Miku Restaurant - Toronto
We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.
Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.
Great atmosphere and food was amazing!
Slight mix-up at first causing us to wait a bit for a table. Food quality was absolutely great, and presentation was top-notch. Ambiance was great, however the noise level was a bit on the higher side, as expected from the volume of customers.
The Chef’s Tasting Menu was absolutely outstanding.
It was a great combination of meat and seafood with adequate portions.
Congratulations on your great establishment and thank you for a wonderful experience.
Love Miku... they have the most amazing food! I go here all the time and would recommend it to everyone.
Outstanding quality, succulent, absolutely melts in your mouth... highly recommend trying this place!
Great atmosphere and fantastic food
Very expensive. Food was good and unique. Sushi was just ok but 2nd course from Kaseki was amazing. Loved the scallops and prawn.
The food was excellent. I had the Miku Signature Sushi Selection plus the Pan Seared Scallops for appetizer. Both were superb. Each sushi was a pleasure sensation, and some of the best sushi that I have ever had. My wife had the Kyoto Saiko Miso Baked Sablefish and Kaiso Salad and found the Sablefish delicious. She didn't care for crunchy seaweed in her salad, but thought the flavors were good. We ended with Green Tea Opera and Chocolate Fondant for our desserts, and they did not disappoint.
Some of the dishes were good, others were not. The restaurant itself is beautiful, but I was disappointed by the food. Very expensive. For me the value for money was missing.
The presentation and service were wonderful but the food was incredible underwhelming.
Service and food quality outstanding as usual. Love the Aburi sushi! The prix fixe lunch provides value for $$ spent. Recommend you match with sake flight to sample the three different quality levels of sake. Will be back :)
Great food but expensive
We had the Mother's Day special menu. The food was exquisitely plated and beautifully cooked. The appetizer bento box was especially good as was the stuffed lobster with truffle broth. The passion fruit mousse dessert was a nice way to cap off the meal with its refreshing tartness, counterbalanced by the crunchy texture of popped quinoa.
Service was amazing; our server was very knowledgeable about the food and made a great recommendation for sake. The whole server team was very attentive throughout the evening.
Excellent service from our server - she knew each dish and sushi piece very well. Excellent accommodation of allergy by the manager and team.
Love Miku as always! It's such a great place for special occasion or if you want a nice night out! Especially enjoyed their sushi!
Everything is amazing. Tried the Sakura Menu, perfect!!!
I would absolutely recommend this place. The food was amazing and the service that we received was really good. Our servers provided us with amazing recommendation and they have explained our food in details.
I wouldn’t recommend Miku to anyone as the value for the quality of sushi was really horrible. The sushi had too much wasabi on it so we couldn’t even taste the fish as well I had a piece of nigiri sushi with a bone in it.
Miku failed to impress with service, especially with the expensive price tag.
Food is delicious, but I won’t be back due to the service.
I love this spot. Took my mom for Mother’s Day and our waitress was extremely attentive. My mom ran late and she accommodated me ordering while waiting since we had to catch a show. The sushi, octopus and chocolate dessert were all amazing. Also great cocktails! Highly recommend!
Should have taken more of the nigiri sushi, very nice!
Had the Premium Zen for lunch. Very good. Will be back next time for dinner!
Beautiful atmosphere, loved the set up and food was great!
Excellent food and outstanding service. The best meal in Toronto so far. We will definitely come again.
Our server recommended items not on the dinner menu to meet our dietary restrictions. Fantastic experience overall.
A bit noisy for a weekday lunch, but the set chef's tasting was beautifully presented and delicious!
Incredible service, and food. Would most definitely return.
The food was wonderful as always.
Fantastic food elegantly prepared
Kaeseki was an amazing experience!
Good food and service!
Had the Kaiseki meal, it was great. We did mention to the server that neither of us ate red meat and we were still served prosciutto in one of the courses. Other than that, excellent!
Very tasty but expensive. Appetizers were especially tasty but costly per unit.
Tried the Sakura Kaiseki with wine pairing and it was pretty excellent. Service made the whole night better though.
Amazing sushi amazing food. Great experience
This is a great spot with amazing sushi. Highly recommended!!
Food was really good and our waiter was very attentive.
