've had much better at the Keg.
Our meals were delicious; the trout ceviche was wonderful and the Angus steaks were perfect. We will certainly return to Michaels on Simcoe
Food was out in a timely manner, employees were all kind and attentive. We did winterlicious and it was great!
Incredible food, amazing service. Can’t go wrong! Highly recommend.
Service is not impressive. Need to make a few attempts with the server before getting the required items. When asked to split the bill between 3 parties, server did not do so and one of the parties paid his portion with the visa bill saying approved but the server said it didn't show up on their system and asked my friend to make another transaction. Then she requested my friend to check online or call the bank to see if the transaction went through...We have 2 toddlers with us and it is just a waste of time. Food is okay, soup is not hot enough. I expected the steak to be better since this restaurant is one of the top steakhouse. Dessert is great though.
