As the first East Coast location of Vancouver based ABURI Restaurants, Miku Toronto is proud to bring Aburi cuisine to Toronto's waterfront.

We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.

We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.

    Really enjoyed tasting the flight of sake. As for the sushi..a bit bland .. i.e. more rice and mayonnaise, than salmon and wasabe. The chocolate/matcha opera cake and jasmine icecream was amazing. The weirdest part was the horrendous/loud grocery-store pop music they were playing. I much prefer the bold flavours and traditional experience of a real sushi place (where you feel like you are in Japan not a Florida bar) Sometimes fancy ...is not so fancy! - only thing morable about Miku was the bill.

    I had the fixed price tasting menu 'Kaiseki. This time I opted for a pint of Saporro instead of the available wine/sake pairings. Each of the courses was a delight. The desert course was a wonderfully surprising combination of layered flavours and textures revealing them selves in my mouth. My spouse chose a salad course followed by an assortment of sushi and finished with the 'Aburi Oshi Sampler'. The Aburi Oshi Sushi portion of the menu is the house specialty and we have been very satisfied with it each time we eat here.

    Excellent food! Service too slow to get your order and to clear the table. I had to get up and walk to service to make some requests as our server just didn’t come check up on us.

    Yummy Aburi sushi and desserts. I love eating here, makes me super happy. Great for conversation with a friend who enjoys delicious food as I do. It makes it even more enjoyable.

    First time here. The high quality of the sushi will make me come back again. Salmon oshi sushi and the Red wave roll were my favourites. Also highly recommend their cheese cake.

    My husband and I ordered the Miku Kaiseki Menu with wine and sake pairing. The food selections were varied and delicious. The foie gras oshi and the wagu were especially appealing. The service was attentive and efficient. A wonderful evening. Highly recommend.

    I've been to Miku several times and it's always amazing. I ordered the Kaiseki, which is the 5 course dinner, and it was fantastic with every course being delicious. The staff explains each dish as they bring them out and everything looks so great. Highly recommended!

    Got the kaiseki during dinner. There was fear that it would be too little food but I was so glad by the time it got to the fourth course (second to last, before dessert) course because I was starting to struggle to finish. I just couldn't really hear most of the explanations of the course. Loved our server. She was great and I kinda wish she explained everything for us because I was able to hear her. I'd go again! Had a good experience!

    We’ve never had a bad meal here. The service is unbelievable. Might be slightly pricier than other restaurants but the food (such as the Miku roll and Aburi) are amazing.

    The worst food I've had in a long time and that's not exaggerating. We dine at Japanese restaurants a lot in the city and love sushi, so we decided to try the Kaiseki meal at Miku. This was an insult to the concept of Kaiseki and the whole idea is fresh, seasonal ingredients. There was zero freshness in these ingredients. The sauces, seafood and accompaniments were completely off-putting to the point where we couldn't wait to get home to brush our teeth. The sauces were overpowering in their flavour and clumpy like you could tell they've been sitting under heat lamps too long. The fish was "fishy" and not in a good way, and the seasoning of everything was rancid. Forget talking about cohesion of the dishes or creativity, this was low-quality ingredients prepared terribly and the restaurant charges you hundreds of dollars for this "food". If you're about to say "maybe that was just the Kaiseki menu and you would've done better with the sushi", the meal had a sushi course and that's where I simply stopped eating because I was worried about getting sick. The ONLY good thing about this place was the service. Our waitress was very friendly and service was very swift, because everything was clearly pre-made ahead of time and that's why none of it was fresh. A waste of money and a disgrace to Japanese cuisine.
