I thoroughly enjoyed every part of the meal, from the food to the service. It was all awesome. My grilled cheese with bacon was delicious. Highly recommended!
A very well designed restaurant with Canadiana ambience and a wide ranging menu. We had the fish and chips which included a substituted chick pea and spinach salad. Everything was tasty. The decor is artistic and upscale, with local art displayed and for sale. A nice patio in the back looked inviting. The local Wellington ale and craft beer selection is great! Worth the trip!
Service and food were excellent as always ... The chickpeas on th salad were not roasted as indicated on the menu however.
This was my 3rd lunch with friends at Miijidaa in the last couple of months. Once again the food was good, the "wines of the 'hood" bottled by Vineland Estate were excellent, and the service warm and attentive. I think the lunch menu could be a tad more ambitious and interesting than it is in its current form, but the quality is good. I'll return.
Very pleasant evening. The staff were friendly and helpful. Next time I’ll ask to not sit at a high top - we were pretty uncomfortable after about 30 minutes but there weren’t a lot of free tables so we didn’t ask to move.
Lovely, relaxing time together.. Highly recommend - Excellent service and good food.
Overall our experience was good. With 12 people in our party we understand any challenges that can make.
After leaving our discussion became about the tip. In particular the preset tip of 18%. As a group we all felt that 18% was too high for what we received. Most would be fine with 15 but more offended by you assuming and charging us 18. In fact one of our part did not see that in his bill and paid an additional tip.
This is the reason the 12 of us most likely will not return. You should not assume how we want to spend our money.
We had a great table but there was a large party beside us who were very loud. The service and food however are always fabulous.
The server was so friendly and informative and gave an excellent beer recommendation. Food has always been exceptional and this day didn’t disappoint. We really enjoyed it and always do.
The food was good but a little too expensive for my taste. The ambience looked nice and I believe they tried to make it really authentic.
Reunion lunch at Miijidaa with an old friend from Norway, who was very impressed by the ambience and the quality of the food. The patio was drenched, so we sat inside. We ate a chicken salad sandwich (with a side of spinach salad and Niagara riesling) and the regular grilled cheese and bacon sandwich (with a side of fries and their "Wines of the 'Hood" Niagara Cabernet Franc, which remains my go-to red wine at Miijidaa). Everything was delicious. The welcome was cordial and service was attentive and fast. The place was quite quiet at 12:30 p.m. but by the time we were finishing lunch the noise level had risen to a still-acceptable level. This is a great place to meet friends for lunch.
Took someone on a date here and it was great. A lot of fish on the menu which I'm not a fan of. The braised beef with veggies and potatoes was 10/10. The beef just absolutely pulled apart perfectly and was so soft. The veggies were cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. The purée that it sat on was delicious. That dish is one of the more expensive ones but totally worth it.
Awesome meal, from start to finish. Service was amazing, every dish perfectly prepared (don’t miss the scotch eggs) and very reasonably priced. We’ll definitely be back!
I've been twice in the last week. Service is friendly but slow and both times, several mistakes were made. It's a real shame.
WE enjoyed the atmosphere and the service from Emily. Good selection of beer and the specials were a good price. Wasn't a fan of the Red Sangria, not as flavourful as I prefer, but we enjoyed our pizza and salad for sure.
Always a great meal and love the back yard patio
Enjoyed it very much will recommend it to people and we will return soon.
Niece’s university convocation
We had a fantastic experience for dinner, we were driving through and came on the reviews on TA. So glad we stopped, we will definitely be back. We already recommended this place to friends. Service was awesome!!! Food was excellent
Great experience. Love the atmosphere
Our server went over the top to make this celebration very special for us. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is lovely, and the people who work here are wonderful at what they do. We will continue to come back here!
We had a wonderful meal after my university convocation. AMAZING food and service! Would highly recommend.
The service was excellent and all our food came quickly and was DELICOUS. I always try to make an effort to visit the restaurant when I’m in Guelph, and I’m happy they did as they did not disappoint.
Service and food was amazing!
Not too loud and everyone in the restaurant seemed to be enjoying themselves - customers and staff.
First time at this restaurant and not disappointed. We were greeted pleasantly. Our server was friendly and engaging. Our meals were done to perfection with generous portions and tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance of this restaurant and will definitely return.
Relaxed and comfortable atmostphere. Our server Quinn was sympathetic, kind and attentive. He made great recommendations and was knowledgeable about the menu. The food was great and we really enjoyed the cocktails and wine. Would definitely recommend!
We had a great dinner here. Food was good. One of us had the tourtiere the other the mac and cheese. The sweet potato soup we had first was delicious. A great meal. Plan to go again. Service was excellent.
Thanks for making my wife's birthday so special. Great food and as always a very helpful, mature and interesting waitstaff!
Unique dishes made with fresh, flavourful ingredients. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Will definitely return!
Wonderful meals! My family enjoyed the food and the ambiance! Staff were friendly and attentive.
We came for a late lunch on Saturday. The service was very attentive. My mum said her seared salmon in wild rice was amazing, as was my potato pizza. The cheese and mushroom spread was okay. It was worth the drive from west Toronto for sure and we are planning to return.
We had the venison burger and thin crust pizza. Both were delicious. Highly recommend the food here. A bit noisy but what can you do.
Went for dinner for my birthday. Fantastic service (all the staff were fawning over my and my wife's baby), fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere. Always a good call from casual to fancy.
Mother’s day brunch menu was really good and offered a variety of new foods and classic favourites with a twist!
Very pleased with the quality of the food and the level of service. Pleasant environment and good value.
We had a wonderful Mother’s Day brunch with my daughter...great choice of brunch dishes and some unusual fare like Arctic char eggs Benedict...great lattes!
Our server was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food. She was spot in with recommendations. Appetizers and main courses were exceptional. Although the room became quite noisy, we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience at Miijidaa.
We came in from out of town for dinner before our movie - it was a wonderful experience in all aspects (had I known it would be so efficient, we could have booked a later table.
Food was fast, delicious, and very interesting - fresh flavor combinations and wonderfully varied textures. The chicken was spectacular, as was the cornbread!
Lovely ambiance; tasty food with local ingredients; friendly, attentive service.
Excellent, high quality entrees. Great atmosphere. Outstanding server, who went above and beyond to make our experience an excellent one
