As the first East Coast location of Vancouver based ABURI Restaurants, Miku Toronto is proud to bring Aburi cuisine to Toronto's waterfront.

We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.

Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.

    Celebrate New Year's Eve with the team at Miku Toronto! Our executive culinary team has curated a beautiful six-course kaiseki-inspired tasting menu for $230 per person with a $65 premium beverage pairing options available as an accompaniment. Alongside our signature Aburi-style sushi, the main course features a wagyu duo of Miyazaki & Awaji wagyu. Please note we will not offer an a la carte menu for this evening. All guests must partake in the New Year's Eve tasting menu. We are offering a two-hour dining time for this experience.     Calling a menu “happy hour” but having no lower prices is pretty bad. We came here for a team lunch and the team specifically came at awkward hours for happy hour as price was a concern but we didn’t have time to leave the building. Very misleading.

    Had an amazing dining experience at this Japanese restaurant with a friend. We were both impressed by the exquisite Red Wave and Miku Rolls. The traditional nigiri and hosomaki set was equally delightful. For desserts, our selections perfectly matched our personal preferences. My friend chose the Matcha Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, a delightful fusion featuring matcha ganache, tangy yuzu curd, and candied Japanese citrus peels, all sitting atop a white chocolate cookie crumble and accompanied by jasmine tea ice cream. Meanwhile, I treated myself to the Valrhona Dark Chocolate Fondant, a decadent medley of hojicha cream and jasmine tea jelly, among other exquisite flavors. The beautiful music in the background perfectly complemented our meal, creating a memorable atmosphere. This restaurant is a must-visit for an unforgettable Japanese culinary experience.

    This place was stunning! My first experience at a restaurant like this and I will definitely be back again. The food was phenomenal, especially the ichigo mochi dome. I’ll be craving that constantly now lol.

    Overall enjoyed our dinner once we settled in. The restaurant was really loud and hard to have a conversation. We booked for a special birthday dinner and didn’t feel it was our best choice. The service was great, food was very nice but the ambiance was not what we were hoping for.

    This used to be one of my favourite restaurants but I was disappointed. The menu has changed and you do not get value for your money - too expensive for too few portions. I was embarrassed bringing a friend here for the first time. How can a sushi plate contain 4 pieces of sushi for $25?

    Compared to several years ago, it felt like the value of the food had declined a bit. The prices were reasonable for some dishes and a bit too expensive for others. I expected better service (which was always good in the past) but maybe this was due to the fact that it was quite busy (we had to ask for plates to be cleared at one point). Overall, the experience was just okay.. it’s not the way I remembered and I am a bit disappointed. Maybe it was just a one-off.

    Had the greatest experience at Miku. Their fried Japanese Crispy and Ebi fritters were some of my favourite appetizers. All of their Oshi sushi was fantastic but their Ebi Oshi sent me to the moon! Louise was also a magnificent server and I’ll definitely be back

    Pressed sushi was excellent, the restaurant itself is quite large but still nice and cozy. Probably one of the cleanest establishments I've been to and the service is top notch. Kevin was extremely kind and took the time to go through the dessert menu (making it sound much more appetizing)!

    This place is fantastic. I’ve wanted to go for years and finally did. The sushi samplers were great, the Brussels sprouts are amazing, the desserts are beautifully presented. The service was also very good. I will be back for a special occasion.

    I enjoyed the Kaiseki previously as compared to the new Aburi Kaiseki menu in celebration of their 8th year. Everything from the start was fine except for the Monk Fish dish. It had a very fishy taste that even the sauce could not mask that taste plus I almost got a fish bone stuck in my throat had I not been careful and slow as I bit down on the dish as I ate it. Otherwise the other dishes were fine. For the price of $175 it was almost a disaster experience. The service though was great as always.

    Miku was nothing short of outstanding. Our only negative comment was the noise level, unfortunately, a circumstance that has become normative in all restuarant experiences nowadays. (Our suggestion would be, minimally, to turn the music volume down, not just in Miku, but in all high end restaurants as a whole.)

    Miku really went above and beyond tonight, absolutely incredible hospitality. I had indicated on my reservation that I’m celebrating my anniversary with my partner. Every member of the restaurant from the host to our server and food runners wished us a happy anniversary. They even pipped out a happy anniversary on the dessert that we ordered. Immaculate food and warm hospitality.

    Staff are very welcoming. Restaurant was very busy but no delays in service and it was not overly noisy. The waitress provided a very detailed explanation of the menu and made modifications to the items based on personal taste and allergies. The food presentation and tastes were amazing. Extremely flavourful. The price was a little higher than we typically dine at, but for a top end restaurant, it was likely standard. Our bill was $260 with tip for two, and we had one drink each. We were very satisfied with the meal. All other sushi will taste very plain after eating here.

    I went there for the first time to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and it didn’t disappoint me at all. Miku is the place for anyone looking to have authentic Japanese food. Our server did an amazing job. The only feedback is on the ambience; you can barely hear the music. The restaurant can turn the music up a bit.

    It was our first visit to Miku and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Our waitress Lizzie was very helpful and walked us through the Menu and the Sake list and helped us select the food and drinks. The service was excellent and the food arrived quite quickly and the waitress and servers explained each item on the plate and the sauces that accompanied the food.

    Food as always was outstanding, I was a little surprised they have reduced their sushi portion sizes by half (previously 8 pieces, now 4) it was right there on the menu so at least I wasn’t shocked when it was brought to the table. Other than that it was a great evening as expected.
