Food is special.
Place is so loud.
Great sushi and great service.
The sake list is extensive and the staff generally knows how to recomend the pairing of your order and their sake. The desert as well was amazing!
Amazing sushi and great view of the waterfront.
Outstanding Food and Service. Must visit when in Vancouver. Best Sushi so far.
Good food the only highlight. Birthday but not recognized by reservation for it. Terrible table but did move us after to ok table. Would not give us a booth saying more the 2 people....but couples sat there just after us. Lame. Manager just stood around ....soap out in bathrooms but did want to fix just say what the issue was. Meaning no customer could was hands....gross and unhygienic. Wonder where there servers and staff washed? Nothing special re-birthday. felt like they only wanted quick money. Very disappointing. Was told gelato was down the street for birthday. Do not recommend.
Very attentive staff. Food was good, a touch pricey but considering the location and all it was still a good value.
Good location if you’re not looking for sashimi exclusively. The specialty sushi is delicious.
It’s a good location for special occasions and business meals.
The aburi sushi did not have any temperature like it used to. Since I've been to Miku often, I know it should be seared. We weren't expecting them to be steaming-hot, but at least warm right? At least they made an effort to re-make them for us. And I did express my gratitude through generous tipping.
Great service and food!
The quality of Miku Zen just went down hill dramatically :(
The value of the seasonal Sakura dinner was very low, since the portion was just too small for an aberage size normal human being.
Please correct for next theme dinner.
Having specially requested a window table well ahead of time we were disappointed that our request was not accommodated and all we had was a view of the pillar.
The Sakura tasting menu, however was wonderful.
I've only been to Miku 2 times. The first time was great - waiter was exceptional. So was the food. Last visit, waitress delivered poor service. An incident happened at our table but she didn't do anything to make it better. For such an expensive restaurant, you would expect more from your waiter/waitress. She also tried to charge us for a plating fee for eating a cake that was ordered from the restaurant itself!
Always great which is why I keep going back again and again
The tofu salad was terrible.
The lettuce was not fresh. Looked wilted and not appealing.
Veronika, our server, started our meal off perfectly with brief descriptions of some of the newer items on the menu and specials. She directed us towards some lighter options as we had had an enormous German style breakfast merely 2 hours earlier. The premium sashimi lunch special was the best I've ever had. Salmon oshii aburi is an absolute must at MIku. It's my third time here and it's never disappointed!
Sushi was really fresh
We all loved the albacore belly and beef carpaccio
We celebrated my S.O.'s birthday at miku's and the staff made it a real special event. We were reserved a place at the window and I told the staff beforehand that it is going to be a special night for us. They tried everything to make it the most amazing evening we had so far. We got excellent recommendations on food and wine and we even got the dessert with birthday wishes on them. So nice of them! The food was delicious and the wine our server recommended fitted perfectly to the appetizers and the sushi! All in all an awesome experience and I would recommend it to any of my friends! Thank you so much for a special night!
One of my favourite Japanese restaurants in Vancouver. Great food and service!
Service was terrible. We were not allowed a drink at the bar while we waited for a table. There were empty seats but we were told it was full.
Once seated we waited 15 minutes for a drink.
Everyone was quick to clear our plates but not to deliver our dishes. And the food was underwhelming.
As always, the food, service and atmosphere of this restaurant were second to none. A must-visit restaurant when in Vancouver.
Russ and Gaye
They have the best sushi in Vancouver! Great view! Great food! Great service!
The best service my friends and I have ever had. The server was so attentive and accommodating to everything we needed and asked for! I have a sever but allergy and the restaurant went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The GM even came over to express that they would do everything in their power to make sure All my dishes were made in a bit free environment. Bravo! The restaurant had a super cool vibe and definitely trendy. Next time my friends and I visit Canada that will absolutely be a place we stop at again!
Where is the free birthday desert??
Mayb u can have more menu ?
Too noisy environment , they offered a table for 4 for 6 of us,so crowded. Good food and service .
One of the best sushi experience!! Food was fresh and tasty .. from appetizer to desert !! Highly recommended!!
Had a set menu. Food was beautifully presented. Very tasty!
Great customer service, fantastic food, beautiful view
Amazing sushi, very knowledgeable staff. Great experience
Over all the service was amazing! However the food is unfortunately over priced for what it is. Especially in Vancouver where there is so much good sushi that is much cheaper to choose from.
Great food, great service, a real go-to spot in Vancouver.
El mejor Restaurant de comida japonesa, sin duda regresaría
the best sushi restaurant in Vancouver, try the sable Fish , just great.
as an appetizer the calamari and edamame
Everything was great! The service was attentive but not overbearing. The sushi was amazing! We will be back for sure.
The sashimi and aburi were amazing - I highly recommend the Salmon Aburi as well as the blue fin tuna and scallop for the sashimi. My friend and I also tried the dessert platter which samples all four desserts. As expected, the green tea opera cake is the best, and the other are just okay. Overall, Miku is a pretty nice place for a date or a special meal, but I wouldn't choose it for my birthday or anniversary because the ambience can be a bit loud sometimes for a more private or intimate occasion! Very positive experience overall.
Excellent quality sushi. Very tasty if you like sauces in your sushi. If not, can be a bit much.
I was there for the first time last Saturday - loved the restaurant. I got the premium meal (different types of sushi) and fell in love with the seared salmon sushi (not sure what the actual name is). I will definitely return.
It’s always a place to treat my visitor friends, all of them thumb up, with no exceptions! Great job Miku, keep it up 👍
