About Miku Restaurant - Toronto
As the first East Coast location of Vancouver based Aburi Restaurants, Miku Toronto is proud to bring Aburi cuisine to Toronto's waterfront.
We specialize in innovative Aburi Sushi and seafood. Combining traditional Japanese techniques and flavours with fresh, local ingredients, our highly skilled chefs pair each morsel of sushi with a unique house made sauce in order to bring out the rich flavour profile of the fish, and then seal the flavours with a binchotan (oak charcoal)- accompanied flame sear. The result is the secret to Miku's success: sushi with a smoky aroma, umami flavour, and decadent, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
We also offer a variety of seafood entrées, appetizers, as well as seafood platters.
Our menu is best paired with our extensive sake, wine, and cocktail selection.

Miku Restaurant - Toronto Ratings and Reviews
Best service ever. And not just from our server. Host was fantastic and really engaging. Really blew our minds how much time they spent with our teenage children explaining different options. Really a must when visiting Toronto.
So delicious! I like it so much
Everything was delicious, but my favourite was the aburi sashimi appetizer. No wasabi or soy sauce was needed since each piece had unique sauces blended in. The Red Wave Roll could've been spicier. I actually didn't feel it was spicy at all. The wasabi on the individual nigiri pieces is very fresh, so it has the perfect amount of kick. It's a great restaurant to splurge a little to celebrate a special occasion.
It was really great. The food was delicious and they made accommodations for me. The food was so sophisticated!
the greatest restaurant I have ever experienced in Toronto！Highly recommend
Overpriced. Sake was delicious but not kept chilled for us. Service too focused on the up sell. Sushi bar boring; couldn’t see any action
I wasn't impressed with the service from our waiter, not friendly enough and felt more like we were a burden than valued guests. The food was tasty, however, it did not reflect the price of the food. The meal was almost $40 at the end for glorified tapas. For the price-value, I was not impressed.
Place was recommended as I was going to a Leaf game. I would give it an average rating, I have had better sushi and for the price point I did feel it was good value. Was kind of dead in the bar area as well so atmosphere a bit flat. The service staff were excellent however. KI at Bay and Wellington has it beat in my opinion.
Best sushi I've ever had. Pricey but fairly friendly staff and incredible quality food.
This was my first experience at Miku. Next time I will request a booth. The sound level was disturbing to our conversation. The food was excellent as was our server. Although I had made a reservation there was initial confusion as to where we were to be seated and we were left stranded in the middle of the restaurant until they figured out where our table was.
The sushi at Miku is amazing. I ordered the Miku Zen, which gave me an opportunity to try a little bit of everything. I loved the aburi sushi and sashimi. They were absolutely delicious. I would definitely eat here again.
This place is awesome. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Toronto. The house sake is wicked good and reasonable value by the half litre.
A couple of the sushi seemed a bit dry and the aburi items I feel should at least have appeared to have been torched within the last few minutes. The temperatures of the neta seemed a bit off.
We explored the seasonal set menu and it was a night of delights. Great wait staff and amazing food
Food presentation was exceptionally high.
Great food and service as always. The Christmas special menu is a great choice for couple celebration.
It as our firs time at Miku and it didn’t disappoint. My husband loves sushi, me not so much and we both satisfied with the menu. Our waitress went above and beyond.
Consistently an epicurean experience that doesn't disappoint, no matter what the occasion!
Fantastic service and food looks amazing. Taste to die for. 5/5.
Total disappointment. Ordered aburi prime and nigiri, the fish is not fresh nor tasty, rice is wrong. Surprised by the quality of food at a such upscale restaurant.
Just as good as Miku in Vancouver. Service was exceptional!
A wonderful meal in a very stylish environment. Would recommend to anyone for a downtown experience.
I've been to Miku twice. The first time was a much more enchanting experience, as it was all new, however the quality of food was consistently good and I enjoyed the ambiance. A must try for people who are tired of all you can eat sushi and enjoy something significantly upgrades. As for service, they definitely try their best to accommodate their guests. This is a place you go when you want to ensure you'll be treated well. Great presentation. Fun desserts.
Incredible food and service. Definitely recommend the set menu.
The food is great !
The location is good too !
Had a great experience - the food was tremendous and the service helpful and attentive. Got all the order nuances down and without an issue.
Definitely recommend for a special occasion
Great service, very attentive, table was always clean and clear, server gave great recommendations, and the wine glass was never empty!
Excellent !! Friendly Staff with Great Knowledge !!
Little Thirsty after meal, that was little unexpected!
But Overall, very very GOOD!
My favourite was the Mochi dome dessert. It was plated very nice and unique. It tasted delicious, not too sweet
Outstanding! Food quality and presentation is incredible. Aburi sushi is the only way to go!
The moment we sat down to our last meal was great. The service and knowledge of the staff was amazing. I will definitely come back again
Was highly rated on Trip Advisor but I would say this is a nice restaurant with decent food but quite over-hyped. There are far better Japanese restaurants in Toronto, eg, Ke that also has a better environment/vibe.
We tried the holiday special menu for $98 plus the wine tasting for $37 so one would expect a very memorable dinner. What we received was good/solid Japanese food with a large piece of prime rib. Interesting combination but not what I wanted, especially for that price. On the other hand the sake's were excellent and the service was super.
I took my sister here for her birthday as I had been to Miku in Vancouver a number of times. Service was excellent and food great. We knew to ask about the ebi fritters ( tempura shrimp with salad) as they were not on the menu and these should not be missed as they are delicious! The oishe sushi is excellent - different from traditional sushi but worth it. We had the salmon and it was wonderful - would highly recommend it. Only challenge is parking but you can park across the steeet at the Westin, just expensive at $20.
Amazing food and service! Love the “dome” dessert. Might go back just bc of that.
Excellent service - the staff were very attentive and the timing of each course was perfect
Amazing sushi - you can taste the quality of the fish they serve; and the aburi style adds a nice change of pace from most other sushi places in the city
My wife and I went to Miku for my birthday celebration.
It was a lovely meal, incredibly well prepared. The courses were tasty, original and sofisticated.
The staff is very friendly and ready for us.
I would recommend for a date, special occasion or if you want to have a taste of really well made japanese food.
The Kaiseki was the best meal I've ever had!
Definitely get it if you're thinking about it.
The food was very good. I had the holiday omakase. Everything was delicious. The restaurant called to confirm my booking the day before. It was for a birthday, and they told me that when the dessert would come out, they would bring something with written happy birthday on it. However, that never happened! I found that odd since they especially asked me about it over the phone.
The food and drinks were all incredible. Thank you Miku, we had a beautiful night!
we have been wanting to try this place for awhile, finally got to go and it did not disappoint. service was exceptional, food came out quick and the server we had was very knowledgeable when it came to the menu and any questions we had. the quality of the food was very very good, the only down fall was it was a tad pricey. but worth it. i would definitely recommend this place to others and i would return.
